Utica, MS (USA), June 25th, 2017 — Poetry speaks to the heart, rhyming words that cut right to what is most important in life and first time author Jacqueline Miller Brown has captured that spirit in her book “Tending My Garden.” Her faith and trust in God’s love is abundantly clear in each poem whether she speaks of family love or the trials of life. “I have been writing poetry since elementary school,” said Jacqueline Miller Brown. “Poetry comes naturally to me and I find it is the easiest way for me to convey the many blessing that God has provided throughout my life. The “Landscapes” exhibition opened on January 1st and featured awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography.

For this competition artists and photographers worldwide were encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of natural scenery and the physical elements of landforms such as mountains, hills, valleys, deserts, farmland, trees, rivers, lakes, ponds, forests, wilderness, polar regions, rainforests, islands and tropical landscapes. The work could range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit.

The Best in Show winners are Victor Schiro for his oil on canvas, “Song Dog Ranch Arroyo” and Kyle Stanley for his digital photograph, “Setting of the Supermoon.”

Both Victor and Kyle are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of January 2017 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 2nd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2017.

Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is now accepting submissions for “Waterscapes,” its September 2016 international online juried art exhibition.

Palm Springs, CA, USA — Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is now accepting submissions for “Waterscapes,” its September 2016 international online juried art exhibition.

For this competition artists and photographers worldwide are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of Waterscapes. The Waterscapes theme includes any art or photography which depicts any type of body of water including the ocean, lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, etc. The theme includes coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas, beaches, and any related seashore or lakeside subjects. It can also include rain, puddles and frozen waterscapes. The artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.

The competition is open to artists worldwide and all artists and photographers, regardless of location or experience level, are encouraged to participate. Cash prizes will be awarded in two categories – “Traditional” Art and “Digital Art & Photography” and the Best in Show winners receive an invitation to participate in Fusion Art’s group exhibition in Palm Springs, CA in November 2016. This is the last competition that will qualify for the November 2016 group exhibition. The deadline to apply is August 27, 2016.

Each month Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in 70+ press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.

Palm Springs, CA, USA — Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its February 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition.

Opening on February 1, 2016, the “Animal Kingdom” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Photography & Digital Art. The Best in Show winners include Dionne Ho for her watercolor on cold pressed paper, “A Hunter’s Glare”, and Jean Burnett for her digital art from photography on canvas, “Two x Two.”

Both Dionne and Jean are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of February 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Animal Kingdom” award winners include Second Place winners, David Hoque, for his colored pencil on suede, “Seamus” and Youri Chasov, for his digital painting, “Puma.” Third Place awards were given to Benjamin Williams for his, acrylic on canvas, “Home at Last” and Margarita Bourkova for her, digital painting, “TicTac.”

The “Animal Kingdom” competition received entries from artists in over ten countries including the US, Canada, Singapore, England, China, Belgium, Bulgaria, Israel, Estonia and France. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until February 29, 2016.
