Denver Air Conditioning Repair – Creating a Long-Term Relationship

You need to sacrifice your time and make some effort in getting the right Denver Air Conditioning Repair contractor for your household needs so as to equip your house with the right heating and cooling system. When the summer season starts in Denver, it becomes practically impossible to stay in your room without an air conditioning system. Therefore, you need to get the right Denver Air Conditioning Repair contractor to fit your house with the heating and cooling system to be used both during the winter and summer seasons.
The best way to find a contractor is to go online and look up the names of contractors who are operating in your area. Visit their website to check out the products and services that they offer and also their rates. If you decide to engage their services, be certain before they arrive is list the problems you are having so as not forget any items. This will help the contractor make certain he does not overlook anything. Remember, the contractor is the professional but you live in the house everyday and no better when something is not normal.
Similarly, you can also hire a Denver Air Conditioning Repair Contractor in the event any repair work needs to be done. This can be done at a very reasonable price. Maintenance contractors typically give the customer a discount on all repairs as well as two visits per year to make certain your system is running at optimum efficiency. Make sure that you get a reliable Denver Air Conditioning Repair Contractor to avoid wasting your time waiting for contractors who do not show up, have to make multiple trips to get the job done, and who provide poor quality workmanship. You should always look for a company committed to providing the highest level of quality service and workmanship in all HVAC services in a timely and efficient manner.

Extra-wide European Walnut Flooring in Stock for The First Time at Urbane Living

Extra-wide European walnut flooring is now available from Urbane Living

London, UK, July 03, 2012 – For the first time, customers have the opportunity to buy extra-wide engineered European walnut flooring from trusted supplier Urbane Living.

European walnut flooring is ever-popular thanks to its distinctive grain patterns and warm colour finish. Meeting growing customer demand for wider planks, Urbane Living can now offer the floorboards in widths of 240 – 500mm and lengths of 2,000 – 4,000mm as required by customers.

Adam Robertson, co-founder of Urbane Living, commented: “The unique point about these boards is that they are available for the first time with incredibly wide widths, up to 500mm wide and 2 to 4m in length.”

He added: “They are manufactured to a very high standard with the same timber on the bottom layer to act as a counter balance layer for added stability.”

Homeowners can rest assured that their floor will last too – European walnut flooring is harder than American walnut flooring, which makes it less susceptible to dents. It’s also highly sought-after for its polished finish. Opting for extra wide walnut flooring provides the additional benefit of allowing users to appreciate the grain of the wood. This varies from piece to piece but can include more natural wood with interesting knots across the surface, or a smoother dark piece of material if preferred.

Wider flooring was identified as a key interiors trend at the Dotomex 2012 exhibition – an international wood flooring trade show which was held in Hanover, Germany earlier this year. The trend for wide-plank wood flooring fits in with the increasing demand for natural, eco-friendly flooring options, which looks set to continue to grow in popularity.

The flooring is sold in 1m2 units and is priced at £140.68 ex. VAT ( £168.82 inc. VAT)

Incite Creative Named as Finalist for AMA Baltimore Marketing Excellence Award

The American Marketing Association (AMA), one of the world’s largest marketing associations, conducts an annual review of the best local marketing campaigns with demonstrable success.

Baltimore, MD, July 02, 2012 – The American Marketing Association (AMA), one of the world’s largest marketing associations, conducts an annual review of the best local marketing campaigns with demonstrable success. Incite Creative, a Baltimore-based marketing and graphic design firm that provides strategic and creative solutions to corporate and non-profit clients, was recently named by the AMA’s Baltimore chapter as a finalist for their Marketing Excellence Award.

The marketing association performed a review of Incite Creative’s work with The Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Foundation in support of the Baltimore Elementary/Middle School Library Project. This multi-million dollar, multi-year initiative works with local schools by designing, building, equipping, and staffing new or renovated school libraries to improve the reading proficiency in Baltimore’s elementary and middle schools. Incite Creative’s challenge was to create a marketing campaign to generate awareness and involvement from government officials, state agencies, heads of education, and the general public.

Before the project launched in December 2011, Incite conducted focus groups with age-appropriate children and their parents to help provide the strategy for the campaign. As a result of the feedback, Incite designed the Library Project’s multi-color logo that represents books and the urban landscape. Additional brand touch points, including print and electronic invitations, book marks, book plates, signage and support marketing materials were also created.

Among other utility, these pieces were used to generate publicity for the Book Drive, a community-wide effort to collect books during the state’s Read Across Maryland month in March. As of April, the Book Drive resulted in the collection of close to 10,000 books.

In addition to working with the Weinberg Foundation on this project, Incite Creative has a long history of successfully assisting non-profit organizations with brand development and creative services. Some other non-profits that Incite has worked with include:

Autism Society of America Baltimore/Chesapeake Chapter
By Their Side
Center for Medical Technology Policy
Moveable Feast

Tissue Banks International

“We enjoy building brands for a variety of industries, but we do hold a special place in our hearts for nonprofit organizations. In addition to feeling a sense of pride in helping them fulfill their mission, we also find that nonprofits are typically very receptive to our suggestions and grateful for our help. In an age where the workday never ends and client demands can be draining, a simple ‘thank you so much!’ or, ‘we could have never done this without you’ on the other end of the line is a welcome reminder that our work is valued and our skills are appreciated,” said Dina Wasmer, President of Incite Creative Inc.

