Fulham Extends Commitment to Safety with New Category of Emergency Lighting for New Construction or Retrofits.

Hawthorne, CA, USA — Fulham Co., Inc., a leading supplier of lighting components and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, is expanding its HotSpot line with a new category of value-added emergency lighting products that extend building safety lighting. The new EZ Exit Lighting Kit is being offered as an add-on to conventional exit signs, lighting a path to safety using add-on linear LEDs lights integrated into existing T-grid ceilings.

The new HotSpot EZ Exit EM T-grid kits are available in 24-inch (FHEZ10A24) and 48-inch (FHEZ17A48) form factors. The EZ Exit kits are designed to fit into any conventional T-grid ceilings, either as a retrofit or part of new construction. Both LED units are equipped with a HotSpot contant power driver that delivers 90 minutes of emergency power after a 24-hour charge time. The EZ Exit 24-inch unit has 10.7W of emergency output, delivering 1,480 lumens, and the 48-inch unit has a 17W output in emergency mode with 2,485 lumens.

“It’s a great honor to represent my District. I was super excited to learn that I’m the only beekeeper to receive this award but also the youngest person,” said Reisdorf, who founded Carmel Honey Co. when he was 11 years old and is currently attending Carmel High School. “I’m looking forward to meeting Assemblymember Stone in person, the other honorees and especially touring the State Capitol.”

Jake Reisdorf is the chief beekeeper and owner with his family of Carmel Honey Company, which he started as part of a school project where his teacher assigned professions to each student and directed them to research the profession and build a presentation on it.

While researching his assigned profession of website designer, Jake, 11 years old at the time, decided to take it one step further and actually create a real website. At that time, Jake had taken one beekeeping class with his Dad and thought it would be cool to design a website about honey bees.

Not only did Jake get an “A” on the project, it inspired him and spurred him to start Carmel Honey Company.

Working as a pastor, Ilene Sims has been trained to listen and watch others carefully.
