Future Electronics Promotes Intelligent 9-Axis Absolute Orientation Sensor from Bosch

Pointe Claire, Quebec (realtimepressrelease) March 4, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently announced immediate availability of Bosch’s DI-BNO055 intelligent 9-axis absolute orientation sensor.

The BNO055 from Bosch is a System in Package (SiP) intelligent 9-axis “Absolute Orientation Sensor” integrating a triaxial 14-bit accelerometer, a triaxial 16-bit gyroscope with a range of ±2000° per second, a triaxial geomagnetic sensor and a 32-bit microcontroller running the Bosch BSX3.0 FusionLib software.

At just 5.2 x 3.8 x 1.1mm³, it is significantly smaller than comparable discrete or system-on-board solutions. For optimum system integration, the BNO055 is equipped with digital bi-directional I2C and UART interfaces.
