Output Factory Server for Adobe InDesign Now Supports CC 2015

Zevrix Solutions announces Output Factory Server 1.2.1, a compatibility update to its output workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Output Factory Server automates printing and exporting from InDesign by processing files from hot folders. The software offloads output tasks to a central system leaving operator workstations free from the output process. The new version makes Output Factory Server compatible with the 2015 release of InDesign CC featured as part of Adobe Creative Cloud.

Bryn Mawr Brewing Co. Signs Lease & Leads Redevelopment of Historic Minneapolis Location

Local craft brewery Bryn Mawr Brewing Co. has announced the signing of its 10-year lease in the @Glenwood development located at 225 Thomas Ave. N in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Minneapolis, MN, USA (July 28, 2015) — Local craft brewery Bryn Mawr Brewing Co. has announced the signing of its 10-year lease in the @Glenwood development located at 225 Thomas Ave. N in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood of Minneapolis. The location was home to the Glenwood Inglewood Water Company and the Fruen Mill throughout the late 19th and much of the 20th century, but has sat vacant for many years. The upstart craft brewery is part of a redevelopment plan to turn this historic location into a contemporary new business campus that will also feature trendy restaurant and modern office spaces.

Bryn Mawr Brewing Co. is the development’s third tenant and will be located in a 18,000 square foot warehouse on the southeast end of the business campus. The brewery has hired Minneapolis based LSE Architects to lead the design of it’s new residence. Along with a full production brewery, the location is slated to feature a European themed tap room and an outdoor beer garden on the banks of neighboring Bassett Creek.

The building that Bryn Mawr Brewing Co. will be housed in was originally built in the 1990s and was the bottling plant for the Glenwood Inglewood Water Company. For over 50 years, the company bottled water from the site’s natural springs and distributed it across the Midwest before being sold to the Colorado based Deep Rock Water Company in 1990. These same spring waters will be available to the brewery for use in its beer production.

At Glenwood LLC purchased the 63,000 square foot site in March of 2014 and is leading the redevelopment of the site. The entity is related to PUSH Interactive, a digital advertising company that currently anchors the site.

“Our partners and our company are looking to turn this into a fun and exciting place to work, play, eat, and potentially even live” said Haig Newton of PUSH Interactive. “This is a unique and historic spot in Minneapolis and we’re revitalizing it to its original vibrancy by inviting exciting businesses and creative people to join us.”

Construction on Bryn Mawr Brewing Co.’s brewery will begin later this summer with the expectation of opening to the public in late 2015 or early 2016. Development of the site will continue over the next two years with plans for a 3 to 4-story modern office complex, public walkways and natural space along Bassett Creek, and a rooftop event space.

The plate adapter is compatible with straight needle evaporation devices such as the Biotage® SPE Dry 96 and Biotage® SPE Dry Dual systems, and does not require any changes to the existing analytical method.

The Biotage® ACT Plate Adapter is designed to fit on top of the 96-well collection plate, is reusable and easy to use. Evaporated gases are directed away from the sample wells, eddies are reduced, and the plate adapter reduces the open surface area of the top of the wells, lessening the likelihood that material can re-enter and contaminate adjacent wells.

“During evaporation a proportional amount of analytes present in an extracted sample can contaminate surrounding wells by being carried with the volatilized solvent. If the analyte concentration in one well is considerably higher than the analyte concentration in the surrounding wells it has the potential to cause a clinically significant and erroneous change to the adjacent samples. Biotage® ACT Plate Adapter is the first commercially available device to address the issue of cross talk on evaporation” says Dr. Claire Desbrow, Product Manager, Analytical Chemistry, Biotage.

The plate adapter can be incorporated into existing assays without the need for changing any other aspects of the method, and there is minimal impact of solvent drying times.
