Most Eagerly Awaited Annual Event Since 2004 – the “11th China Products Exhibition” To Boost Manufacturing And Trading Opportunities For Indian Entrepreneurs

* Chinese and Hong Kong companies from more than 40 sectors to come to Mumbai with a variety of industrial and consumer products. * Style Hong Kong Pavilion will be an added attraction.

Mumbai, India, October 28th, 2013 — Being organized since 2004, the 11th edition of “China Products (Mumbai, India) Exhibition” will take place from 26th – 28th November, 2013 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East), Mumbai, India. The longest running China Exhibition in India and also the definitive international sourcing platform for Indian business enterprises, this unique trade expo showcases more than 40 industries and verticals. The 11th China Products Exhibition will have an added attraction in the form of a Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) pavilion where companies from Hong Kong will showcase their range of stylish and contemporary products. Providing complimentary business matching services, the Exhibition assists Indian businesses in meeting their future business partners from China and Hong Kong.

The current edition is covering an extensive range of products across a wide section of industries like consumer electronics & durables, home appliances, fashion jewellery & accessories, machinery, machine tools, mechanical & electrical equipment & parts, power tillers, hydraulic equipment, grinding products, UPVC doors, wallpaper, medical equipment, traditional Chinese medicine, ceramic products, food & beverages, toys, LED products, silk, leather, fibres & yarns.

Powering Indian entrepreneurs to succeed for the 11th consecutive year, the Exhibition will help Indian enterprises source machinery and components from China – providing quality products at lower rates and logistics costs – thus bringing down manufacturing costs. Additionally, Indian traders, importers and distributors can source an extensive range of consumer products at more affordable prices for the burgeoning retail industry.

Despite the global and local scenario, the Indian economy is growing due to strong domestic consumption. With a rising middle class population expected to reach 267 million by 2015-16, as well as the world’s youngest population, the consumption pattern is expected to shift from food items to discretionary spending. The show offers an excellent opportunity for brands and companies to develop businesses in the areas of services and manufacturing along with the growing consumer market. India is also home to 48.8 million SMEs and 5 thousand large enterprises. This in itself is a huge potential market for companies to service the SME market owing to increasing need for efficiency and collaboration.

The trade show is being organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Guangdong Provincial Committee, Sub-councils of Commercial Industry, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Sichuan, Wuhan, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation of Guangdong Province and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute. The Exhibition is supported by the All India Association of Industries (AIAI), the India-China Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCCI), the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) and managed by Worldex India. SyndicIT Announces Nationwide IT Equipment Recycling Program Tailored for Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate Owners and Operators and Their Residents

New service promotes sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives for residential properties across the United States. Unused equipment ranging from PCs to printers to mobile devices can now be responsibly disposed of for profit or for donation to charity.

Kensington, NH, USA (October 22, 2013) — SyndicIT Services Corporation (SyndicIT) today introduced a new nationwide service for multifamily and commercial real estate customers allowing them to responsibly dispose of unused or outdated IT equipment for profit through SyndicIT’s collaboration with Hewlett-Packard’s certified recycling network. The service will be delivered to customers via an on-line portal designed for real estate owners and operators. The SyndicIT re-cycling website calculates the value of equipment a property would like to recycle and instantly generates a shipping label to send the equipment directly to Hewlett-Packard for responsible, secure re-cycling and material reuse in compliance with regulatory standards for equipment disposal.

The service is an especially valuable addition to SyndicIT’s suite of solutions for the multifamily industry who are converting to digital operations and want to demonstrate a commitment to the environment by promoting ‘paperless’ property operations. “One motto at SyndicIT is that our company strives to be ‘as green as green gets’ while delivering measurable returns on technology investments,” says Lauryn Schimmel, SyndicIT’s managing director. “As we work with our customers to refresh their IT landscape with state-of-the-art technologies for property automation, a recycling program whereby owners can responsibly dispose of old or out dated equipment is an ideal addition. Helping our customers actually get paid for the equipment they re-cycle brings cash value to difficult to dispose of unused hardware, devices, and equipment.”

SyndicIT will work with property owners across the country to establish recycling programs for their corporate divisions and property offices, as well as to design a series of ‘resident recycling days’ that will allow property owners to deliver a valuable amenity service to their residents and help them easily access a responsible recycling arrangement that delivers cash. Once equipment is assessed for value, properties and residents will have the choice of getting the rebate as a check, as an HP gift card or donate the proceeds to a charity of choice.

“Properties must grapple with increasingly mandatory local, state, and federal ordinances to responsibly dispose of unused electronics equipment. SyndicIT’s new recycling program provides property owners with a single resource to design the recycling program of their choice and to deliver the most value and remain in regulatory compliance.” Schimmel added, “And, it will be a great way to involve residents and have them participate in an environmentally-friendly community based program and event that will impact their choice and pride in the community they choose to live.”

SyndicIT brings this program to multifamily and commercial real estate customers with the backing of an established, certified, recycling infrastructure built by Hewlett-Packard. Since 1972, Hewlett-Packard has responsibly recycled 2.5 billion pounds of electronic products and supplies. This announcement marks the beginning of an initiative designed to reach millions of Americans living in rental communities today.

