Fusion Art is Now Accepting Submissions for its June 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Light & Shadow”

Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is accepting submissions for “Light & Shadow,” its June 2016 international online juried art exhibition. The gallery is accepting submissions until May 25th.

Palm Springs, CA, USA — Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is accepting submissions for “Light & Shadow,” its June 2016 international online juried art exhibition. The gallery is accepting submissions until May 25th.

For this competition artists and photographers are encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of light and shadow. The artwork should focus on the dramatic placement and effects of light and shadow over the canvas or through the lens. Whether color or black and white, the light and shadow in the artwork should emphasize the subject matter by giving definition and dimension thus enhancing the vivid placement of lights and darks. The competition will accept any subject matter in any of the acceptable mediums and the artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.

The competition is open to artists worldwide and all artists, regardless of experience level, are encouraged to participate. Cash prizes will be awarded in two categories – “Traditional” Art and “Photography & Digital” Art and the Best in Show winners receive an invitation to participate in Fusion Art’s group exhibition in Palm Springs, CA in November 2016.

Each month Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in 70+ press release announcements, email marketing and through the gallery’s social media outlets.

Fusion Art’s “Landscapes” International Online Juried Art Exhibition Opens April 1, 2016

Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its April 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Landscapes.”

Palm Springs, CA, USA (April 1, 2016) — Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its April 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Landscapes.”

Opening on April 1st, the “Landscapes” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Photography & Digital Art. The Best in Show winners include Raquel Stokes for her acrylic on canvas, “A Tale of Two Mountains,” and Markelle Palombo for her photograph on fine art fiber rag, “Lassen.”

Both Raquel and Markelle are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of March 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Landscapes” award winners include Second Place winners, Preston Craig for his acrylic on canvas, “Napa Red” and Nicholas Teetelli for his digital photograph, “Lollipop II.” Third Place awards were given to Lynn Budney for her oil on canvas, “Driftwood-Summer” and Bette Levine for her digital photograph, “Misty Morning in a Small Lagoon.”

The international juried competition was held from February 10h through March 24th and received entries from artists in over half a dozen countries including the US, Canada, England, Mexico, India, Australia, Pakistan, and France. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until April 30, 2016.

Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its March 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Figures & Faces.”

Palm Springs, CA, USA (March 1, 2016) — Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its March 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Figures & Faces.”

Opening on March 1st, the “Figures & Faces” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Photography & Digital Art. The Best in Show winners include Joshua Langley for his oil on canvas, “Little Scamps”, and Bin Feng for his archival pigment print, “The American Dream – The Male Gaze.”

Both Joshua and Bin are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of March 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Figures & Faces” award winners include Second Place winners, Debi Pickler, for her pencil drawing, “Character” and Ron Testa, for his digital photograph, “Ziggy’s Lady.” Third Place awards were given to Cindy Shames for her, colored pencil and pan pastel, “Microphone” and Molly Phalen for her, silver gelatin print, “The Guardian.”

The international juried competition was held from January 8th through February 24th and received entries from artists in over eleven countries including the US, Canada, England, China, Russia, Israel, India, Estonia, Australia, Portugal, and France. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until March 31, 2016.

Opening on February 1, 2016, the “Animal Kingdom” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Photography & Digital Art. The Best in Show winners include Dionne Ho for her watercolor on cold pressed paper, “A Hunter’s Glare”, and Jean Burnett for her digital art from photography on canvas, “Two x Two.”

Both Dionne and Jean are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of February 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Animal Kingdom” award winners include Second Place winners, David Hoque, for his colored pencil on suede, “Seamus” and Youri Chasov, for his digital painting, “Puma.” Third Place awards were given to Benjamin Williams for his, acrylic on canvas, “Home at Last” and Margarita Bourkova for her, digital painting, “TicTac.”

Opening on January 1, 2016, the “Artist’s Choice” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography. The Best in Show winners include Graham Coulthard for his 24″ x 30″ oil on canvas, “Pedro the Jockey”, and Jessica Manelis for her 10″ x 14″ Digital Painting, “Downtown.”

Both Graham and Jessica are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of January 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.
