Tampa, FL, Aug 15, 2013 – The Cyclone Jump Rope Cable is a new product from Jump Rope Jack, a company dedicated to health and fitness. Released earlier this year, these jump ropes are slim, lightweight and portable. The clever design with adjustable cable length and strong handles ensures that the Cyclone Jump Rope Cable can be used by anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Using this high quality jump rope is the perfect way to cleanse the body of toxins and stay fit and healthy.

Many people are unaware of the importance of the lymphatic system and how to properly support this vital body function. The lymphatic system is a specialized network of lymph vessels that transports lymph, a colorless fluid containing white blood cells. Lymph is carried throughout the body to eliminate waste, toxins and other undesirable elements. The lymphatic system is essentially a pathway to help the immune system stay healthy and safeguard against disease and premature aging.

A strong lymphatic system supports vitality and well-being. However, the problem is that many people have an under-functioning lymphatic system. This is because unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump and relies on exercise to work properly. Aerobic exercise is perfect for optimizing lymphatic performance.

Regularly using the Cyclone Jump Rope Cable is an excellent way to cleanse and detoxify the body. Exercising with the jump rope immediately boosts the circulation of lymph throughout the body, removing toxins and purifying the body. It only takes 5 minutes a day of using the Cyclone Jump Rope Cable to help support a strong lymphatic system and a healthy body.

For a limited time, customers can purchase the Cyclone Jump Rope Cable at a discount rate using an exclusive COUPON CODE. Just click on COUPON CODE. With a LIFE-TIME money back guarantee, customers can rest assured that this product is top quality; otherwise they can expect a full refund. Taking better care of the body can be as simple as using the Cyclone Jump Rope Cable daily.

The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums were specifically designed as a “one-stop” program to add the top 5 non-insurance based medical treatments to a practice, or to start a new medspa. Today, the IAPAM announces the fall 2013 dates for its respected Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums.

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (August 12, 2013) — With the impending reductions in insurance reimbursements in the US, it is more important than ever to educate physicians on the benefits of adding concierge medicine modalities to their practice. Physician need to offer cash-based procedures coupled with a weight loss program to achieve financial success.

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) reported that “surgical procedures grew only by 1% in 2012, but non-surgical treatments, such as botox, dermal fillers and chemical peels grew by 6%.” Therefore, physicians considering the launch of a medspa are making a wise business decision. The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine’s (IAPAM) Aesthetic Medicine Symposium is designed by physicians for physicians to assist in adding aesthetic medicine modalities, including botox, to an existing practice, or launching a medical spa. This 2 day educational event showcases the most important clinical and business aesthetic medicine training. Physicians who complete the IAPAM’s Symposium have a competitive advantage.

Over 950 physicians, as well as their medspa managers, registered nurses, and assistants, have attended the IAPAM’s hands-on Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums and hCG Training seminars. The fall dates have been announced for the Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona:

September 14-15, 2013
October 26-27, 2013
December 7-8, 2013

A preview of the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox training can be viewed on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of-jMxVNLOY.

The Symposium provides physicians:

– dedicated instruction from board-certified dermatologists, who are true experts of the skin and cosmetic injectables.
– hands-on practice in the best injection techniques.
– botox training at a multi-million dollar medical practice, not in a hotel room.
– an environment that does not allow exhibitors, giving doctors more time for education.
– the opportunity to attend the Symposium’s Aesthetic Practice Startup Business Workshop on the Monday after each Symposium, a program highlighting the latest information on medspa business development and social media marketing as taught by Harvard Business School.
– the opportunity to attend the IAPAM’s Clean Start hCG for Weight Loss Program on the Friday before each Symposium, which covers hCG for weight loss, prescription appetite suppressants, ketogenic diet based programs, meal replacements and B6/12 injections.

Dates for the upcoming Clean Start hCG for Weight Loss Training, in Scottsdale, Arizona, have also been announced:

September 13, 2013
October 25, 2013
December 6, 2013

Red Cross Suppresses Controversial Malaria Cure

Leaked Video Contains Glowing Statements by RC Officials.

New York, NY, USA (August 10, 2013) — A simple and inexpensive malaria cure discovered in 1996 was finally tested in December 2012 by the Uganda Red Cross (URC) and the Water Reference Center (WRC), an affiliated organization of the Red Cross. 154 malaria positive patients were malaria negative within 24-48 hours-with no side effects. Participants were under a verbal non-disclosure agreement, including Jim Humble, the man who discovered the cure. After 5 months of being repeatedly told to keep quiet, Humble concluded the test results would never be made public and instructed his associates to release an amateur video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lzPpZ_9vl0) of the test over the objections of the WRC.

