Salinas, CA, August 02, 2017 — The Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 99th anniversary with a festive new event, “99 Years of ChamBEER on the Wall,” in September 2017. (The calendar even cooperated with us as the event takes places on 9/9.)

Paul Farmer, President and CEO of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce shared, “When we were considering how to celebrate the Chamber’s 99th year, ’99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall’ jumped out from among the other event ideas and said ‘Pick me!’ We immediately recognized an Oktoberfest-themed event as the perfect reason to invite the community out to see the remarkable facilities of our member Alvarado Street Brewery. We’re delighted that our friends at 1st Capital Bank have signed on as our Presenting Sponsor for this event. They will also be the Presenting Sponsor for what we dream up for our 100th anniversary celebration next year.”

“99 Years of ChamBEER on the Wall” is an Oktoberfest event that will be limited to the first 199 people and takes place on Saturday, Sept. 9 (9/9) from 6-9 p.m. at the Alvarado Street Brewery in Salinas.

Fresh To Order™ Signs Agreement with Concessions International for Hartsfield-Jackson Airport

Fresh To Order (f2o) announced today the signing of the franchise agreement with Concessions International to open a location in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Alpharetta, GA (USA), Friday – May 25th, 2012 — Fresh To Order (f2o) announced today the signing of the franchise agreement with Concessions International to open a location in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The company’s first airport location will be in the Concourse B food court and is scheduled to open in October. Construction is slated to begin this summer.

“Opening a restaurant in the world’s busiest airport will generate brand recognition far beyond Atlanta,” said Pierre Panos, concept creator and President of Fresh To Order. “Atlantans have been extremely loyal since the opening of our first restaurant in 2006. We hope visitors to the area will be just as receptive as our long-time guests.”

The 575 square foot restaurant will feature a pared down menu with an emphasis on the chain’s famous salads and paninis. Five of the company’s signature “long plates” will also be available.

In addition to the new HJAIA location, Fresh To Order ( http://www.fresh2order.com ) is projecting to open another restaurant near Emory University in Atlanta before the end of the year.

Fresh To Order has ramped up its franchise development efforts for the remainder of 2012. Earlier this month the company hosted its inaugural tasting event in Orlando. The next event will be on June 11 in Nashville. These regional menu tastings bring Fresh To Order’s chef-inspired cuisine to potential franchisees, investors, local business and community leaders. The small group format gives attendees the opportunity to sample the f2o menu alongside Panos and executive chef Jesse Gideon.

Fresh To Order ( http://www.fresh2order.com ), a pioneer in the “fast fine” dining segment, has already distanced itself from fast-casual eateries by providing a casual fine dining taste profile at a fast-casual price point with an elevated level of service. The average guest ticket order is $9 at lunch and $11 at dinner. Every protein is cooked “fresh to order” on a flame grill in the open-display kitchen as guests order, and dressings and soups are prepared from scratch twice daily in each restaurant. A wide selection of wines and beers is also available. Five of Fresh To Order’s locations are located in and around metropolitan Atlanta, with the sixth location in Chattanooga, Tenn.; nine locations will be open by the end of 2012. Two of the locations—Johns Creek and Sandy Springs in suburban Atlanta—are franchised. By 2015, Fresh To Order expects to have 50 locations nationwide, with another 50 locations in various stages of development.

Da Bruno Italian Marbella Restaurants Retain The Lead In The Costa Del Sol Grand Prix

On the same weekend that Fernando Alonso was racing in the Formula 1 final in Abu Dhabi, the Da Bruno Costa del Sol Grand Prix team was out navigating the waters skilfully to hold onto the lead in the Costa del Sol Grand Prix.

It was exciting to watch as the boats put up a good fight, with some great match racing manoeuvres. The action built up to a climax in the last downwind leg when Juan Luis Páez, helmsman of Da Bruno, and Iñaki Castañer maintained a tough battle a few lengths from the finishing line.

The Da Bruno Marbella Restaurants Orbaneja Pepequín finished in second place, with first place being taken by winner the Servimil, Pablo Villar.

However Da Bruno Restaurants is the overall leader, thanks to two second in the boat skippered by Juan Luis Páez, which gave a fine performance. This is followed by Peninsula Petroleum’s R.C.M. Servimil Sotogrande, sailing under the CM pendant Melilla.

During the race the wind was at a rate of 2.8 miles with a wind from 230 ° (SW), ranging between 10 and 15 knots intensity. The conditions were quite favourable for the vessels in the bay of Marbella.
