Mods4cars announces 7 new SmartTOP roof controllers

Mods4cars is announcing 7 new SmartTOP roof modules for the 2011 convertible season. The manufacturer reports that after-market roof controllers for the BMW 6 Convertible (F12), Mercedes Benz SLK (R172), Nissan 370Z Roadster, Renault Megane CC (III), Renault Wind, VW EOS (Facelift) and VW Golf VI Convertible will be available this year.

Ocean, NJ, March 15, 2011 — Mods4cars is announcing new convertible roof controllers for 7 cars. After-market SmartTOP modules for the BMW 6 Convertible (F12), the Mercedes Benz SLK (R172), and the Nissan 370Z Roadster will be available this year. Products for the French convertibles Renault Megane CC (III) and the Renault Wind will also be available this season. Mods4cars will also produce roof controllers for the German VW EOS (Facelift) and the new VW Golf VI Convertible in 2011.

All the new models will feature the SmartTOP’s two most important functions. Firstly, the One-Touch system allows the roof to be opened while driving; the roof can be operated up to a speed of about 40 km/h. All it takes is a quick push of a button inside the cabin, thereby eliminating the inconvenience of having to press and hold the roof button. Secondly, the roof can be controlled from a distance using the car’s existing remote fob without having to change or reprogram the original car key.

“Depending on the module, additional features can be added to these two main functions,” states PR representative Sven Tornow. He continues: “All the modules also feature a practical USB connector that permits our customers to comfortably download unlimited free software updates on their home computer.”

The new SmartTOP after-market roof controllers will start at 249 Euros + tax.

Modules for the following models are now available for purchase: Alfa, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Infiniti, Mazda, Mercedes, Mini, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Volkswagen and Volvo.

About Mods4cars:
Mods4cars was founded in 2002 with the idea to add a highly demanded feature to the otherwise almost perfect Porsche Boxster: Comfort One-Touch roof operation while driving at slow speeds. The resulting product offered not only that, but also allowed quick and easy installation by just swapping out a relay box, thus leaving no traces and no permanent changes on the vehicle. The first SmartTOP roof controller was born.

The success of their first products in Germany and Europe prompted them in late 2004 to move operations to the USA, to be able to serve the American market as well as all other English speaking countries such as Australia, UK and South Africa from one central location. Their business has grown to a full-fledged international corporation with an office in California and a full line of innovative products as well as distributors and installation partners all over the globe.

Being highly specialized in the development and distribution of aftermarket roof- and comfort controllers since 2002 allows them to offer an unsurpassed level of competence and product quality. Their main goal is optimization of each individual product to a maximum in compatibility, usability and intuitive operation. They put greatest effort into development and quality checks of all their products to achieve this goal and meet all expectations of their customers.

The extraordinary success of their products is also based on the great communication with their customers, which usually already starts for each new product during the development and prototyping phase.

Blueberry Foodservice Consultancy Announce The Imminent Opening The New 100 Seat Blackbrooks Cafe In Battle Near Hastings

Blueberry Foodservice Consultancy is proud to announce the imminent opening the new 100 seat Blackbrooks Cafe in Battle near Hastings.

Oxon, UK, March 15, 2011 — Following an initial meeting, we have managed to create a menu, design and concept and developed the cafe through to opening inside 4 months! Working closely with the owner, Mark Winchester, catering consultant, Salim Sajid developed a real understanding of what was required and came up with a menu that reflected the needs of the local customers.

“I wanted to ensure that we were sourcing local, quality ingredients and developing dishes that were what local customers wanted. The menu needed to appeal to the retired keen gardeners as well as the “ladies that lunch” so freshness, colour and real flavour are all important as well as excellent value for money” said Salim, who also help recruit the senior management team for the cafe “Mark has a real vision for the garden centre and see the cafe as being the catalyst for making this become a reality.”

As part of the brief, Blueberry Catering Consultants also developed the interior look of the cafe, which is light, airy and fresh but still retains a warmth and comfort. This was achieved through the use of soft wood, hand painted finishes and soft fabrics for flooring, furniture and wallpapers. Overall the contemporary feel of the cafe will give a real lift to the whole garden centre, which will benefit from new customers.

“We’ve created three very distinct areas and I’m sure customers will quickly settle on a favourite place to sit. It will be essential that the team now get used to the space and the layout quickly so that the customer experiences excellent customer service and a great dining experience” said Salim, who was also involved in the development of the pioneering Beckworth Emporium as well as the hugely successful Haskins restaurant in Ferndown, “my intention will be to support Mark and his team through the opening period, helping them put controls and standards in place that will not be compromised and will develop a strong reputation in the area.”