One week later, the International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) posted a statement (http://www.ifrc.org/en/news-and-media/opinions-and-positions/opinion-pieces/2013/ifrc-strongly-dissociates-from-the-claim-of-a-miracle-solution-to-defeat-malaria) on their website strongly dissociating themselves from a “miracle solution to defeat malaria” and that there was no “clinical trial.” Shortly after, the WRC posted virtually the same statement (http://waterreferencecenter.com/blog) on their website.

In late June 2013, Leo Koehof, an associate of Humble and also the one who trained the Red Cross staff in Uganda on the treatment protocol, was informed that a professionally produced video of the test was hidden on YouTube. He was provided the link and had it downloaded immediately before it could be completely suppressed. The video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrwZN1cPfX8) was rereleased on July 1, 2013 along with statements by Humble and Koehof. The leaked video clearly describes how the test was performed and includes glowing statements of the results by the Red Cross staff, and how they had never seen anything work so well and so fast. The video was narrated by Klaas Proesmans, the founder and CEO of the WRC, who concluded the video with this statement: “We closed the operation to report back to the Secretary General here in Uganda Red Cross Society. And, to report back to the Water Resource Center about the results of this field test. Now, all in all… a 100% cured people… less than 5 days… all within 24 hours to 48 hours! That asks for further investigation.”

The IFRC’s statement includes this sentence: “Malaria affects 219 million people every year, killing a child somewhere in the world every minute.” Clearly, the cover-up by the IFRC contributes to this very serious problem they themselves point out. If recent news reports of the development of an anti-malaria vaccine are correct, then some progress is being made. However, those already infected with malaria are not helped at all and continue to die. Additionally, the FDA has warned that Lariam, a common anti-malaria drug, has dangerous side-effects.

Additional unpublished video footage has surfaced along with the existence of months of correspondence that supports the preparation of the test and the subsequent attempts to keep the results quiet.

Jim Humble’s claim of a malaria cure has been maligned by supposed experts online for years. The positive results of the Uganda test now puts into question the motives of those so called experts.

ADS Debuts Comprehensive Primary Care (CPC) Initiative MedicsDocAssistant™ EHR Dashboard

ADS Positions Woodbridge Medical Associates for CPC Initiative Success.

Paramus, NJ, USA (July 24, 2013) — Advanced Data Systems (ADS) announces an innovative Comprehensive Primary Care (CPC) initiative dashboard for its MedicsDocAssistant electronic health record (EHR) system that automates reporting for reimbursements through Medicare’s CPC initiative program. CPC offers financial incentives to primary care practices in designated states and regions that meet criteria for enhanced care coordination. The ADS dashboard automatically tracks and reports on all required criteria needed by the practice to achieve CPC initiative compliance.

Lillian Greco, practice administrator for Woodbridge Medical Associates (WMA) (Woodbridge, NJ) and an early dashboard user notes, “The ADS built-in CPC initiative dashboard is extremely well thought-out and valuable. It is helping us track CPC initiative requirements effortlessly and today, we are well positioned for CPC initiative success. I am very familiar with the marketplace and have not seen many other systems with MedicsDocAssistant’s CPC capabilities.”

Ms. Greco notes that all four of WMA’s physicians received Stage 1 Meaningful Use (MU) Medicare incentives using the MedicsDocAssistant EHR. Unlike MU requirements which apply to individual physician reporting, the CPC initiative requires practice-wide reporting, making compliance significantly more complex.

WMA has been a MedicsDocAssistant EHR user since 2006. The practice also uses the Medics practice management (PM) system from ADS for billing, EDI, scheduling and reporting. “The EHR and PM from ADS operate as a single, unified solution covering WMA’s business and clinical requirements,” noted Ms. Greco. “Our practice also used MedicsDocAssistant EHR to attain NCQA-recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home.”

“Primary care practices that are interested in the CPC initiative, or those that are having difficulties in doing so with their current EHR, should consider MedicsDocAssistant EHR. It is an excellent system for capturing and reporting Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) for both the Meaningful Use (MU) program and the CPC Initiative,” Ms. Greco said.

