T5 Data Centers Completes Construction of New Concurrently Maintainable, 156,000 Square Foot, Greenfield Purpose-Built Facility with 10.75 MW Capacity.

The new greenfield, purpose-built data center is tenant ready and offers the same robust construction as the balance of the T5@Dallas campus, including a dedicated data center support team. The T5@Dallas campus is located in Plano’s Legacy Business Park.

The T5@Dallas III facility is a LEED Silver certified, concurrently maintainable data center with 94,400 square feet of available data hall space and 10.75 megawatts of critical power. T5@Dallas III features a highly efficient chilled water plant for a low annualized PUE, and it offers both N+1 and 2N MEP configurations for guaranteed uptime. The new facility also will be maintained by its own dedicated T5 Facilities Management (T5FM) team.

The building itself is designed to withstand winds in excess of 221 mph (EF-5 tornado equivalent), and there are multiple redundant power feeds from two local substations. In addition, the T5@Dallas III facility can take advantage of the multiple carriers and fiber connections already serving the T5@Dallas data center campus.

Atlanta, GA, USA — T5 Data Centers (T5), innovators in providing state-of-the-art, customizable, hyperscale computing environments, and Hillwood, one of the nation’s leading real estate companies, are partnering to co-develop a data center campus within AllianceTexas, the 18,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use development in north Fort Worth. Development of the T5@Alliance data center campus is backed by IPI Data Center Partners Management, LLC (IPI Partners), which invests in data centers and other technology and connectivity-related real assets and is sponsored by ICONIQ Capital, LLC and an affiliate of Iron Point Partners, LLC.

The T5@Alliance campus is a unique scaled opportunity for the data center market. AllianceTexas has initially dedicated 350-400 acres of its infrastructure rich master plan specifically for data centers. Redundancy is one of the core reasons that data centers find AllianceTexas attractive. The development is served by two separate transmission sources, Brazos Electric Power Cooperative and Oncor, which come together at the same location to provide power independently with transmission-level redundancy. Four substations currently exist at AllianceTexas, with locations identified for multiple additional substations, which enhance redundancy opportunities for development sites. This component, combined with the fact that Texas operates on its own electrical grid, mitigates the risk that data center operations will be disrupted by power outages. The state’s deregulated electricity marketplace also makes power extremely affordable.

Multiple long-haul and domestic fiber providers are also in place throughout AllianceTexas. In addition, the development is served by water supplied by the City of Fort Worth. Lee has more than a decade of experience in data center and telecommunications sales, having worked with companies such as AT&T and BT Global Services. T5 Data Centers Signs County of Los Angeles as Newest Tenant for T5@LA Data Center Facility

County of Los Angeles Migrates from Its Own Data Center to T5@LA to take Advantage of Turnkey Infrastructure Support, Cost Savings, and Expandability.

Los Angeles, CA, USA — T5 Data Centers™ (http://www.t5datacenters.com), innovators in providing state-of-the-art, customizable and highly reliable computing support environments, has signed the County of Los Angeles as the newest tenant for the company’s T5@LA customizable data center. The County will be migrating its data center operations from its own facility to T5@LA to take advantage of the infrastructure support and cost savings offered by T5’s wholesale data center, as well as the potential for future expansion.

The LA County Board of Supervisors directed an assessment of options to replace the existing outdated data center with either a build, buy, or lease solution. After performing a cost analysis, the County determined that leasing a wholesale data center facility would offer greater flexibility and prove more cost effective than upgrading its current data center operation. After an extensive search, Los Angeles County selected T5@LA because of its secure environment, redundant power systems, and seismic reinforcement, as well as its strategic location. The T5@LA facility also fulfilled the County’s immediate operational needs, providing a ready-to-occupy location customizable to their needs with energy and water efficient environment control systems.

Four data centers – T5@Atlanta, T5@LA, T5@Dallas, and T5@Kings Mountain – have received the award for the second year in a row, demonstrating 24 months of continuous, uninterrupted operations. The company’s T5@Portland facility also received a one-year Data Center Performance Award for flawless operation since the data center became operational in June of 2015.

The Uptime Institute Network’s Data Center Performance Awards were implemented in 1998 to recognize member companies for maintaining continuous uptime of all IT equipment in their data centers. T5 Data Centers joined the Uptime Institute Network in January 2014, and since then, all of the company’s data centers have qualified for the Data Center Performance Award. T5 Data Centers has never had an unplanned outage since the company began operations in 2012.
