Brazil Property development plots offer Good investment option claims AAA

With increasing amounts of foreign direct investment (FDI), coming into Brazil, now could be a great time to invest in property built on new plots of land in the South American country.

Boston, MA, December 11, 2012 – With increasing amounts of foreign direct investment (FDI), coming into Brazil, now could be a great time to invest in property built on new plots of land in the South American country, which are being made available to foreign real estate investors, Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) has claimed.

The alternative investment advocacy group has said that investors looking to make the most of the ongoing strong economic conditions in Brazil should invest in land there. “A number of plots of prime land are being opened up in Brazil to foreign property investors,” claimed AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson.

“With the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics coming to Brazil in the next four years, growth is likely to continue and investors could see some really great returns if they invest in real estate there.”

A recent report by Ernst & Young Terco stated that foreign direct investment into Brazilian real estate has reached as much as R$10 billion this year. The investment has been stimulated by the Accelerated Growth Program, which has received plenty of attention form investors looking for ways to diversify their portfolios. The project involves improving the country’s infrastructure to help prepare for these vents, as well as to help house the hundreds of thousands of people moving into urban areas for work.

Speaking to Property Wire, Knight Knox International’s property consultant Mike Sefton, said that the plots offer great locations, planning permission and very reasonable prices to those who are considering building homes in Brazil as an investment.

Real estate investment is becoming increasingly attractive, particularly in emerging economies like Brazil, China and India, where a growing number of homes are needed to house workers and their families in urban areas.

AAA supports alternative assets like real estate and is also behind foreign investment in Brazil in general. “Forestry is a major source of ethical investment opportunities in Brazil,” added Mr Johnson.

Investing in Brazil is a Great Long-term option, says AAA

Alternative investment advocacy group AAA claims that there is enough evidence to suggest that further economic recovery is on its way in Brazil and growth rates of 3-4 per cent can be expected in the coming years.

Boston, MA, November 09, 2012 – Alternative investment advocacy group, Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) claims that there is enough evidence to suggest that further economic recovery is on its way in Brazil and growth rates of 3-4 per cent can be expected in the coming years.

A large number of people put their cash into Brazil in the past few years, as growth rates hit as high as 6 or 7 per cent. However, growth fell to just 1.5 per cent this year and the economy has failed to deliver in several areas, AAA has admitted. For example, those who invested in its stock markets have seen a 5 per cent fall in values in dollar terms and the value of its currency, the real, also took a hit against the dollar this year.

However, AAA claims that strategic government moves, such as the slashing of interest rates to a record low of 7.25 per cent, have helped to get recovery back on track. “Those who have investments in Brazil will see strong returns over time,” claimed AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson. He predicted that growth of between 3 and 4 per cent will return before too long.

AAA supports a range of alternative investment products and funds, but focuses on ethical options like impact investing and sustainable forestry investment. “Brazil is a great place to invest in forestry,” explained Mr Johnson. “It has lush, fertile conditions and there is a growing demand for sustainably produced timber due to huge house building projects and infrastructure investment in advance of the country hosting the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics within the coming four years.

One forestry investment option, run by Greenwood Management, offers people that chance to invest in their own piece of forestry plantation for as little as $15,000.

Brazil is fast becoming the go-to place for investors, claims AAA

Despite slower economic growth than recent years, Brazil still offers investors some very attractive opportunities, according to AAA.

Boston, MA, USA, October 26, 2012 — Despite slower economic growth than recent years, Brazil still offers investors some very attractive opportunities, according to Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA).

The fact that Brazil is now investing so heavily in transport and infrastructure ensures that investors from all over the world are interested in doing business in the Latin American country. Brazil is fast-emerging as one of the fastest growing economies in the world and has recently taken over from the UK as the sixth largest of the world’s economies. “things are really moving for Brazil and if you are looking to invest in somewhere that is on the up – Brazil is a good bet,” stated AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson.

Several specific projects are underway, which should attract investors interested in assets ranging from timberland to real estate. Firstly, there is the housing project that the Brazilian government is launching in order to build new, high quality homes for the millions of urban dwellers that have moved into Brazil’s cities. The government wants to get people out of the slum areas and into better houses. This will mean a greater demand for materials including steel and sustainable timber, “which is great news of those invested in Brazilian managed forestry,” added Mr Johnson.

