CleverTap Introduces Live User Segments – an Industry First Approach for Analyzing User Behavior in Mobile Apps

CleverTap is pleased to announce an industry first: the ability to segment mobile app users based on behavior in real-time, offering instant, personalized engagement – with proven results.

San Francisco, CA, USA — CleverTap, a leader in mobile analytics and engagement, announced Live User Segments, a new capability for evaluating a user’s behavior as it happens in an app. Live User Segments run continuously and act like a real-time filter on a user’s behavior. Users are dynamically added to segments the moment their behavior matches pre-defined criteria.

App developers and marketers use Live User Segments to do real-time monitoring and analysis of critical user flows such as onboarding and conversions. Marketing campaigns using push notifications, email, SMS and browser notifications, can be automated to message users exactly when they complete a specified activity or sequence of activities, or even upon inaction, when they do not perform a desired activity within a specified amount of time, which could be in minutes, hours or days.

“Live User Segments are the cornerstone of our app engagement strategy,” said Revant Bhate Head of Marketing at Faasos. “We deliver thousands of meal orders during the lunch hour but if a customer doesn’t complete an order by 12:15, we’ve lost that purchase. Our Live User Segments campaigns run continuously and identify customers we’re about to lose, and send them personalized push notifications with incentives to buy. We’ve seen a 30% lift in our conversions.”

Live User Segments is the latest addition to what is the most advanced behavioral segmentation tool available for businesses today. Whereas other tools allow you to segment audience based on simple rules such as a single user activity or user property, CleverTap is the only platform that allows segmentation based on any comprehensive set of actions or inactions a user performs in an app. Segments can look backward at past user behavior or, with Live User Segments, can evaluate user behavior as it happens, adding them to a segment in real-time.

“The key to any app’s success is knowing who your users are and how they experience your app,” said Paul Brody, Chief Product Officer for CleverTap. Segments can be monitored against KPIs (show me 30 day retention for 2nd time purchasers), compared to each other, used to automate engagement campaigns or sent to a webhook endpoint for use by other systems such as a CRM. And with Live User Segments, said Brody, you can now drive immediate user engagement or power the dashboard on the CEOs desk to show real-time, dynamic metrics on everything from who’s in the app right now to the total number of conversions in the past hour or day.”

Live User Segments will be available to all customers in July and is included as part of all CleverTap plans. Pricing is designed to place the tool within reach of startups with affordable plans that allows up to one million events per month, free.

New technology solves digital overload for family memories

San Diego, CA, December 14, 2015 — /EPR NETWORK/ — Have you ever had the issue of looking for a specific photo and can’t find it? You thumb scroll endlessly but there’s no effective way to sift through all those photos every time you’re looking for something specific.

OurHive™ is the newest family app that combines patented technology and a private family network to deal with this growing issue of digital overload. The app is now live on Google Play, the App Store and as a Web App at www.GetOurHive.com.

OurHive combines the best features of a photo and video application with a private social network created especially for families. With the OurHive app, family photos and videos can be automatically tagged, organized and instantly shared with only the people you care most about. Once a private Hive is created, family members can upload and share photos and videos with each other using their iPhones, iPads, Android phones, tablets, laptops or desktop computers. All files are archived in high resolution and can be viewed and downloaded anytime.

“For many families, life is full of sacred moments that should be treasured and preserved for generations to come,” said Stephen D. Rosen, co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer of OurHive. “Today’s digital world has made sharing information convenient, but too often that sharing is made with impersonal detachment. OurHive is for people who appreciate the special intimacy that comes with sharing special memories.”

Photo and video sharing within mass-market social networks can sometimes be compromised by unauthorized use and manipulation of media. Special attention has been made with OurHive’s cloud interface to ensure the best security. Photos and videos are encrypted every step in the journey from devices to OurHive servers and back again, and the content can only be accessed by invited, password-protected members.

Because archiving and tracking family photo albums is important, the OurHive app was designed to make tagging and organization simple and accessible. Every photo and video you take with the iOS or Android app ‘automagically’ adds a caption and location from your calendar, along with the closest address when GPS is enabled. You can then edit the filename, add tags and captions and give your photos the same context that writing on the back in ink used to for print photographs.

“Whether it’s your child’s first birthday or grandma’s retirement party, OurHive encourages the family to share all of the pictures and videos they take — not just a few chosen ones that you put on Facebook or Instagram,” said Jeff Symon, co-founder and president. “With OurHive, anyone in your Hive can download any picture they want from any of their internet-connected devices. No more having to remember to text or email individual photos later.”

How OurHive Works

Starting your own Hive begins with one family member starting a free 20GB Family Hive by visiting GetOurHive.com or downloading the “OurHive” app on Google Play and the App Store. They can then invite as many family members or close friends as they want into their secure, private Hive. Each user can then download the free app on the iOS or Android device of their choice and start contributing and sharing family memories.

