Boston, MA, Thursday – August 25, 2011 — Secure document sharing must reduce risk, remain in compliance with security mandates and ensure adherence with governance policy. Marty Meyer Takes CEO Reins.

VirtoSoftware is happy to announce the launch of a new product. VirtoCommerce is a new highly scalable platform for building Software as a Service (SaaS) ecommerce solutions designed for Azure Cloud. We’re inviting all our clients to learn about our new product, try the first demo version of VirtoCommerce, give comments and share their ideas.

The new ecommerce platform by VirtoSoftware is designed to provide a variety of tools for running a successful ecommerce web site, allowing you to concentrate on business instead of IT and infrastructure. With a full-featured web store in combination with customizable website building and hosting capabilities, VirtoCommerce provides a base for developing and managing online business with multiple sales channels, websites and regions. VirtoCommerce provides the customer-specific process, catalog, pricing, marketing and billing capabilities that can be used for launching separate B2B, B2C or B2B2C ecommerce websites with their own pricing schemes, content, promotions and purchase rules.

The integration with SharePoint will be the main focus of VirtoCommerce presentation at the annual Microsoft SharePoint Conference which will be held in Anaheim, California this coming October 3-6.
