Monika Mori Named as the Gallery’s New Featured Artist
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that contemporary artist Monika Mori is the gallery’s newest featured artist.
Jupiter, FL, USA (September 19, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that contemporary artist Monika Mori is the gallery’s newest featured artist. She will now be presented and promoted in the gallery’s Artist Showcase for the next 30 days.
Monika Mori, a/k/a MOO, was born in 1960 in Moedling, Austria. She had studies in Fine Art, amplified her scope as an artist by formal training courses and workshops throughout Europe and the United States.
The Austrian contemporary multimedia artist creates playful moody paintings, drawings and collages celebrating experiences and emotions animated by dazzling colors or strictly black and white. Her early works are highly expressive – she has always wanted the world to hear what she has to say, and these artistic communications embody her emotions, experiences and her delight at the interaction with color. For Mori, color is liberating.
In her series “Mystical Garden” which started in 2012 and found its renaissance this year, she creates flowers in a seemingly easy style. These drawings are a moral suasion to protect nature instead of manipulating seeds. It is her great concern that people relearn to think independently and to act accordingly. She thinks that mankind had become lazy, likes to have regulations in all areas so that they can make others responsible.
Mori’s work has been exhibited worldwide and is included in public and private collections around the globe. Her website http://www.mori-art.at.

Art Gallery Named Cortez Austin as Featured Artist
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that wildlife photographer Cortez Austin is the gallery’s newest featured artist.
Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that wildlife photographer Cortez Austin is the gallery’s newest featured artist. Cortez Austin bought a 35mm camera from a friend in 1976 and started on a long photographic journey which has taken him around the world recording the wonders of nature. Cortez graduated from Howard University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. He continued his education there taking graduate courses in microbiology. It was the great outdoors, however, rather than the laboratory that captured his passion.
Cortez has written articles for and has had his photographs published by some of the most prestigious magazines and book publishing companies such as National Geographic, WildBird, Birder’s World, National Audubon and the Nature Conservancy. He also taught nature photography part-time as a part of the upper school two dimensional art program at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. for 23 years.
During his 39 year career Cortez has won many awards and recognition in domestic and international competitions such as the Professional Photographers of America International Print Competition with whom he has photos in the coveted Loan Collection. In January he will receive the Master of Photography Degree from them along with a Silver Medal for having all of his images accepted into their most recent competition.
Cortez believes that, as much knowledge as you may accumulate in photography, the best photographers will always be students of the craft. Regarding his quest for photographs he states… “I make many sacrifices of money, comfort and safety to get to where I want to photograph. Once I get there I struggle to see things a new way, to get beyond the standard photograph. Often the most critical “skills” in photography are patience and perseverance in uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous situations.” His website is http://www.cortezaustinphotography.com.