David Barzillai, President of ADS, said, “It is gratifying to know that WMA, which is a very progressive practice as evidenced by their desire to become compliant with the CPC initiative and by their PCMH status, has been able to use systems from ADS to help achieve both. We congratulate WMA and consider it a privilege to be working with them as their automation solutions provider.”

Over 30,000 providers rely on interoperable systems from ADS.

Woodbridge Medical Associates, P.A. (WMA) was founded in 1954 with the goal of providing high quality medical care to the Woodbridge community. The group has since grown into one of the busiest internal medicine practices in the area. WMA offers medical care in general internal medicine and gastroenterology and has received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). WMA is constantly seeking the most advanced medical techniques to best serve its patients’ needs. WMA’s physicians are on staff at JFK Medical Center and the Perth Amboy division of the Raritan Bay Medical Center. WMA can be contacted by calling 732-634-0036 or by emailing info@woodbridgemed.com.

About Advanced Data Systems (ADS): Since 1977, ADS has been a leading provider of automation solutions to medical practices of every size and specialty, to imaging centers, and to revenue cycle management companies. The Company’s Medics solutions include the MedicsDocAssistant EHR (ONC-ATCB Certified by Drummond Group© as a complete EHR for Stage 1 Meaningful Use), MedicsPremier and MedicsElite for comprehensive PM, and MedicsRIS for radiology. Disordered Eating Behaviors, Intentional and Unintentional, Can Heighten Women’s Risk for Fertility Challenges

Eating Recovery Center shares advice to help women recognize and address eating and exercise behaviors that may be contributing to fertility issues

Denver, CO, July 11, 2013 – Women seeking answers to fertility challenges frequently look to reproductive issues as the primary source of problems. However, few women are aware that their own eating or exercise behaviors – past or current – may actually be a contributing factor in their inability to conceive. Eating Recovery Center, an international center providing comprehensive treatment for eating disorders, often observes women seeking eating disorders treatment after unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant. For this reason, Eating Recovery Center urges women to evaluate their patterns of eating and exercise for possible disordered behaviors before making the decision to start – or expand – a family.

Studies confirm the unfortunate connection between eating disorders and fertility issues. A 2000 survey of women attending a fertility clinic revealed that among women with irregular or absent menstrual periods, 58 percent had an eating disorder. Furthermore, none of these women volunteered this information without prompting. Another study featured in the journal Fertility and Sterility looked at a group of women with unexplained infertility who restricted calories for vanity reasons, but did not meet the criteria for an eating disorders diagnosis. When these women increased their body weight and caloric intake, 73 percent of them quickly conceived.

“An active eating disorder can significantly impair a woman’s ability to conceive, as can unhealthy behaviors including starving, bingeing, purging or over exercising that may have occurred over prolonged periods of time in the past,” said Ken Weiner, MD, FAED, CEDS, founding partner and chief executive officer of Eating Recovery Center. “Despite the clear connection between eating disordered behaviors and infertility illustrated by the research in the field, many women struggling to get pregnant hide their disordered eating behaviors – past or present – from their OB-GYNs and fertility specialists.”

As such, Eating Recovery Center offers the following guidance to help women who may be struggling with infertility and eating disorders to understand the impact of disordered eating behaviors on their ability to conceive and seek appropriate treatment.

1. Consult with a doctor before changing diet or exercise behaviors. Many women make changes to their diet and exercise patterns in an effort to be healthier while trying to conceive. However, if women have a family history of eating disorders or a personal history of disordered eating, these seemingly healthful changes could trigger disordered eating behaviors for those with a genetic predisposition toward developing an eating disorder.

2. Understand that regular or absent menstrual periods may indicate that eating or exercise behaviors are adversely impacting the natural body cycles that support conception. Although irregular or absent menstruation can be caused by a variety of factors not related to diet, weight or exercise, restricting calories or excessive exercising behaviors may play a role in irregular menstruation and contribute to fertility challenges. Additionally, it is important to understand that eating or exercise behaviors can impact the menstrual cycles of women even if they are of normal or healthy weight. Many people mistakenly believe that women must have experienced significant weight loss and/or be of very low weight for irregular or absent periods to occur.

3. Ask an expert. Concerns about eating or exercise behaviors and the possible impact of these behaviors on fertility should be directed to an OB-GYN, fertility specialist, family doctor, therapist, dietitian or eating disorders specialist. These healthcare professionals can help women determine whether behaviors may be fertility-impeding, as well as identify an appropriate course of treatment if necessary. Remember that healthcare professionals need all relevant information to make accurate diagnoses and help their patients.

