I want to sound like ‘me’ and have the feel be as right as the sound. This was an easy choice since I always listen for the best sound first.”

R&B Legend Bunny Sigler Releases From Bunny with Love

Featuring The New Single, “Nobody Else For Me” Due Out April 17, 2012

Los Angeles, CA, April 14, 2012 – The legendary, the soulful, the masterful, Mr. Emotion, Walter “Bunny” Sigler releases his latest R&B album From Bunny With Love, featuring the single “Nobody Else For Me” and is available on CD Baby, iTunes and on Bunny’s website on April 17 (http://www.bunnysigler.net/home.cfm).

Walter “Bunny” Sigler learned the power of music and the emotional quality of funk as a child, in the Emmanuel Baptist church in Philadelphia, PA. While still in his adolescence, Bunny, his brother and two other young men made up The Opals, his first vocal and musical group. Since then Sigler is a four-time Grammy award winner and nominee who has been a writer, producer or recording artist on thousands of recorded CDs. He is known internationally as a great performer and orignator of the Philly Sound for Gamble & Huff, and for his portrayal of the title role in Verdi’s Othello, at the Biennale Festival in Venice, Italy.

His work with Leon Huff and Kenny Gamble was instrumental in the development of The Philadelphia Sound and the distinction genre known as “Philly Soul”, as well as the climb to R&B legacy that Philadelphia International Records experienced since the 1960s. He has over four decades of multi-gold and platinum recordings both as a writer and producer for artists like The O’Jays, Jackie Moore, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Barbara Mason, Billy Paul, Lou Rawls, Patti LaBelle and Stephanie Mills.

More recently, The Roots, Outkast, and Mary J. Blige are among a few arists who have all used Bunny Sigler’s music. Nelly’s 2002 smash hit, “Dilemma” was co-written by Bunny and for ten weeks it replaced Nelly’s previous #1 from that year, “Hot In Herre” on charts throughout the world. He also co-wrote “The Ruler’s Back”, the opening song on the widely respected and critically acclaimed album The Blueprint by Jay-Z.

The twelve original tracks on this newest album, From Bunny With Love are evidence that Bunny remains a musical and creative powerhouse. From the melodious and heartfelt “My Sweet Lorraine” to the furtive “Unspoken Words,” which expresses the widely familliar pains of a growing, father-child relationship. The captivating single, “Nobody Else for Me” speaks of finding that right someone and holding on to her through all of life’s detours. Hear Bunny’s sweet emotion with the lyrics of “I Wish”: a universal prayer for peace and better times in the world. To close out the album Bunny bestows his infinitismal funk and groove upon his listeners with “Face The Music,” to leave them with a reminder that as long as we have music to be sung or beats to be heard the heart of Philly will play out forever.

So sit back, relax and feel the love, funk, and soul as only Bunny Sigler can perform with his gift to you “From Bunny With Love.”

Congratulations to Local Author, Molly Nero, Winner of the 2012 Mom’s Choice Award!

Local Bethel Park author and experienced educator Molly Nero has been awarded the 2012 Mom’s Choice Award for her recently published debut book Smarty Pig. This story was created to get children excited about learning.

Houston, TX (USA), Thursday – April 05, 2012 — Local Bethel Park author and experienced educator Molly Nero has been awarded the 2012 Mom’s Choice Award for her recently published debut book Smarty Pig. This story was created to get children excited about learning.

“Learning is not just for school, it’s for life,” says Nero, author of Smarty Pig, soon to be released through Halo Publishing International. She hopes teachers will utilize Smarty Pig in their classrooms to inspire their students. “It is important to help children understand that learning to count and read is not just something we make them do at school, but lessons they will be applying throughout their lives.” She said reading to her own children inspired her to write stories that will build self-esteem and help young students deal with issues at school.

Smarty Pig is a story about a family of pigs who give up on school. One of the pigs, though, loves to learn. She creates games to help others practice skills eventually getting the family members to realize that learning can be fun and how important school really is to their future. Reaching out to young students, the pro-learning book is geared toward children in grades K-3.

