Santa’s Secret Wish Offers Message of Gratitude

“K” Stone has done it again. Taking inspiration from her grandchild, Charlotte, Stone has created a new twist on a classic holiday legend; Santa Claus.

San Antonio, TX (USA), September 29th, 2016 — “K” Stone has done it again. Taking inspiration from her grandchild, Charlotte, Stone has created a new twist on a classic holiday legend; Santa Claus. Have you ever wondered what Santa wishes for each year? Santa’s most loyal elf CB and Charlotte discover that Santa’s greatest wish is to receive as many letters after Christmas as he does before.

“I was inspired to write this story after my youngest grandchild, Charlotte, designed a colorful glitter and jewel bedecked thank you card for Santa,” said author “K” Stone. “She showed me her lovely creation filled with gratitude for all of the wonderful presents she had received and wanted to make sure that it was mailed directly to the North Pole. Her pure and grateful heart inspired this story that will hopefully encourage families to create a similar tradition in their home each holiday.”

Santa’s Secret Wish” is the second children’s story written by author and retired school teacher “K” Stone. Her first book, “’The Beach Fairy” was inspired by another true event, this one starring her oldest grand-daughter Georgia and their many treks to the beach.

Ms. Stone is a great believer in families and family traditions. She believes that literature should imitate life and wants to create wonderful memories for her grandchildren. “Santa’s Secret Wish” is a living legacy for her granddaughter and she plans to create a series of children’s stories steeped in family joy and love.

The message of being grateful is universal. “K” Stone’s story “Santa’s Secret Wish” is a great way of reminding children that, while it is fine to ask for what you want, it is just as important to be thankful and let the giver know just how much you appreciate his thoughtfulness. “Santa’s Secret Wish” is sure to become a classic holiday tale that families read to their children every Christmas.

Mi Rancho Reaffirms Commitment to Delivering Healthy, Organic, Non-GMO Products for Both Retail and Foodservice Customers.

San Leandro, CA, USA — Mi Rancho® (http://www.mirancho.com), a Bay Area food innovator in the production and global distribution of tortillas and Mexican foods, today announced that six additional organic tortilla products in the company’s retail and foodservice lines have been verified by the Non-GMO Project. Non-GMO verification has been extended to three retail products – Mi Rancho’s small and large organic flour tortillas, and organic whole wheat tortillas – and three foodservice products – Mi Rancho’s 12-inch organic flour, whole wheat, and spinach tortillas.

The Non-GMO Project is a nonprofit organization committed to educating consumers and verifying foods that do not contain genetically modified organisms by validating food sources and food production techniques. Non-GMO Project verification of these six Mi Rancho products comes just in time to celebrate Non-GMO Month in October, sponsored by the Non-GMO Project for retailers, food producers, and distributors to highlight items that are Non-GMO Project Verified.

“Visibility to the GMO status of ingredients allows the consumer the flexibility to make educated dietary choices,” said Joe Trummer, Director of Research and Development for Mi Rancho. “Non-GMO verification reaffirms our commitment to our retail and foodservice customers that we provide high-quality, flavorful tortillas using the best natural ingredients produced using traditional methods. We are also pleased to make this announcement in conjunction with Non-GMO Month as part of our pledge to educate our customers about the benefits of all natural foods.”

Mi Rancho has been producing high-quality specialty foods since 1939 and has always used the finest ingredients and centuries-old production methods to make authentic tortillas. Using only natural preservatives, Mi Rancho delivers fresh, wholesome tortillas with an ambient shelf life of at least 30 days. Mi Rancho plans to have all its organic tortillas verified as Non-GMO as proof to the market that the company uses only the finest natural ingredients.

SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller for Peugeot 207CC Now with New Wiring Adapter

The aftermarket SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller made by Mods4cars for Peugeot 207CC now ships with an improved Plug and Play wiring adapter harness. The new harness makes installation even easier and locks connections between module and vehicle electronics into place more securely.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), September 26th, 2016 — Automotive aftermarket electronics specialist Mods4cars has overhauled the design of the custom designed Plug-and-Play wiring harness for the SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller kit. The new connectors make it impossible to mate plug and socket the wrong way around. Now instead of simply connecting two plugs, there is a custom designed socket which mates perfectly and securely with the matching plug and includes a locking latch.

Using the Plug-and-Play wiring adapter harness which comes as part of the kit, installation of the SmartTOP module is extremely easy and gives 207CC owners a quick and simple way to obtain the benefits of having a SmartTOP controller installed: The top can be opened and closed while driving up to a speed of 50km/h (~32mph). A quick tap on the top switch is enough to start a full automatic operation. Additionally the top can be controlled from the original factory key remote. No changes are necessary to the original remote.