OurHive™ automatically stores your photos and videos in high resolution in your own private network. Anyone in your family Hive can download anytime they want and future updates will allow for even more functionality.

Innovative New Way to Send a Shout Out

App4that Solutions, an App Software company, has recently deployed an innovative way to create, send, and save text based communication with location information provided as a Google map link.

Louisville, KY, March 23, 2013 — Advancements in social media and texting platforms are replacing the way we communicate with our co-workers, friends, and family. The development of mobile Apps, like Shout Outz, are paving the way for immediate response and location based communications. It is text messaging taken to the next level. Until recent years, texting has been the primary vehicle for mobile non-business forms of communications. Now business and no-businesses alike are embracing the benefits of mobile social medias to communicate more effectively with their connections. Shout Outz demonstrates another layer of the development in how our electronic communication models continue to evolve.

Shout Outz offers users the same sleek user interface as seen on iPhone’s iMessage app, but picks up where Apple developers left off. Messages created with Shout Outz can be saved, copied, edited, re-saved, and even stored as history. And the most acclaimed feature; you can send a current place or surrounding place in a text message as a Google map link. The recipient of the message can touch the link and use the Google maps app or website to drive or walk to the sender’s location.

With over 91 percent of the US population carrying smart phones and staggering statistics such as, “96 percent of all text messages engage readers within 5 seconds of receipt.” Apps like Shout Outz only further exemplify a strong case for the future of e-mail destitute.

Allen Boyd, a General Manager, at Excel Logistic says, “Shout Outz has helped our operation to implement an effective, real-time communication channel into our procedures. A pole taken at excel showed over 75 percent of the workforce in Evansville, IN wanted to receive severe weather updates and general building announcements via text messaging, than through an e-mail.”

Like Facebook, Twitter and other social media based Apps, Shout Outz shows how e-mail is slowly being replaces by text centric technologies. To find out more about Shout Outz, you can visit the App4that Solutions website at http://www.app4thatsolutions.com.

About App4that Solutions/Shout Outz:
An application software company, App4that Solutions is devoted to improving the way non-business and businesses communicate using the latest mobile technologies. Shout Outz, a public offering, is also available for businesses as a customizable solution. Branding is available for the product.

Fastest Growing Kids Chore Site, My Job Chart, Launches Mobile Apps

The 311,000 Current Members, plus the 500+ Members Who Join Daily, Can Now Track what they Save, Share and Spend On the Go

Scottsdale, Ariz, February 26, 2013 – Answering the demand from its more than 311,000 users, My Job Chart now offers Apple and Android mobile apps, allowing parents and kids the opportunity to save, share and spend from anywhere. Mobile access to MyJobChart.com gives parents the opportunity to teach their kids financial responsibility and personal accountability throughout the day. The fastest growing online chore chart created the free apps for Apple iPhones, iPads and Android phones and tablets. A new mobile site is also available at m.myjobchart.com. With more than 500 new members joining daily, these apps allow this growing community to personalize chores, set up rewards and cash in points anytime, anywhere.

“Going mobile for My Job Chart makes perfect sense because users can access chore charts and rewards on the fly instead of having to wait until they get back to their computer,” said Gregg Murset, father of six and CEO and founder of My Job Chart. “Let’s face it, most family activities happen when we’re away from our desks. We really think our members will enjoy the ease and convenience of the new apps.”

Murset started My Job Chart in February 2010 as a solution for his family. In January 2011, a new site, with the capacity to help millions of users, launched with 50,000 members. Now, two years later, the member base has grown 500%, adding a quarter of a million people in less than 24 months.

“We’ve tackled one thing at a time to make sure users have a seamless and enjoyable experience when they use My Job Chart,” said Trevyn Meyer, Lead Software Engineer for My Job Chart. “With hundreds of members joining daily, we have been fielding a rising number of requests for mobility; these apps deliver freedom and usability, while still offering all the features of the traditional site.”

My Job Chart gives parents and their children a free way to personalize a chores and reward system. Since its inception, kids have completed more than 13.6 million jobs, earning 151 million points, which equals an earning power of $1.51 million.

As kids complete chores, My Job Chart keeps track of their earned points that they can save, share or spend. The site allows parents to set up bank accounts to teach the importance of saving; enables kids to share by donating to one of many charitable organizations, such as Heifer International and Operation Smile; and offers access to an integrated Amazon.com store where parents can purchase reward items or help kids learn responsible spending. The site doesn’t require financial incentives and parents can also create free rewards, such as a day at the park, a favorite meal or a family bike ride.

To download the app, search for My Job Chart in the app store on your mobile device or go to www.myjobchart.com/mobile_apps.