“This book series will be valuable to teachers working to inspire learning in children,” said Halo International Publisher Lisa Umina ( http://www.halopublishing.com ). “Molly knows from her own experience as a teacher how important it is to get children excited about school.”

First-grade teacher Barbara Walsh said Smarty Pig appeals to readers of all ages. “Parents and teachers love the positive message about learning,” Walsh said. “And kids love it because it’s fun.”

Nero said she wants children to understand that school is a good place, and it isn’t just about tests. Creative and experiential learning are essential to development, said the author. In her second book in the Smarty Pig series, Nero helps students who struggle with test taking anxiety in Smarty Pig and the Test Taking Terror. Here she gives kids, parents and even teachers strategies to help overcome test “shut-down.” “These are techniques that I have used and found to be effective to calm kids down when they are overwhelmed dealing with a testing situation.”

A native of Arlington, Texas and the youngest in a family of seven children, Nero taught academics and music at the elementary school level after achieving her degree at the University of Texas. Nero recently relocated to Pennsylvania with her husband and two children, ages 9 and 15.

Smarty Pig was released in Jan. 2012 and Smarty Pig and the Test Taking Terror was just released in March. To order the books, visit http://halopublishing.com., amazon.com, or barnesandnoble.com. Curse and Kisses Entertainment Announces New Artist Album Release

“Curse and Kisses is over the top, heavily produced, and garish hard rock with an underlying current of sex and glitter that can’t quite outshine the music’s glistening grime.” – Bryan Rodgers, Aerial Publicity.

Orlando, FL (USA), Monday – January 16, 2012 — Curses and Kisses Entertainment, LLC announces this week a release from new artist Curse & Kisses. ( http://www.cursenkisses.com ) All it takes is a listen – the music speaks for itself.

Curse & Kisses is being defined as “Orgasmic Rock.” It’s this phrase that communicates the fact that this hot new style of music has the ability to provide its listeners with extreme pleasure. Curse & Kisses covers a wide range of genres in his music that include funk, pop, psychedelic rock and rhythm and blues.

The new self titled extended play includes six tracks: Blue Eyes; Zombie; Stone Cold Freak; Curse & Kisses and two Instrumentals. ( http://www.cursenkisses.com )

As frank as Curse & Kisses so often is about desire, drugs and the rock ’n’ roll lifestyle, that “underlying current of sex and glitter” is only out-shined by “the music’s glistening grime,” said music critic Bryan Rodgers. “The sound is one of conflict and aggression, almost like shock metal cut with a dusting of progressive rock and funk.”

The artist started playing at the age of 13.

“I can provide aggression and subtlety in one song,” he says. “My music is like a roller coaster.”

Curses & Kisses is working to build interest and support with some creative techniques. For example, its “Rock Wall of Fame” gives interested fans, artists and businesses a way to highlight themselves on the wall and provides a way to show support for the band. For $10, users can upload an image of their choice; include a short message; and a website address. This content will stay on the artist website forever.

This innovative independent artist is also working to raise funds for recording, promoting, photography, and various other expenses. Supporters will receive custom rewards of appreciation from Curse & Kisses. Custom rewards are distributed exclusively to supporters through Kickstarter. Rewards will not be resold or distributed anywhere else. Also, supporters who donate $25 or more will also receive recognition forever on the “Rock Wall of Fame.”

Antonio “A&R” Richardson Promises Growth in 2012

Antonio “A&R” Richardson had a great year in 2011, but in 2012 he’ll only get better.

St. Paul, MN (USA), Thursday – January 05, 2012 — For Antonio “A&R” Richardson, 2011 was a year of development. The Saint Paul, Minn. hip hop artist and actor built on the success he experienced in 2009 and 2010 to further challenge himself to only get better.

In 2011, Richardson saw the release of two major motion pictures, DreamWorks’ Transformers 3 and Warner Bros’ Contagion, both of which he had the pleasure of being cast in. He also released Cool Is Where I Live, a mixtape available on his website, ionlygetbetter.com.