Another major project that will please investors is the construction of the venues for the Rio Olympics in 2016 and the FIFA World Cup in 2014. As well as these venues, which will further increase demand for steel and timber, major road works are needed to ensure the infrastructure is in place to support the millions of extra people that will descend on Brazil’s cities during the events.

One of the transport solutions being mooted is the introduction of a bullet train service between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Reports claim that the project has attracted the attention of a raft of foreign investors, all keen to get involved in this major project.

“These are, without a doubt, exciting times for Brazil and investors who put their cash into this future superpower now will be making the right decision, in our opinion,” added Mr Johnson.

Brazil still a Good Bet for Real estate investors, agrees AAA

Although the Brazilian real estate market is slowing slightly, it is still a great place to invest in property, claims one expert, who has attracted the support of alternative investment advocacy group, AAA.

Boston, MA, October 17, 2012 – Although the Brazilian real estate market is slowing slightly, it is still a great place to invest in property, claims one expert, who has attracted the support of alternative investment advocacy group, Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA).

The expert, Dr David Lynn, is the founder of Lynn Capital Management and Dr Lynn spoke to National Real Estate Investor on the subject. He was keen to reassure investors that are interested in putting their money into property, that they could do worse than Brazil. He explained that the country has much lower levels of debt than much of Europe, where many investors are from.

“European investors are not putting their cash in domestic property,” claimed AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson. He added ”Markets are so depressed in Europe, as people are still so uncertain about the region’s economic stability in the future.”

Dr Lynn told National Real Estate Investor: “Ultimately, real estate comes down to the economic strength of a country and, despite the global economic slowdown, Brazil’s economy is broad and balanced and not overly dependent on export.”

Some investors are also likely to be worried that the Brazilian housing sector might crash like the US housing sector did several years back. However, speaking to Bloomberg, GTIS Partner’s Tom Shapiro insisted that he did not expect the same thing to happen in Brazil. Instead, he said that Brazil is investing heavily in factors that could drive further economic growth, like infrastructure, tourism and housing – all driven by its increasingly wealthy, young population.

AAA supports real estate investment in Brazil, together with other types of alternative investing in the region, such as forestry investment. It supports sustainable forestry projects such as the teak and eucalyptus plantations managed by firms like Greenwood Management. The plantation project is hoping to benefit from the housing boom in Brazil through the growth of timber used in new sustainable homes.

Brazil is a Great Place to Invest, agrees FRA

A new article in IFA Magazine by Green Forestry Investments’ Lisa Best, has been welcomed by FRA for championing Brazil as one of the best places to invest.

Seattle, United States, September 8, 2012 — A new article in IFA Magazine by Green Forestry Investments’ Lisa Best, has been welcomed by Forestry Research Associates (FRA) for championing Brazil as one of the best places to invest.

Lisa Best is a project manager for Green Forestry Investments and claims that, although Brazil’s economy is not growing as fast as it once was, it should definitely still be considered as a place to invest cash in alternatives, such as forestry and real estate.

Not only has the country become extremely stable, both economically and politically, in recent years it has also managed to win bids to host major sporting events over the coming few years. In 2014 the FIFA World Cup will be held in Brazil, while Rio will host the Olympics in 2016. For both of these events, considerable infrastructure investments will take place and the steel industry in particular is booming.

FRA’s analysis partner, Peter Collins, said, “This is one of the reasons why investing in forestry plantations in Brazil is a good bet. The plantations provide sustainable charcoal to the steel industry, who would otherwise be sourcing it form native forests which, as we all know, are threatened and extremely vulnerable.”

Ms Best added that Brazil already sources 85 per cent of the energy it needs from renewable sources. The government is still investing heavily in this area and, therefore, this is another reason why sustainable timber plantations that could produce biomass are worth investing in.

FRA supports all kinds of ethical investing and particularly green investments like timberland. Mr Collins explained that a growing number of investors want to see something with an intrinsic value in exchange for their hard-earned cash following the economic collapse. “Forestry investments through firms like Greenwood Management and Green Forestry Investments are a good option for risk-averse alternative investors,” stated Mr Collins.

Now is the time to Invest in Brazil, claims AAA

The analysts at alternative investment advocacy group AAA claim that this is the perfect time to invest in Brazil, with the economy still growing and major sporting events heading its way.

Boston, MA, September 04, 2012 – The analysts at alternative investment advocacy group, Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) claim that this is the perfect time to invest in Brazil, with the economy still growing and major sporting events heading its way.

“There are a million and one ways to invest in Brazil and cash in on the country’s impressive growth,” claimed AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson.