This is the third T5 data center to be granted LEED certification and serves as another example of the company’s commitment to maintaining environmentally responsible data centers.

T5@LA was fully commissioned in August 2012 and is a tier III-plus MEP design (mechanical, engineering, plumbing) purpose-built data center located in El Segundo near Los Angeles International Airport. The building boasts 181,489 square feet under one roof and uses Munters evaporative cooling systems mounted on the roof for a lower PUE (power usage effectiveness). The data center also has its own dedicated onsite power station and is capable of delivering 15.9 MW of critical IT load.

To qualify for LEED Silver certification, T5@LA was built using sustainable materials and is equipped with the latest energy-saving heating, cooling, and lighting systems. The data center has a 40% greater energy efficiency than competing data centers in the region and has an optimal PUE. The building also is located adjacent to the Los Angeles Metro Rail and can be easily reached via mass transit. T5@LA has already started attracting tenants, including a major transportation service operator.

“The lower our carbon footprint, the better it is for our tenants as well as the environment,” said Robbie Sovie, LEED AP, Vice President, Development for T5 Data Centers. “T5 is committed to maintaining green data centers to save our customers operating expenses at the same time we are conserving natural resources. Our goal is to ultimately receive LEED certification for all of our data center facilities as proof of our environmental commitment as green corporate citizens.”

T5’s Data Center’s T5@Atlanta and T5@Dallas facilities are also LEED Silver certified, and T5 anticipates its T5@Kings Mountain, T5@Portland, and T5@Colorado Springs projects will be LEED certified in the near future.

LEED is the foremost program for the design, construction, and operation of green buildings. Santerno Introduces New PV Power Plant Controller that Provides Single Point of Control at Solar Power International

New Power Plant Controller Reduces Cost of PV System Management By Eliminating Need for Multiple Controllers and Includes Self-tuning POI to Accommodate International Grid Codes.

Chicago, USA (October 21, 2013) — At Solar Power International this week, Santerno, the Carraro Group company that specializes in alternative energy electronics and industrial automation, will display its new Santerno PV Power Plant Controller (PPC). The Santerno PPC is a utility-scale solar power system controller that consolidates management of photovoltaic (PV) power plants, providing a single point of integrated control and monitoring.

Santerno developed its own power plant controller in order to reduce costs and expand management capability and control for its utility PV customers. The Santerno PPC is a complete control solution that provides a single access point for the plant supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) control systems, including all PV inverters, the data logger, and auxiliary services. This eliminates the need to integrate a separate management system for the solar power inverters.

The Santerno PPC also provides a single, self-tuned, modified proportional internal (PI) controller which operates at the plant level to make sure all the inverters match power grid code requirements. Unlike other systems, the Santerno PPC does not require the trial-and-error approach typically used to match standard PI regulators. The power parameters are set in advance using the plant data and the electrical characteristic data for the Point of Interconnection (POI) so it automatically matches international grid code requirements.

“As an engineering-oriented company, we are always working to develop new technology that solves our customers’ needs and delivers the highest return on investment. By developing our own Power Plant Controller we are able to consolidate management of Santerno solar inverters with other plant monitoring and SCADA systems into a single interface,” said Franco Valentini, Marketing Director of Santerno. “When you add in support from our online Web management portal, you have a complete controller solution, including remote monitoring.”

The Santerno PPC can be configured for most grid operator protocols, and is compliant with European and worldwide standards, field programmable according to local regulations. It also can be optionally configured to control static VAR compensator (SVC) or static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) at the Point of Interconnections (POI). This enables the PV plant for Extended Power Capability or Flexible AC Transmission System functions. It also has Digital Control Functions, including closed loop active power curtailment, closed look reactive power control, closed-loop POI voltage control, and P(f) curtailment control.

Santerno is displaying its new PPC at Solar Power International, booth 746. For more information, visit http://www.santerno.com.

About Santerno

Headquartered in Imola, Italy, with offices around the globe, Santerno designs and markets solar inverters and products used to produce electricity from renewable sources. Impact of Wearable Computing on Technology Marketplace at Golden Networking’s New York Conference

Building off of the momentum of past successful conferences, Golden Networking brings Wearable Computing Conference 2013 New York City (www.wearable-computing-conference.com), “Revolutionizing the Human Experience Through Next-Generation Technology”, November 7.

New York City, NY, USA (October 19, 2013) — Wearable technology is a recent development that seeks to change the outlook of the population for a new way to interact with the world, in addition to the more classical options of using a mechanical watch or large-screen computers. Wearable computing a fad? What are the long term effects of a transition to wearable technology? How will more traditional competitors be impacted and how upcoming technology wars will influence wearable computing widespread adoption?

These and other questions will be debated at Golden Networking’s Wearable Computing Conference 2013 (http://www.wearable-computing-conference.com), “Revolutionizing the Human Experience Through Next-Generation Technology”, to be held in New York City, on November 7, by a team of authorities in the field:

The history of wearable technology is influenced by both of these responses to the vision of ubiquitous computing. We are now at an inflexion point in the advancement of the adoption of wearable computing. To expand the market for wearable technologies, it is necessary for developers and manufacturers to lead the world to show how the usage of these technologies can revolutionize every aspect of the human experience
