Los Angeles, CA, October 26, 2013 – Balloon 27 (B27), innovative publisher of mobile video games announces that their quirky and addictive motorcycle trick game Hill Bill is available now through Monday, October 28, to download on iOS for free during the three-day event. Next week the “Vegas” level pack will be released, so iOS users may get familiar with Hill Bill this weekend for free, before the big addition.

Hill Bill can always be downloaded for iOS as well as Android. After this event, users continue to receive the first 20 of 60 levels absolutely free. Then, users can download the full game for 0.99.

Hill Bill features a zany character named Bill, who has high hopes to ride like his ultimate hero, Evel Knievel, and jump the Grand Canyon. This little daredevil attempts bigger and more intense, crazy stunts on his third-hand garage sale motorcycle as the levels progress. Hill Bill features incredible artwork and sound effects with easy to pick up game play, also allowing players to earn in-game credits to upgrade and purchase new bikes and costumes–without investing any real bucks!

Sweet Swan Story Helps Children Learn Courtesy

Revered columnist Miss Manners certainly would approve of author Beth Consugar’s new book, Swanee Day. “It’s all about being polite,” Consugar said.

Houston, TX (USA), October 25, 2013 — Recently published through Halo Publishing International, Swanee Day is a short story that teaches a lesson about the importance of good manners. Consugar said it is an enjoyable book for children age three to six and their parents. “Swanee Day is an important holiday for swans, and one of them, Grace, has forgotten her manners,” the author explained. “She needs to remember her manners before the holiday is over.”

Consugar said interacting with people is a huge part of life, so it is essential that children learn how to respectfully treat others.

Halo Publisher Lisa Umina said Swanee Day offers a way for children to learn courtesy, an important part of humanity. “Beth Consugar has written a sweet story that teaches a valuable lesson,” Umina said.

A career Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania, Consugar participates in an online forum for writers. The group issued a challenge to write a short story that teaches a lesson, and Swanee Day was born.

The author grew up in the coal regions of Pennsylvania and is the oldest of four children. She still lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Bill. Watching their school-age daughter read and listen to books inspired Consugar to write. She completed a course with the Institute of Children’s Literature. In addition to reading and writing, the author loves spending time with her family, cross-stitch and hiking.

Consugar earned her accounting degree at Pennsylvania State University. She is a longtime member of the American Business Woman’s Association and serves as vice president of her local chapter and chairperson of several committees.

Leather Craftsman Raises Funding with Kickstarter Campaign.

Merritt Island, FL (USA), October 25, 2013 — Paul R. Brooks, an experienced leather craftsman who began working with leather in the early 1970s, recently launched his first line of minimalist wallets on the popular crowdfunding website Kickstarter.

Paul Brooks, known amongst friends and family as “The Craftsman,” has developed a uniquely shaped minimalist wallet which balances the handcrafted style for which he is known along with a sleek and polished finished product.