The 6th Edition promises to bring about a Paradigm Shift in the perception of the arts.
Bangalore, India, 20th August, 2015 — The Collection – UB City and Sublime Galleria in association with the Prestige Group is gearing up for ‘YES BANK Art Bengaluru 2015’. Uzma Irfan – Conceptualizer and Organizer, ‘Art Bengaluru’ said, “The Indian art market currently has both good quality and discerning buyers. Globally, art is also increasingly becoming an alternate investment option. In this year’s edition of ‘Art Bengaluru’, we have attempted to bring together distinguished artists from across the globe, thus giving people an opportunity to experience, under one roof, the multitude of art forms available. This festival is not just for the art aficionados and collectors. We hope to promote the various art forms and create a greater understanding of art in the city with this initiative. We also encourage schools to bring in their students to make the most of this festival.”
Sharing his thoughts on this festival, Mr. Rana Kapoor – M.D. & CEO, YES BANK added, “It is extremely encouraging and motivating to be a part of Art Bengaluru; this leading global cultural event will bring together the best talent in modern and contemporary art. Our association with Art Bengaluru is YES BANK’s endeavor through its newly launched YES CULTURE initiative, to further enhance India’s stature in the global Art landscape, strengthen the vibrant socio-cultural fabric of our nation and celebrate contemporary India’s rich culture and heritage on a global scale. The amalgamation of the corporate sector and Art fraternity will play a major role in augmenting India’s cultural stature globally and provide new professional avenues for our nation’s talented and creative youth.”
Mr. Suresh Jayaram – Curator, ‘YES BANK Art Bengaluru 2015’ said, “This event is a confluence of creative energies that will challenge us. The curated section will contextualize the changing dynamics of an accelerated market economy. In the Post Capitalist context, the Mall is the new Art destination for interaction in the Urban scenario. It is here, that we wish to locate Art amidst Luxury. We want the audience to pause and contemplate the creative indulgence of the artist, and their ability to question reality. We wish to create new dynamics with the visual culture of our times. This interaction with Art is another attempt to make art accessible and make it become an integral part of our life and public discourse.”
Associate Sponsor for the festival, Mr. Satya Bagla – M.D., Exclusive Motors Pvt. Ltd. said, “Luxury and art have always gone hand-in-hand as they have two qualities in common – excellence and aesthetic. UB City is a landmark destination for all things related to Luxury, Art and Culture in Bangalore today. Bentley needs no introduction – it epitomises luxury and is considered an aspirational brand, the world over. As ‘Art Bengaluru’ enters into its 6th Edition, it was a natural choice for us to associate ourselves with this celebrated Art Festival, as it gives us a great opportunity to make our presence felt in Bangalore, while interacting with Bentley enthusiasts from across South India.”
The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Paradigm Shift’. In keeping with this theme, ‘YES BANK Art Bengaluru 2015’ hopes to promote a discovery of the arts from a change-inducing standpoint. Traditionally, art was symbolized by paintings, classical sculptures and so on. However, over the years, the very concept of ‘Art’ has undergone a sea change. With technological advancements, today, we have the opportunity to embrace a whole new set of art forms – interactive and immersive installations, among others. The rich interiors of The Collection, UB City will also be transformed to complement this year’s theme. The Bentley Mulsanne will be on display throughout the festival, further increasing the luxury quotient of the venue.

This year, the art is being curated by Suresh Jayaram. An artist, art historian, arts administrator and curator of national repute; he is a well-known name in the art world. About ‘Art Bengaluru’:
Launched in March 2010, ‘Art Bengaluru’ was started with the aim of celebrating art in its various forms. The idea behind the 10-day festival was to bring a multitude of artists and art forms from across India and the world under one roof, thus promoting art awareness as well as a deeper understanding of the arts. With advances in technology, as the world of Art grew to include newer and more exciting forms, ‘Art Bengaluru’ grew with it. After five successful editions, this annual art soiree has grown to become one of the most reputed art festivals in India today.
The venue for Art Bengaluru is the highly-acclaimed, The Collection, UB City, which is conveniently located in the heart of cosmopolitan Bangalore. Needless to say, the Tuscan architecture of UB City complements the art festival by creating an illusion of fluent expanse. Art displayed in this landmark area promises to enhance aesthetic awareness and create a sensory delight for the viewer.

About the Bentley Mulsanne:
The Mulsanne is much more than a simple pairing of luxury with power. Its fearsome acceleration, for example, is felt not as a sudden blast forward, but as a smooth surge of seemingly limitless power. The character of the V8 engine note, barely perceptible from inside the cabin while the car is cruising, builds to a rich, powerful roar on acceleration when the throttle is opened wide. For those with the drive to change the world, the Mulsanne is much more than a supremely comfortable car. It is both a place to make plans and a catalyst that can make them happen. The Mulsanne benefits from a re-engineered V8 engine, providing extra range and improvements in efficiency of 13%. Yet with an 8-speed automatic transmission boasting an electronic shift interface, there is no compromise on performance: The Mulsanne is capable of 184 mph (296 km/h). While a Sport mode exists for the serious driver – complete with a steering wheel-mounted paddleshift system – it is important to note that the Mulsanne was built for more than dynamic driving. Because life is about more than the speed one can get from A to B. It’s about the quality of the driving experience and the style in which the story is written.
