Linqto and Western Independent Bankers Launch New Apps Store for Banks

Community Banks Brand and Distribute High Demand Apps to Consumers. New Revenue Model for App Vendors. Community Banks can now compete with Big Banks and Win.

Now, community banks can attract new markets, develop existing customers and advertise their bank utilizing mobile device screens.

Why a WIB App Store is important

Typically, millennials do not visit a bank branch and instead discover banks using their phones. Large banks are responding. BBVA has 24 apps on the Apple Store. USBank has 43. Community banks and credit unions can only afford one app, their mobile banking app. Discoverability by non-customers is impossible since the user must be an existing customer to access the app. Linqto provides the delivery of new Fintech software as a service. The Linqto Platform creates a revolutionary new marketplace where banks can brand new software and use it with their customers. Automatically. In an online store. Community banks and credit unions can now afford to compete with the largest banks by providing customers the latest financial technology.

To meet growing consumer demand for progressive smartphone and app offerings, big banks have invested substantial resources in creating their own financial lifestyle apps, leading to increased sales and improved customer satisfaction. Community banks, however, have been marginalized by development costs resulting in an inability to disrupt the market stronghold.

Now, with this new platform offered by Western Independent Bankers, member banks can compete and win with customized applications designed to appeal to a multitude of demographics. “Western Independent Bankers has a recognizable name and large footprint with community banks,” said Bill Sarris, CEO of Linqto. “Via this strategic partnership with WIB and WIB Service Corporation, more than 800 community banks will have “storefront” access to the latest Fintech apps. We can bring brand loyalty and market share to these banks through the Linqto Platform.”

Linqto will deliver the WIB App Store through its automated delivery platform. The Linqto Software Delivery Platform allows financial institutions to choose the latest high-demand Fintech apps from a digital storefront and within minutes, the app is uniquely branded with the bank’s name and logo. That app is then immediately available for internal bank testing and, upon completion, is automatically distributed to the major app stores, Apple and Google. With a process that is expeditious and fully automated, the WIB App Store also offers a collection of non-Fintech lifestyle apps that are rapidly gaining popularity with the millennial generation.

“All of our banks want to appeal to the digital generation and develop customer loyalty through service and innovation,” said WIB President & CEO Michael Delucchi. “By using the WIB App Store, banks can now transform the customer experience without the white-label and branding costs that have traditionally kept them confined to the standard banking transaction app. There is a framework of opportunity here, and we’re excited to see our members take advantage of it.”

Emotions: Analyze & Report System for Emails and Voice Chat

A system that would add a new dimension to emails & voice chat.

Chennai, India, September 21, 2010 — Emotions: Analyze & Report System (EARS)© is scheduled for launch by the India based software company, Owtsar Technologies. The EAR System, would act as a silent listner with ‘iCube Office‘ emails and voice chat. When stress related emotions disturb communications between two persons, the system would deliver a soothing alert alongwith usable data, to enable the user to consider rephrasing the mail or speech.

“Computer Systems hitherto have only addressed the physical aspect in all human to human transactions. Be it mails, chat, emoticons whatever, they do not address the spiritual/emotional state of the user,” said Mr. Samuel Martyn, CEO of Owtsar Technologies. “We have developed EARS© specifically to address this aspect and by doing so have introduced a new dimension to enterprise and personal computing.”

When asked what uses EARS© would bring to Enterprise & Personal Computing, Mr. Martyn replied that providing a facility to listen to the emotions of the User is an innovative tool in itself with greater ramifications. In a stressed out situation a staff can vent his feelings on a customer, for which he may regret later. But the damage would have been done and it would take a lot of effort to undo it. EARS© would detect such a situation and alert the user to reconsider the sentence or conversation. It would also highlight the contacts history, such as period, business done in the past, expectations in the future with any photo, if available. This would certainly provide an opportunity for the user to calm down and get back to normal mood. Similar methods would be useful in personal and friendly contacts as well.

EARS© will be made available with iCube Office ver.2.( http://www.icubeoffice.com ) The system would be customized and personalized for invidual users. It would effectively respond to individual language and speech pattern. The user will be required to use the iCube Office voice chat ( http://www.icubeoffice.com ) for analyzing voice related data. EARS© can be configured to sense emotions in incoming mails as well. Should a customer get annoyed over anything, such mails may be automatically copied to Superior staff in the organization.

“We will offer the application in different formats” said Mr. John Martyn, the Marketing Director at Owtsar Technologies. “It will be made available as a SaaS model with individual company id and user package hosted in secure Data Centers in North America or Europe. Larger firms can host the system individually either in their premises or in hosted servers in data centers; they can also split their servers and host them in multiple places, based on geographical locations, applications or even offices and departments. We are very flexible in our offerings” he added.

More details on the features available with ‘iCube Office’, such as embedded email encryption, DMS, Corporate emails Management, CRM etc are available at http://www.icubeoffice.com

Software Reduces Contact-Handling Costs to Just 10¢

iCube Office-2 ( http://www.icubeoffice.com ) launched by Owtsar Technologies, a Chennai, India based software firm, will deliver such a performance, according to the company.

Chennai, India, September 02, 2010 — Does an organization’s contact-handling performance, for phone, correspondence and face-to-face communication, answer 90% of incoming calls in seconds and reply to incoming correspondence immediately. Can a customer’s contact experience with a business provide a face to face discussion with all relevant records, at just 10¢.

iCube Office-2 ( http://www.icubeoffice.com ) launched by Owtsar Technologies, a Chennai, India based software firm, will deliver such a performance, according to the company. ( http://www.owtsar.co.in ) When a Customer contacts a firm, it is expected to reach the right person in time and complete the purpose of the call. Research shows that only 20% of the calls reach their destination and that Costs vary from $25 for face-to-face to 10¢ for online contact. With work shifting to home and mobile, it has added to the problem. Voice-mail according to experts has addressed the symptoms and not the problem. The ‘ problem being how to access the right person in a timely manner at a minimum cost to the organisation.’

iCube Office‘ solution enables an instant face-to-face contact with the right person online . It would also retrieve and display all emails and documents shared between them on both computers. License is based on number of users, but any number of customers can be added with a customer id linked to a customer relations officer within the company. ‘It cannot get faster than this’, said Mr. John Martyn, Marketing Director at Owtsar. ( http://www.owtsar.co.in ) A face-to-face meeting makes sense only when records are available for reference, he added. If the CRO is not available the Customer can opt to discuss with any other person within the organization.

Every company wants to retain its customer base and ensure that every need of their customer is provided by them. Providing access to the right person in a timely manner at a minimum cost and immediately answer their queries would ensure that the customer base is intact. That is the concern ‘iCube Office’ would address. ( http://www.icubeoffice.com ) The current market need has necessitated such a system. When it is available at competitive rates without the need for trained personnel or new hardware, it then is an ideal solution.

Together with this comes a email system with total corporate management features and an embedded encryption. One can send encrypted emails to any email account including hotmail, gmail, yahoomail etc. The recipients need not be registered or install any software in their computers, but can also send an encrypted reply. A full fledged Documents Management System (DMS) is also available with the facility to upload and edit documents such as doc/odt and convert to pdf.. Version control, access control, link control and audit trail is available. Legacy Applications that are currently in use can be integrated with the system. Third party applications such as accounting, bill collections etc can also be linked with the system. A basic CRM for customer data, Staff interactive tool for discussions, Admin Control, multilingual facility, RSS feeds, desktop version and Mobile access for Win OS only, are some of the other features available now.
