Three FREE Kindle Promotional Days for: The Adventures of Anna series for children 2 to 4

The Adventures of Anna … at the Zoo (June 3, Monday) and The Adventures of Anna … at the Aquarium (June 2, 3, 4 – Sunday/Monday/Tuesday)

Baton Rouge, LA, June 01, 2013 – Three (3) FREE Kindle Promotional Days for: The Adventures of Anna series for children 2 to 4, is an exciting and intriguingly different take on family trips to the Zoo and Aquarium that both the child and parent will enjoy reading over and over in the cool comfort of home.

The Adventures of Anna … at the Zoo (June 3, Monday) and The Adventures of Anna … at the Aquarium (June 2, 3, 4 – Sunday/Monday/Tuesday)

These are educational and informative books for children but that parents will enjoy as well. There are many beautiful, engaging and appealing pictures intermingled with the text in a very non-traditional and intriguing format that immediately catches the reader’s attention.

The story is further highlighted with exciting, little-known facts about animals that you would not necessarily learn at a real trip to the zoo or aquarium.

For instance, the word giraffe means camel plus leopard (a big tall camel with spots), that camels eat fish, and that zebra’s stripes are like fingerprints (none are alike).

Or, there are jellyfish that look like cauliflower, broccoli, and fireworks! And, the more poisonous a South American Rainforest frog is, the more colorful!

One reviewer wrote:
“I loved the story of Anna …. The way the pictures were intermingled with the text was very appealing. The pictures were extremely well done and fit the story very well. I can’t believe how much I learned from a children’s book …

The Chainmakers Now on Kindle

Helen Spring’s novel now available at a low price.

Wirral, UK, March 10, 2011 — Helen Spring’s novel, ‘The Chainmakers’ has just been put on Kindle at a very low price. If you haven’t already read it, take advantage of this new format, it’s a gripping yarn.

Prefer the feel of a paperback? You can get it from Helen’s website http://www.helenspring.co.uk, where you can also sample a ‘quick dip’, but of course you’ll pay more…. this is a glimpse of the story….

Against a backcloth of the blistering heat and grinding poverty of the chainshops of the Black Country, this compelling love story charts the struggle of young Anna Gibson to forge a new life from the remnants of betrayal by her lover, and a tragic marriage of convenience.

A simple offer of work as an artists’ model proves to be the catalyst for complete change, taking Anna from the sunny beaches and liberal attitudes of an artists’ colony in Brittany, to the struggle to survive and make good in the immigrant community of downtown New York.

The lessons learned along the way serve Anna well, and she finds herself still making chains, but this time chains of restaurants, leading to wealth if not happiness. Then comes Prohibition, and Anna’s decisions involve her in a gangland feud which threatens her family and friends in a frightening web of intrigue and violence.

In the struggle to resolve her moral dilemma, Anna travels home to England, seeking to redefine the dreams of her youth. During her sad awakening to reality she discovers that the only chains to stand the stresses of time are the links of family and friendship, in which she has been extraordinarily lucky.

About the Author:
Helen Spring was born in the Black Country, in the industrial Midlands of England, like her parents and grandparents before her, and she still has many friends and relatives there.

After many successful years in business, Helen switched careers to concentrate on writing fiction. She now lives on the Wirral, where she is working on a sequel to ‘The Chainmakers’.
