The completion of the T5@Chicago facility just seven months after beginning construction demonstrates T5’s ability to build data centers quickly and in a robust nature that appeals to the corporate enterprise. The colocation market continues to thrive in the U.S. represented by quarter over quarter leasing records posted by data center providers. Los Angeles Medical Network Selects T5@LA for Seismic Safety and Power Resilience to Ensure Continuous Uptime for Patient-critical Data Systems.

The hospital plans to migrate all data operations into T5@LA to take advantage of the purpose-built data center, seismic-hardened infrastructure, and the skilled on-site support of the T5 Facilities Management team.

Throughout the stringent selection process, several requirements needed to be met and verified by the new hospital tenant. At the top of the list, T5@LA had to be compliant with the California Seismic Safety Act, which requires all hospitals remain operational in the event of an earthquake. The deadline for compliance is January 1, 2020.

Enterprise Computing Veteran Named to Head Sales for T5 Data Centers’ New Texas Computing Facilities as Part of Growing Hyperscale Service Portfolio.

In his new role, Mitchell will be responsible for finding tenants for T5’s new facilities in the metro Dallas region and expanding sales of T5’s broader data center consulting and support services across the US, Ireland and Singapore.

Mitchell has more than 20 years of experience working with customers in enterprise data centers and telecommunications. He has extensive expertise in hosting and IaaS, cloud adoption and migration, data center managed services, and system integration, working with both Fortune 1000 companies and mid-market organizations to meet their mission-critical computing needs. T5 Data Centers Finalizes Purchase of 40-acre Site for T5@Atlanta II Data Center Campus

Property Acquisition Paves the Way for Construction of New 130,000-square-foot, Custom-built Data Center in Douglas County.

Atlanta, GA, USA — T5 Data Centers, innovators in providing secure, customizable, hyperscale computing environments for enterprise companies, today announced that the company has finalized the purchase of a new 40-acre property in Douglas County as the location for T5@Atlanta II, the company’s second data center in the Atlanta region. The land acquisition marks the first step in the construction of a new 130,000-square-foot data center, purpose-built to meet the needs of hyperscale enterprise customers.

When it is completed, the T5@Atlanta II data center will feature 10 MW of critical power load and 66,667 square feet of white floor space. The campus will benefit from redundant service from two nearby power substations, and the robust fiber telecommunications infrastructure that already services the region. The data center will be fault tolerant and engineered to withstand 185 mile-per-hour winds. T5 also plans to construct T5@Atlanta II as a LEED-certified building with air cooled mechanical chillers and a 1.32 annualized PUE.

The T5@Atlanta II campus also has sufficient space to accommodate a second data center building to be constructed at some point in the future, bringing the total capacity to 20+ MW.

The new T5@Atlanta II campus in Douglas County complements T5@Atlanta, the 105,000-square-foot flagship data center that T5 built in Alpharetta, Georgia, in 2011. This is the twelfth customizable data center to be built by T5 Data Centers, and the second data center in the Atlanta market. Atlanta also serves as the home of T5 Data Centers’ corporate headquarters.

Forsythe Data Centers Turns to T5 Facilities Management (T5FM) to Ensure Reliable Data Center Operations for New Retail+® colocation facility in Chicago area.

Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA (January 30, 2015) — T5 Facilities Management (T5FM), a T5 Data Centers company, which provides best-in-class facilities management services to data center owners across North America, today announced a new partnership with Forsythe Technology to operate its new Forsythe Data Centers Retail+® colocation facility. The Elk Grove Village, Ill. data center is on track for completion and will be open to tenants in May 2015.

With this partnership, T5FM will deliver comprehensive data center support and facilities management for Forsythe Data Centers, including staffing, training programs, operational policies, and site-specific procedures. T5FM will apply the same best practices that have been proven in operating T5’s own data center facilities in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Portland.

“This is the first step in a long-term relationship with Forsythe Technology to deliver ongoing data center facilities management services as Forsythe’s business continues to grow,” said Mike Casey, President of T5 Facilities Management. “When we launched T5FM, we had facilities like Forsythe Data Centers in mind as target clients. Forsythe Data Centers offers tenants secure, client-controllable, private suites from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet, as well as micro-suites and cabinets. The facility will also consolidate Forsythe’s multi-vendor Technology Evaluation Center, Integration and Configuration Center, and Executive Briefing Center under one roof. The new data center will use Forsythe’s new Retail+® model, which features private, hard-wall client suites like those in wholesale facilities, coupled with the flexible, modular design of retail facilities.

New T5 Facilities Management Company Adds Experienced Data Center Expert to Manage T5 West Coast Operations.

Los Angeles, CA, USA (August 6, 2014) — T5 Facilities Management (T5FM, http://www.t5datacenters.com/facilities-management), a new company launched by T5 Data Centers™, today announced the addition of John Ducic as Director, T5 Facilities Management, for T5’s west coast operations. In this position, Ducic will be responsible for managing T5 Data Centers’ western regional facilities, T5@LA and T5@Portland, as well as overseeing T5FM client data centers throughout the western region.

Ducic has more than 15 years of data center management experience and comes to T5FM from CoreSite Realty Corporation, where he served as Senior Facilities Manager. Ducic’s expertise spans all aspects of data center operations, including infrastructure design and deployment, power distribution and management, HVAC and chiller management, emergency protocols, routine system maintenance, and much more. Ducic holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
