IAPAM Announces Dates for its Next Symposium with Botox Injection Training: June 15-16

The IAPAM announces the dates for its next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium in Scottsdale, AZ: June 15-16, 2013.

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – May 8, 2013 — By analyzing recent aesthetic medicine statistics published by the ASPS, the ASAPS and the AAFPRS, the IAPAM has identified that in 2013, offering aesthetic medical treatments from botox to lasers for skin rejuvenation will result in the growth of a medical practice. To support this growth, the IAPAM offers the industry’s most comprehensive, hands-on botox and aesthetic medicine training. Today, it announces the dates for its next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium in Scottsdale, AZ: June 15-16, 2013.

“More patients are turning to the more inexpensive non-invasive procedures rather than surgical cosmetic procedures,” says Jeff Russell, Executive Director of the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (http://www.iapam.com). “They may not get the long term benefits of a face lift, but with a combination treatment of botox and dermal fillers, then can get a great result at a fraction of the price.”

This is illustrated in the recent statistics from ASPS (and echoed in the reports from the ASAPS and the AAFPRS), as there were 13 million non-surgical procedures performed in 2012; the top five minimally-invasive procedures being:

– Botulinum toxin type A (6.1 million procedures, up 8 percent)
– Soft tissue fillers (2 million procedures, up 5 percent)
– Chemical peel (1.1 million procedures, up 2 percent)
– Laser hair removal (1.1 million procedures, up 4 percent)
– Microdermabrasion (974,000 procedures, up 8 percent)

“For the third consecutive year, the overall growth in cosmetic surgery continues to be driven by a significant rise in minimally-invasive procedures,” confirmed Dr. Gregory Evans, MD, President of the ASPS.

In support of this market growth, the IAPAM has tailored its educational programs, like its Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox Training (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com), to ensure physicians have hands-on botox training, and can start offering aesthetic medicine procedures immediately after attending.

Since the key to growth in 2013 will be offering lower cost, short term procedures (i.e. botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, physician-directed skin care and medical microdermabrasion) versus higher cost, long term procedures (i.e. facelifts and breast augmentation), physicians will seek out professional training programs, offered in medical facilities not hotel rooms, and taught by physicians and other expertly trained medical and business personnel. The IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums with Botox Training, Aesthetic Medicine Practice Start-Up Workshops and Clean Start hCG for Weight Loss Seminars, are all designed by physicians for physicians, to meet this essential educational need.

The IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com) leads its competitors in offering the most complete botox training and aesthetic medicine education in North America. Attendees at the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums will have the advantage of learning from board-certified dermatologists and experts in the fields of botox injection training, lasers, dermal fillers, hCG for weight loss, chemical peels and microdermabrasion.

IAPAM Announces New Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox ® Training September 22-23, 2012

The IAPAM announces the dates for its next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium, September 22-23, 2012, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – August 9, 2012 — The growth in minimally-invasive, less expensive anti-aging treatments such as Botox ®, dermal fillers, and hCG for weight loss continues to grow in the second half of 2012. From family physicians to internists to obstetricians & gynecologists, many physicians have decided to add these services to their existing practices. To meet this need, the IAPAM announces the dates for its next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium, September 22-23, 2012, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

As reported in Medical Economics, the increase in interest in the field of aesthetic medicine makes sense when one considers that, “the bulk of cosmetic procedure clients are the very people who dominate the patient panels of internists and family physicians. Women aged 35 to 50 years have 44% of these procedures, and women between the ages of 51 and 65 have an additional 20%.”

To help physicians add these non-surgical modalities to a practice, and enter this lucrative cash-based market, the IAPAM offers the industry’s leading dermatologist-led Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox ® Training in Scottsdale, Arizona. At the IAPAM’s September 22-23 Symposium (http://iapam.com/aesthetic-medicine-symposium-botox-training), physicians will receive everything they need, to start safely and profitably offering Botox ® and other in-demand aesthetic medicine procedures right away.

“About 5 million nonsurgical cosmetic procedures were performed by aestheticians last year, frequently in a spa setting,” says Jeff Russell, executive director of the IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com). “Many primary care physicians (PCPs) have decided to meet the demand for these services by actively controlling the “med” part of these “medspas”.”

Therefore, the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium is specifically designed by physicians, for physicians, to educate and train on the top cosmetic procedures like: Botox ®, dermal filler injections, lasers for skin rejuvenation & laser hair removal, medical microdermabrasion, and medical grade chemical peels. The IAPAM’s September 22-23 Symposium has integrated the most important clinical, aesthetic medicine business, and Botox ® training ALL into one weekend, including:

– dedicated instruction from board-certified dermatologists, who are true experts of the skin and cosmetic injectables;
– hands-on practice in the best injection techniques;
– Botox ® training at a multi-million dollar medical practice, not in a hotel room; and
– an environment that does not allow exhibitors, giving physicians more time for education.