He said that Brazil is having an exciting period, with the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup due to be hosted in Rio and elsewhere in 2014 and 2016. As a result of these major events. The country is investing considerable cash into improving its infrastructure – so construction is booming.

Real estate is certainly an asset class that’s worth considering, according to Mr Johnson. Inner cities and beach resorts are set to grow in popularity with tourists who will be flocking to Brazil to enjoy the sport. Rio, in particular is likely to invest huge amounts in improving accommodation over the coming years as the Olympic Committee rated the city very poorly for accommodation and infrastructure – suggesting that there is serious room for growth.

Steel is a booming industry ins response to major infrastructure expansion – including airport construction and expansion as well as bridges, railways and roads. “ the steel industry needs charcoal to operate, “claimed Mr Johnson. He added, “going back a few years, they would have got their charcoal form the native rainforests but this is now frowned upon by the authorities and plantation timber tends top be used instead.

As a result of this, AAA claims that investing in plantations, which are sustainably managed by firms like Greenwood Management, may be a wise move and could generate some very healthy returns for investors. “It’s also very low risk”, added Johnson.

FRA comments on Brazilian Deforestation Reductions

Amazon rainforest deforestation rates have fallen to their lowest levels ever recorded and FRA is attributing this partly to the creation of sustainable forestry plantations in Brazil.

Seattle, United States, June 16, 2012 — Amazon rainforest deforestation rates have fallen to their lowest levels ever recorded and Forestry Research Associates (FRA) is attributing this partly to the creation of sustainable forestry plantations in Brazil.

New figures from the National Institute for Space Research in Brazil show that deforestation has reached the lowest levels since records began more than 20 years ago, and the results are being published just a fortnight before the Rio+20 Earth Summit.

In the 12 months to 31 July 2011, some 6,418 square km of forests were destroyed, which is the smallest area since 1988. The rate of deforestation has actually dropped by 75 per cent since 2004 and FRA, along with many other analysis organisations attributes much of the success to the measures brought in by the Brazilian government to try to limit deforestation.

Brazilian President, Dilma Rousseff, said the government was largely responsible for the improvement. She said, “This reduction is impressive; it is the result of changes in society, but it also stems from the political decision to inspect, as well as from punitive action by government agencies.”

FRA’s analysis partner, Peter Collins, said that the government’s measures have had a big effect. “An example is their move to discourage the steel industry from using illegally logged timber for the production of charcoal. Any firms that did so would not have been eligible for state handouts, so they all turned to sustainable plantations, such as those run by Greenwood Management and other similar investment firms, to source their charcoal.”

FRA claims that this means the market for sustainably produced timber and charcoal is growing, which is great news for anyone investing in timberland in Brazil.

Greenwood and other plantation management firms offer people outside Brazil the chance to invest in non-native timber plantations that help to provide alternatives to local illegally logged timber.

Brazil looks Set to Remain Popular with Investors, claims AAA

AAA said that Brazil is set to remain the focus of much of the world’s alternative investment attention in the coming years.

Boston, MA, USA, May 5, 2012 — Alternative Asset Analysis, (AAA) said that Brazil is set to remain the focus of much of the world’s alternative investment attention in the coming years.

The views from the Alternative investment advocacy organization reflect those expressed by HSBC Global Asset Management’s Pedro Bastos. He recently spoke at a briefing on the health of the region to investors in Malaysia.

He said that the country remained a “hub” for the creation of businesses. He added, “Among all emerging markets, Brazil has been the best performer for the last ten years, both in equities and fixed income.”

He added that the population of Brazil has become richer and more and more people from outside the country are starting to see it as a good prospect. This is particularly true for alternative investments in sustainable forestry through firms like Greenwood Management, added AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson.

Bastos told delegates: “Companies see Brazil as a major consumer market. We have an increasing middle class, which is about 55 per cent of the population. In the last ten years, personal income growth has been consistent at 4.5 to five per cent.”

Mr Johnson explained that the demand from inside Brazil for steel is exceptionally strong as the country is due to host the Football World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016. In the meantime, the country is also going through some major growth and is improving its infrastructure as a result.

Steel is also very much in demand in other growing economies, such as India and China, explained Mr Johnson.

He explained “The steel industry needs charcoal and charcoal comes form timbers. Brazil has passed laws to try to prevent the industry taking charcoal form forests and, as a result, there is major demand for sustainable produced charcoal.”