“We continually work on making installation of our products as simple as possible for our customers.” explains PR-Manager Sven Tornow. “We are very happy that we were able to further simplify the installation process for the Peugeot 207CC kit. Thanks to the new connector socket it is now impossible to damage any contacts or make a wrong connection and it is no longer necessary to secure the plugs as this new socket has a built-in locking mechanism which latches the connectors securely into place.” Sven Tornow continues.

Each SmartTOP module comes with a host of bonus features as well. In the case of the 207CC the windows can be controlled separately from the top by remote. All windows can be closed using one-touch operation from the center console switch. An extended mode can be activated, which allows the engine to be started or stopped during an ongoing top operation. The entire module can be temporarily disabled while retaining all user configurable settings.

All functions and features can be individually programmed by the user. A setup menu is available which uses the in-dash display to show clear text options. Configuring the module as well as updating the firmware is also possible via Mac or PC. The module comes with built-in USB port and support software is available online free of charge.

The SmartTOP kit for Peugeot 207CC ships with the new, improved Plug-and-Play adapter effective immediately and is available for 229 Euros + tax. SmartTOP kits are also available for Peugeot 307CC and 308CC. Mods4cars offers a wide variety of kits for popular brands such as: Alfa, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Volvo and VW.

About Mods4cars:
Mods4cars was founded in 2002 with the idea to add a highly demanded feature to the otherwise almost perfect Porsche Boxster: Comfort One-Touch roof operation while driving at slow speeds. The resulting product offered not only that, but also allowed quick and easy installation by just swapping out a relay box, thus leaving no traces and no permanent changes on the vehicle. The first SmartTOP roof controller was born.

The success of their first products in Germany and Europe prompted them in late 2004 to move operations to the USA, to be able to serve the American market as well as all other English speaking countries such as Australia, UK and South Africa from one central location. Their business has grown to a full-fledged international corporation with an office in Las Vegas and a full line of innovative products as well as distributors and installation partners all over the globe.

Being highly specialized in the development and distribution of aftermarket roof- and comfort controllers since 2002 allows them to offer an unsurpassed level of competence and product quality. Their main goal is optimization of each individual product to a maximum in compatibility, usability and intuitive operation. They put greatest effort into development and quality checks of all their products to achieve this goal and meet all expectations of their customers.

The extraordinary success of their products is also based on the great communication with their customers, which usually already starts for each new product during the development and prototyping phase.

Fulham Adds New HotSpot Plus LED Driver & Emergency System with Bottom Side Leads for Downlight Installations

Fulham’s Versatile LED System with Built-in Battery for Emergency Lighting Now Available in Three Wiring Configurations to Simplify Field Installation.

Hawthorne, CA, USA — Fulham Co., Inc., a leading supplier of lighting components and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, today announced the addition of a new HotSpot Plus LED Driver & Emergency System with bottom side leads and studs (BLS) form factor designed for downlight and troffer installations where the driver resides on top of the fixture. The new BLS configuration makes the HotSpot Plus even more versatile, providing an LED driver with emergency lighting functionality in a compact enclosure that can be easily installed in tight spaces. In fact, the HotSpot Plus is the smallest complete emergency LED system on the market.

The HotSpot Plus LED Driver & Emergency System is an all-in-one unit that includes a 0-10V dimmable LED driver, emergency LED driver, and replaceable battery backup, thus eliminating the need to install a separate emergency lighting system. The HotSpot Plus functions as a 40W constant current LED driver with programmable output range of 250-1400mA. In the event of an emergency, the built-in battery automatically provides emergency lighting for up to 180 minutes at 5W or 90 minutes at 10W. In addition to the new BLS form factor, the HotSpot Plus also is available in a compact or linear design with end leads.

“Our HotSpot Plus units showcase some of Fulham’s latest lighting innovations,” said Alvaro Garcia, Product Director LED & Emergency Drivers for Fulham. “The HotSpot Plus combines an LED driver with battery-powered emergency lighting, available in three form factors for any type of installation, and the drivers are fully programmable using our SmartSet systems. Our objective is to deliver innovative, energy-efficient lighting solutions that are easy to install and can evolve with our customer’s needs. Clearly the HotSpot Plus fills the bill.”

One of Fulham’s growing family of smart, programmable LED drivers, the HotSpot Plus LED Driver & Emergency System is programmable in 1mA increments using a handheld SmartSet controller. Fulham’s SmartSet programming enables integration of more efficient lighting modules in luminaire design with programmable step dimming and dim-to-off. It also features an illuminated test switch/AC power indicator and self-diagnostics. The driver comes with a five-year warranty.

Fulham’s SmartSet light programming platform uses either a handheld controller or SmartSet PC Software to control Fulham’s LED drivers. The driver doesn’t have to be powered on to be programmed, and SmartSet includes an auto-program feature that enables fast, one-touch programming of multiple fixtures.

All three models are now shipping from Fulham and its distribution partners in North America.
