Fusion Art’s “Light & Shadow” International Online Juried Art Exhibition Opens June 1, 2016

Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its June 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Light & Shadow.”

Palm Springs, CA, USA — Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its June 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Light & Shadow.”

Opening on June 1st, the “Light & Shadow” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography. The Light & Shadow Best in Show winners are Catherine Palmer for her oil on canvas, “Grove and Masonic,” and Richard Greene for his photograph, “Sunset Blvd.”

Both Catherine and Richard are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of June 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Light & Shadow” award winners include Second Place winners, Holly Siniscal for her colored pencil drawing, “Andromeda” and Jim Kerns for his photograph, “Last Night’s Dinner.” Third Place awards were given to Bonnie Lambert for her oil on canvas, “Counterpoint” and Ozzie Nogg for her digital photograph, “Shy Cowboy.”

The international juried competition was held from April 16th through May 25th and received entries from artists all around the world including the US, Canada, England, India, Australia, Brazil, and the United Arab Emirates. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until June 30, 2016.

Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is now accepting submissions for “Red, White & Blue,” its July 2016 international online juried art exhibition.

Palm Springs, CA, USA — Fusion Art is pleased to announce it is now accepting submissions for “Red, White & Blue,” its July 2016 international online juried art exhibition.

In honor of the United States’ Independence Day holiday during the month of July, Fusion Art is celebrating the colors Red, White & Blue. For this competition artists and photographers are encouraged to share their artistic vision using the colors Red, White & Blue. The artwork does not have to be patriotic in nature. It can include one or two or all of the colors and can be any theme or subject matter in any of the acceptable mediums. The artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.

The competition is open to artists worldwide and all artists, regardless of location or experience level, are encouraged to participate. Cash prizes will be awarded in two categories – “Traditional” Art and “Digital Art & Photography” and the Best in Show winners receive an invitation to participate in Fusion Art’s group exhibition in Palm Springs, CA in November 2016. The deadline to apply is June 25, 2016.

Palm Springs, CA, USA — Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its May 2016 International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Leaves & Petals.”

Opening on May 1st, the “Leaves & Petals” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography. The Best in Show winners include Elizabeth Burin for her watercolor, “Magnolia Spotlight,” and Margaret King for her digital art, “Red Lily.”

Both Elizabeth and Margaret are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of May 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Leaves & Petals” award winners include Second Place winners, Sara Bardin for her acrylic on canvas, “Red Velvet” and Jean Burnett for her digital art from photography on canvas, “Sleeping Beauty.” Third Place awards were given to Aisha Ismail for her watercolor, “The Forest Bed” and Youri Chasov for his digital painting on paper, “Mount5.”

The international juried competition was held from March 6th through April 24th and received entries from artists in over a dozen countries including the US, Canada, England, India, Australia, Pakistan, France, Russia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until May 31, 2016.

Whether color or black and white, the light and shadow in the artwork should emphasize the subject matter by giving definition and dimension thus enhancing the vivid placement of lights and darks. The competition will accept any subject matter in any of the acceptable mediums and the artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction.

Opening on January 1, 2016, the “Artist’s Choice” exhibition features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography. The Best in Show winners include Graham Coulthard for his 24″ x 30″ oil on canvas, “Pedro the Jockey”, and Jessica Manelis for her 10″ x 14″ Digital Painting, “Downtown.”

Both Graham and Jessica are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of January 2016 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are also invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Jupiter, Florida – May 2, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its May 2012 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Nature” and artists were asked to interpret “Nature” by depicting the physical world.

An art competition was held in April 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 15 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 35 different states. Overall, there were 829 entries from 229 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

All Women Juried Art Exhibition Now Online Ready to View

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its February 2012 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online.

Jupiter, Florida – February 05, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its February 2012 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The basis for this month’s art exhibition was “All Women” (women only artists) and contained an open subject theme.

An art competition was held in January 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 21 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 39 different states. Overall, there were 1,219 entries that were judged for this art competition. Due to the volume of entries, the gallery decided to create 4 media categories and make awards for each, along with an Overall Category which were selected from the 4 media categories.
