EssentialSkillz,a global E-Learning solutions expert, will be launching the new E-Learning suite, O-LAS, at the Learning Technologies show at Olympia 2 in London on the 26th and 27th January 2011.
This unique suite of tools has four modules that can work together or independently. O-LAS LMS , O-LAS Author, O-LAS Assess and O-LAS Content combined create a unique and unrivalled online E-Learningsystem with the power and flexibility of systems many times more expensive.
Each element of the O-LAS suite has its own unique functionality.
O-LAS LMS. This powerful LMS is the core of the suite. A SCORM compliant LMS, it features powerful reporting and tracking along with the ability to use the content library from EssentialSkillz, SCORM content created with O-LAS Author, or third party SCORM content. Hosted online, it provides a low cost and worry free solution for businesses. As a scalable solution, it is also perfect for large or small organisations and for companies that will need to expand their LMS solution as they roll it out.
O-LAS Author. Powerful E-Learning authoring tools can be complex to use and require highly trained content developers. O-LAS Author is a rapid authoring tool that has been designed to enable almost anyone in your organisation to create and publish E-Learning courses. Simple to use, yet powerful enough to create engaging, immersive training, you can leave course creation down to the people that really know the subject rather than a developer. O-LAS Author can be used with O-LAS LMS to enable you to roll out your new course, or, if you have an existing SCORM LMS, you can export the courses from O-LAS Author.
O-LAS Assess. Online assessment is essential for many organisations. Whether the assessment is Health and Safety related, HR related or company specific, you can create comprehensive assessments using O-LAS Assess. Uniquely, O-LAS Assess will create user prompts if there is advice that can be given during the assessment; for example helping to reduce risks. Combined with O-LAS LMS, you can create a curriculum of online activity including training created in O-LAS Author and Assessments created in O-LAS Assess plus any third party SCORM content that you wish to include.
O-LAS Content. Offering a broad range of training courses in either Health and Safety or Employment Law, O-LAS Content is a comprehensive library of SCORM courses that you can deploy with O-LAS LMS or your own LMS. Using O-LAS Content combined with O-LAS Author, you are able to edit and amend the courses to suit your own business requirements.