The American Marketing Association will be holding their annual event at the American Visionary Art Museum on September 5th to announce the winners.

Metro D.C. Data Center and Design/Build Projects Quickly Demonstrate Rosendin Electric’s Quality of Service and Expertise to Metro D.C. Area Contractors.

STERLING, Va. (July 2, 2012) — The Mid-Atlantic office of Rosendin Electric, one of the nation’s largest private electrical contractors and a 100% employee-owned company, has received a 2012 Subcontractor Appreciation Award from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. The Award was presented at the Annual Subcontractor Appreciation Awards Event.

This is the third year that the AGC has presented Subcontractor Appreciation Awards. These awards are given to subcontractors in various industries for their outstanding work on construction projects throughout the metropolitan District of Columbia area. Selected by the AGC Board Members, Rosendin Electric was one of eight area electrical contractors to receive an honorable mention.

“It’s wonderful to receive the recognition from the D.C. construction community,” said Alan Linder, Division Manager for Rosendin Electric’s Virginia regional office. “Rosendin Electric is well-known and respected for quality and service as a subcontractor throughout the West, but our mid-Atlantic office just celebrated its first anniversary. Rosendin Electric’s Sam Lamonica Chosen as Finalist for 2012 Best CIO by Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times

Lamonica Singled Out for Harnessing Mobile Technology for Construction Sites and Improving Procurement Processes.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 29, 2012) — Sam Lamonica, CIO of Rosendin Electric, one of the nation’s largest private electrical contractors and a 100% employee-owned company, was named a finalist for the 2012 CIO Awards by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times. Sam was one of three finalists in the Private Company category.

The Bay Area Business Journals selected Sam because of his innovative work adapting mobile computing technology for construction and implementing new paperless supply tracking and procurement processes. Under his leadership, Rosendin Electric has been equipping field personnel with mobile technology such as smart phones and iPads and adding mobile construction solutions from vendors like Vela to provide workers remote wireless access to materials lists, blueprints, QA/QC and safety checklists, vendor data, and more. Sam also introduced a new paperless procurement system for handling orders, billing, and invoices that saved the company $80,000 in the first year. With the help of Sam’s technology initiatives, Rosendin Electric has seen a faster turnaround on construction projects, and financial savings for both the company and its clients.

In commenting on his nomination, Sam noted that the best advice he ever received was “about the importance of ‘MBWA’ (Management by Walking Away). You get out of your office, get out of your chair, get in front of your end users often and understand their needs. Be in front of them a lot. I practice that all the time, I teach it to my direct reports, and get great customer service.”

“Sam’s technological innovations have made a tremendous contribution to the ongoing success and growth of Rosendin Electric,” said Tom Sorley, the company’s CEO. “His expertise and collaborative management style make him a welcome member of our management team, and his contributions have had a real impact on our operational efficiency, our responsiveness to our partners and our clients. Sam’s positive approach continues to win the praises of his staff and peers, and we are pleased that he has received this recognition from the Business Journals as well.”

Florida Power & Light Company Partners with Food Distributor Cheney Brothers to support 300 Jobs in Southwest Florida

Florida Power & Light Company’s special discounted economic development rate will help Cheney Brothers Inc., launch a $100 million distribution center in Charlotte County that will eventually employ about 300 people when it’s fully operational.

Juno Beach, FL (June 28, 2012) — Florida Power & Light Company‘s special discounted economic development rate will help Cheney Brothers Inc., one of the largest food service distributors in the Southeastern United States, launch a $100 million distribution center in Charlotte County that will eventually employ about 300 people when it’s fully operational.

Cheney Brothers is in the process of purchasing 35 acres right off Interstate 75 in Punta Gorda, for the new facility, which will serve customers from Marco Island through the Tampa Bay area.

“We need all the help from all the partners we can get, whether it’s our customer partners or our vendor partners, like Florida Power & Light,” said Bill Foley, President of Cheney Brothers, which is headquartered in Riviera Beach, Fla.

Businesses in FPL’s service territory already benefit from electric bills that are among the very lowest in the state and well below the national average. FPL’s economic development rates provide an additional benefit to new or expanding businesses that expand their electric demand by at least 350 kilowatts and create at least 10 new jobs.

“We’re pleased to play a role in Cheney Brothers’ expansion,” said Lynn Pitts, FPL Director of Economic Development. “FPL’s economic development rate provides an incentive to companies that agree to move to Florida or expand their operations here and create new jobs for Floridians.”

“The discount we get from Florida Power & Light is essential,” Foley said. “Along with fuel, our electric bill is probably our next biggest expense that we have at Cheney Brothers. So that discount helps us out initially and in the long-run also.”

The economic development rate is designed to be an incentive that will encourage new investment and job creation in Florida. Eligible business customers receive a declining discount on their standard base energy and demand charges over four to five years.