4. Be honest about eating disordered behaviors. While an active eating disorder cannot only lead to infertility, it can also contribute to miscarriage, low birth weight and other dangerous complications for mother and child upon becoming pregnant. Therapeutic intervention and medical monitoring can be integral components in supporting healthy pregnancies for individuals that are able to conceive.

“It is incredibly important that women be transparent regarding their eating disorders struggles in order for reproductive healthcare professionals to effectively diagnose fertility issues and prescribe a treatment plan that meets each individual’s unique needs,” added Dr. Weiner. “Because eating disorders are often shrouded in shame and secrecy, it is equally important that healthcare providers be aware of the connection between eating disorders and fertility, and that they learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of eating disorders in their patients.”

ADS MedicsConnect™ Automates Transmission of Radiology Reports for Easy Upload to Any EHR

New Advanced Data Systems’ Tool Speeds Electronic Exam Results to Referring Physicians in Vendor Agnostic Format.

Paramus, NJ (July 9, 2013) — Advanced Data Systems (ADS) introduces MedicsConnect, an innovative new tool that automatically transmits radiology reports to referring physicians in a vendor agnostic HL7 format compatible with any electronic health record (EHR) system. The new technology eliminates the need for implementing multiple costly, customized HL7 interfaces, representing a potential cost savings of tens of thousands of dollars for radiologists. Working conveniently from within a radiology information system (RIS), the unique application transmits reports over the Internet to a medical practice’s static IP address using secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) to ensure data safety. Referring physicians can configure their EMRs to automatically download the data to the appropriate patient file.

MedicsConnect supports a radiology practice’s marketing efforts by providing an important extra level of customer service. Reliably and seamlessly, it offers referring physicians convenient access to reports, while eliminating the costs to radiologists of implementing customized HL7 interfaces to accept inbound data at key referrers.

“Hartsdale Diagnostic Imaging has been relying on the radiology solutions from ADS for years for comprehensive, easy-to-use automation tools for management, financials, and radiology EHR. Now with MedicsConnect, we have greatly solidified our referring physicians with its ability to deliver our radiology reports directly to their EHRs,” says user Joseph Casoria, Practice Administrator, Hartsdale Diagnostic Imaging in Hartsdale, NY.

According to David Barzillai, President of ADS, “MedicsConnect is almost effortless from the radiologist’s point of view. In just a few mouse clicks, completed reports are transmitted with the highest level of security in a format any referring physician’s system can read and archive. Finally, sharing electronic radiology reports really is that simple.”

Barzillai points out that with MedicsConnect, communicating electronic reports is as streamlined as faxing and as important a development as automated faxing was 25 years ago. The innovative tool makes it practical and cost-effective for radiologists to provide all the advantages of EHR-compatible radiology reports to referring practices of any size, even to independent practitioners.

MedicsConnect comes integrated into the ADS MedicsRIS™ and is also available as a stand-alone application for integration into any radiology practice’s RIS solution.

About Advanced Data Systems: Advanced Data Systems (ADS) is a leading provider of automation solutions to radiology and medical imaging practices of every size and scope, as well as to radiology revenue cycle management companies. ADS’ MedicsRIS™ is a powerfully comprehensive yet affordable system currently integrated with numerous PACS. Using the company’s MedicsDocAssistant™ EHR for Radiology, a large number of radiologists have obtained Stage 1 Stimulus Act financial incentives. The system is specifically designed to capture medical imaging-related data needed by radiology practices to achieve EHR Meaningful Use (MU). ADS provides timely implementation, comprehensive training and excellent ongoing U.S.-based customer support with updates such as ICD-10 and Stage 2 MU.

IAPAM Announces Dates for its Next Symposium with Botox Injection Training: September 14-15

The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium was specifically designed as a “one-stop” program to add non-insurance based medical procedures to a practice, or to start a new medspa. Today, the IAPAM announces the dates for its next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona: September 14-15, 2013.

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – July 4, 2013 — With all the talk of Obamacare and reductions in insurance reimbursements in the US among physicians, it is more important than ever to educate physicians that they cannot just offer botox if they want to make money. They need to offer all the top 5 minimally-invasive procedures coupled with a weight loss program.

