Best Home Care Launches Updated and User-Friendly New Website

Best Home Care, a Twin Cities home health care agency, has launched a new website featuring an enhanced design and more streamlined layout.

Minneapolis, MN, USA — Best Home Care MN, a Minneapolis home health care agency, has debuted a new design and layout for their website (http://www.besthomecaremn.com). The main focus of the redesign was to improve a visitor’s experience by creating simpler navigation options and a more streamlined site map. An elegant web design was included in the new site to provide a modern feel.

The home care professionals at Best Home Care began pouring over the PCA agency’s old website to determine what could be improved in late 2015. After deciding on an improved site layout and design, the home care team passed it along to the company’s web designers to bring it to life. After several rounds of refinement and revisions, the new Best Home Care website was launched on April 21, 2016.

Some items addressed in the Best Home Care website redesign included:
– Simplified the main menu to include seven headings instead of the eleven on the previous website
– Reorganized the content on various pages to help visitors find caregiving resources conveniently
– Streamlined the homepage to appear much cleaner with clear paths for information
– Applied larger font sizes throughout the website to assist those with vision challenges

“All the home care professionals here at Best Home Care are excited about our new website,” said Andre Best, Owner of Best Home Care. “Since taking it live, we have received a lot of positive feedback and compliments!”

While many items were updated throughout the design, most of the features and resources of the old site remain present. In addition to basic information about the Minnesota home care agency, the website features a plethora of resources for personal care assistants and family caregivers as well as valuable caregiver support tools. One of the website’s most visited pages since launch is the Get Paid for Taking Care of a Family Member. This page explains the different approaches for a family caregiver to be compensated for their in-home supportive services.

The Best Home Care website redesign was performed by Brandography, a Minneapolis digital marketing agency.

Best Home Care Announces New Benefits For Its Home Care Employees

Best Home Care, a Twin Cities home health care agency, provides resources for personal care assistants and family caregivers to stay healthy while providing home care services.

Minneapolis, MN, USA (July 26, 2015) — Best Home Care, a Minnesota home care agency, is excited to offer new benefits for its home care workers including paid time off and a higher starting wage for all employees, plus free preventative health care for full-time employees and their dependents. These added benefits come upon the ratification of a new union contract that specifies PTO and pay rates for all home care workers serving consumer directed recipients. Best Home Care will make these benefits available to all its employees, regardless if they are union members or not.

As of July 1st, all employees of Best Home Care will now receive paid time off hours, which they can use to take time for themselves or to be with their families. This marks the first time the home care company will offer PTO to both its full and part-time employees. In line with the specifications outlined in the newly ratified union contract, Best Home Care has adjusted the starting wage for all its home care workers to $10.75. This rate is the new industry standard across all home care agencies in Minnesota.

Best Home Care is also offering a free preventive health care plan for all of its full-time employees and their dependents. The health care plan will cover preventative health services, such as shots and screening tests, at no cost to the home care worker. This marks the first time in the home care agency’s history that it will offer health benefits to its home care professionals at no charge.

“These new employee benefits are just one more way we’re working to make Best Home Care a quality place to work,” said Andre Best, owner of Best Home Care. “We want each of our home care workers to know that Best Home Care has their welfare in mind and these benefits are our response.”

In an effort to make working for and receiving home care services from Best Home Care easy and convenient, the company has updated its HomeCare Timesheets App. This app allows Best Home Care’s personal care assistants and home care professionals to conveniently submit the amount of hours worked directly from a smartphone. The app’s update includes enhanced features such as saved profiles and a new user-friendly time entry screen that makes entering work hours easier than ever.