Perhaps the most rewarding challenge for Richardson in 2011 was the launch of his brand, Busy Little Beavers. Creating a clothing line has been a lifelong dream for Richardson, who is continuously cultivating his own style to represent his individuality using the newest trends to compliment his classic style. As an entrepreneur, Richardson ( http://www.ionlygetbetter.com ) values innovation, creativity, and ambition. He emphasizes attention to detail and quality in everything he does. Busy Little Beavers is no exception; Richardson takes great care in creating a product that lives up to his values: detail is key; quality is common sense. The name Busy Little Beavers came from a recording studio session Richardson had in April 2011. The name refers to a sound that moved Richardson, “I asked my producer what the sound was called and he told me “Busy Little Beaver”. I couldn’t explain it, but the name struck me.” For Richardson, Busy Little Beavers was the brand he had been trying to formulate his entire life.

Richardson also had the honor of participating in an after school program for the students of Elizabeth Hall Elementary School in Minneapolis, Minn. The program was developed to improve test scores by providing students with a structured environment to increase academic skills through participation in enrichment activities of their choice. When the program was looking for a music teacher for the fourth and fifth grade students, Richardson was a natural choice. “Music has really saved my life, I don’t know where I would be without it”, says Richardson, who was the same age as his students when he began writing music.

Fans can expect 2012 to be just as busy for Richardson, who plans to release both a mixtape and album in the coming months and to continue to build Busy Little Beavers. Richardson also has a few new business ventures on the horizon that will be sure to please his followers. Check for news regarding his upcoming releases on ionlygetbetter.com ( http://www.ionlygetbetter.com ) or follow his journey at twitter.com/anrmusic. harlequins enigma Releases Time Dance (Liberty Mix), Available Shortly on Major Mp3 Stores

harlequins enigma release a new professionally remastered version of their favourite dance track from octagon volume 2 – night pulse and the silhouette of dr. voodoo.

Bergen, Norway, Wednesday – December 28, 2011 — Harlequins enigma release a new professionally remastered version of their favourite dance track from octagon volume 2 – night pulse and the silhouette of dr. voodoo. It is of course “time dance.” This version goes under the name “time dance – liberty mix.” Time dance was remastered at last drop mastering by Nathan Allen at the end of November 2011. The dance track time dance was composed by åge riisnes & his brother ståle. harlequins enigma have high hopes for the single, and hope the dance scene will give it a chance.

Åge drew inspiration from early 80s/90s+ hits in his heart & had a nice period in 2009 where many of the “skyscrapers” came to life. A romance had much to do with parts of it. In his early ophidian period, he was influenced by a vast number of artists. including amiga artists atjazz, øistein j. eide – boom jinx, jesper kyd, bjørn lynne and others. In addition, he had a nice collection of audio cd’s early in his career like Jean Michel Jarre – Chronologie, Vangelis – Blade Runner, Pink Floyd – The Wall, Limp Bizkit, Korn, P.O.D., Kate Bush, Yello, Tori Amos, Depeche Mode, Røyksopp, Kitaro, tons of the best Billboard music and classical pieces from Beethoven ( http://www.harlenia.com ), Grieg, Wagner & others. They were all part of his root elements. He also had an early heavy metal period with favourites at the time: Metallica, Motley Crue, King Diamond, Ratt, Whitesnake, Rainbow, The Clash & more, plus he grew fond of Kenji Kawai’s Ghost in the Shell soundtrack among others, as his roots were made from early 1990’s to the next millennium. Night pulse & the silhouette of dr. voodoo is based on heartbeat b.p.m. – but much of it drew juice from manga metal etc.

Harlqeuins enigma informs that this single is an interruption in their holiday from music. So it is time for them to relax for some months, that will lead them to piece of mind and to the summer of 2012, until you hear from them again musically. Their homepage will hold important messages, and all stores will be open. And they would like to greet all fans of the band, and invite everyone for a close listen to their new beauty.