The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium was designed to give physicians all the information, forms, DVDs, hands-on training, etc. that they need to begin offering aesthetics when they finish the conference. As well, it is important to understand that botox is not a profit centre, just a gateway to make money with other aesthetic procedures. Only the IAPAM’s Symposium teaches physicians about this principle….. no one else is offering this competitive intelligence.

Indeed, while this is nothing new, but offering non-insurance based procedures is more on the top of the minds to physicians lately, and the IAPAM understands this. The IAPAM is the only complete program that offers:

– An Accelerated program; physicians and their staff can be certified over a weekend;
– 19 training DVD’s to take back to one’s practice;
– Board certified Dermatologists as instructors;
– Internationally recognized Certification;
– CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits;
– 1 Year practice support (continues as long as a member); and much, much, more!

“More patients are turning to the more inexpensive non-invasive procedures rather than surgical cosmetic procedures,” says Jeff Russell, Executive Director of the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (http://www.iapam.com). “They may not get the long term benefits of a face lift, but with a combination treatment of botox and dermal fillers, then can get a great result at a fraction of the price.”

For more information on the IAPAM’s September 14-15 Symposium with Botox Training, watch this comprehensive video at http://youtu.be/bBQlS0CpOvw or to register for the September Aesthetic Medicine Symposium on September 14-15, 2013, please contact the IAPAM, at 1-800-219-5108 ext. 704, or visit http://iapam.com/aesthetic-medicine-symposium-botox-training.

Denver, CO, June 05, 2013 – In an effort to build a health insurance model that helps its members be sustainably healthy, Colorado HealthOP, Colorado’s first statewide nonprofit health insurance cooperative (CO-OP), has engaged a leading expert in family medicine and rural health as its new chief medical officer. Jack Westfall, MD, MPH, will lead Colorado HealthOP’s efforts to support member health needs by building a robust statewide network of care, developing Colorado HealthOP’s integrated care model and population health programs, and optimizing the CO-OP’s clinical effectiveness.

“The aspiration to partner with patients and providers around improving health is a key concept of the CO-OP,” said Julia Hutchins, CEO of Colorado HealthOP. “Dr. Westfall’s expertise in family medicine, preventive care and rural health coupled with his experience in community health promotion will allow us to make this idea a reality for our members.”

Colorado HealthOP offers quality, affordable Colorado insurance plans to residents of the state, with a special focus on rural areas. As the CO-OP’s chief medical officer, Dr. Westfall will lead the development of a new model for promoting health. While insurance companies have historically provided support for when people are ill, Colorado HealthOP, led by Dr. Westfall, will build an environment that not only provides “sick care,” but also supports healthy living. In an effort to optimize Colorado HealthOP’s potential to be an enabler of health rather than a barrier to care, Dr. Westfall will work with healthcare providers to maximize quality of care and minimize bureaucracy associated with claims. He will additionally lend his expertise to the CO-OP’s benefit design to ensure that the benefit structure supports prevention and health maintenance.

“Colorado HealthOP is building a collaboration among the group that pays, the group that provides and the patient who needs healthcare; these three groups that have historically worked separately and at odds with one another now work together in our model,” said Dr. Westfall. “In Colorado HealthOP’s model, we will take existing concepts and constructs that have been shown to support health, pull them together into one organization and implement them in Colorado.“

Dr. Westfall serves as clinical professor of family medicine for the University of Colorado School of Medicine, an institution where he has held multiple teaching appointments since 1995, served as associate dean for rural health from 2004 to 2013, and was the Patrick and Kathleen Thompson endowed chair in rural health from 2008 to 2013. Board certified in family practice, Dr. Westfall has served as a family physician at the Yuma Clinic in Yuma, Colo., at Plains Medical Center in Limon, Colo. and for Rose Family Medicine in Denver. He is the founder and director of the High Plains Research Network, a practice and community based network that aims to improve health in eastern Colorado. He has also served as director of community engagement for the Colorado Clinical Translational Science Institute, a collaboration among the University of Colorado Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, and multiple healthcare and community organizations with a goal to accelerate the application of research into improved patient care and public health.

Dr. Westfall is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, the American Public Health Association, the Colorado Public Health Association, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Colorado Rural Health Center and the National Rural Health Association.

Among other awards, Dr. Westfall has received the Chancellor’s Diversity Award from the University of Colorado Denver and the North American Primary Care Research Group President’s Award.

Dr. Westfall received his doctorate and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Kansas. He completed his internship in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education and completed his residency at the University of Colorado, Department of Family Medicine, where he also served as chief resident.