Attendees also have the opportunity to:

1. Attend the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Practice Start-Up Workshop (http://iapam.com/aesthetic-practice-startup-workshop) on Monday, September 24, 2012, a program highlighting the latest information on medspa business development and social media marketing.
2. Attend the IAPAM’s hCG Training (http://iapam.com/physician-weight-loss-training-using-hormones) on Friday, September 21, 2012, which covers hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) for weight loss, prescription appetite suppressants, ketogenic diet based programs, meal replacements and B6/12 injections.

Since 2006, over 1000 physicians (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, DDSs etc.) and their staff (RNs, MAs, practice managers, etc.), have attended the IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums and hCG Training seminars, and been certified by the IAPAM. Also, the year of personalized practice support and the wealth of resources included with one’s training, definitely make the IAPAM’s programs different than the others.

The dates for the next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium are September 22-23, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. For additional information or to register for the September 22-23 Aesthetic Medicine Symposium, please contact the IAPAM at 1-800-219-5108 ext. 704, or visit http://www.iapam.com.

IAPAM Announces April Date for hCG Training: April 27, 2012

IAPAM is helping physicians enter this lucrative market, by offering their physician-led hCG Training in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 27, 2012.

Las Vegas, Nevada, March 22, 2012 — On March 14, 2012, Dr. Oz’s comments re-ignited unprecedented positive interest in hCG for weight loss. To meet this consumer demand, the IAPAM is helping physicians enter this lucrative market, by offering their physician-led hCG Training in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 27, 2012. Physicians will learn and receive everything they need to start safely and profitably offering hCG for weight loss to their patients in 2012.

The IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com) has trained over 650 physicians on how to effectively offer hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin) for weight loss to their patients. To date, well over 20,000 patients have successfully lost weight on hCG using the IAPAM’s Exclusive hCG Diet (http://www.hcgtraining.com), based on Dr. Simeons manuscript, Pounds and Inches (http://www.iapam.com/dr-simeons-pounds-and-inches-manuscript.html).

Join the IAPAM for its next hCG Training session of 2012, on April 27, 2012, and prepare to offer hCG for Weight Loss to the flood of patients seeking hCG as a result of seeing Dr. Oz’s recent overview (http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/does-hcg-diet-work-pt-1) of this effective weight loss program.

During the segment, Dr. Oz had several key messages regarding the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical grade hCG in a physician-supervised weight loss program. These key messages are consistent with the principals taught in the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine’s Physician hCG Training (http://www.hcgtraining.com):

1. Consistent with the FDA’s position, homeopathic hCG (hCG drops, etc.) DO NOT WORK. Only pharmaceutical hCG, prescribed by a physician as part of a proven hCG Protocol, is effective in fat and weight loss.
2. Unlike weight loss from a restrictive diet alone, where up to 1/3 of a patient’s weight loss is muscle loss, patients on an hCG Protocol loose fat from their stomachs, buttocks, etc. and “leave the muscle alone.”
3. Dr. Oz recommends that any patient on diet under 1200 calories, should be under the direct care of a physician.

The IAPAM’s hCG Training includes everything a physician needs to add this program to a practice, such as:

– Detailed IAPAM hCG Program Protocols
– Patient selection criteria
– Common medical hCG contraindications
– Consent forms, medical history forms
– Patient hCG Program Guidebook to offer patients (hCG friendly recipes, food journal, tips)
– Patient PowerPoint presentations for the waiting room
– Phone scripts & call logs for your staff
– Legal/Insurance considerations, and current FDA status
– hCG ordering information and special pharmaceutical hCG pricing
– Special hCG Facebook discussion forum
– VLCD/LCD diet programs
– Meal replacement diet programs
– Ketogenic based diet programs
– Utilizing B6/B12 injections in weight loss
– Using prescription appetite suppressants in weight loss
– Metabolism testing as a profit center
– Laser assisted lipolysis
– Listing of your hCG Clinic in the IAPAM’s NEW hCG Diet Clinic Directory (http://www.iapam.com/aesthetic-resources/hcg-diet-clinics)

Moreover, the IAPAM’s respected program is taught by true hCG experts who operate hCG weight loss clinics, and who have completed the hCG Protocol themselves. This allows physicians and their staff to learn from the IAPAM faculty’s vast experience. Finally, the IAPAM’s hCG Training is the only Physician hCG Training program in North America approved for a special medical malpractice rate for those who have attended and have been certified by the IAPAM. This medical malpractice coverage is not offered to any other hCG training program.

For additional information or to register for the April 27, 2012 hCG Training, please contact the IAPAM, at 1-800-219-5108 ext. 708, email info@theiapam.com or visit http://www.hcgtraining.com
