Miami, FL, USA — Miami Dade College West Campus Gallery – under the umbrella of The Museum of Contemporary Art + Design, and in collaboration with Contemporary Art Projects USA – will host the first Solo Exhibition of Austrian Contemporary Artist, Chris Delias titled: #CityofLife. The exhibit will be curated by Mariavelia Savino, Contemporary Art Projects USA’s Chief Curator, and held at West Gallery, 3800 N. W. 115 Avenue in Doral, Florida. The opening reception will take place on May 18, 2017, at 11:00 am.

Two issues have developed into our society’s highlights and an important part of the fashionable industry. The first one is the digital cell-phone as a picture taking camera with the ability of allowing its users to take selfies that are then posted in Social Media pages to be seen through the same cell-phone or another, as well as in a personal computer. The second issue is branding. It will refer to the clothing of the posers, and even to the brand of their car. In addition to brands such as Chanel, Vuitton, Nike, Ferrari or Lamborghini, just to name a few, today distinguished just by a simple logo or pattern that entitles the bearer to feel a somewhat superiority, there is now the digital practice of working with symbols to reduce wording and sentences. This has created the fashion of communicating by using “emojis” or “emoticons” that have shortened our language to like or unlike, smiles, tears or hearts, just to express with one only image what we feel or think on almost anything happening in our lives. This can be at the same time a positive or negative phenomena according to the point of view from which we judge it. Certainly, it is making to communicate universal for anybody, no matter where they are or what language they speak, going beyond location and the nature of the event portrayed.

However, according to artist Chris Delias: “3D printing is revolutionizing the way we design and build things. Several Social Media concepts have tried to digitalize our daily lives and the relationships between humans, all they do is make our lives more public and predictable. But: Social Media is just the symptom! The root cause of this sickness is superficiality. The result is what I call ‘Anti-Real-Relationship’ demonstrated in the artificial connections and relationships on various social media. For me it is terrible to see how real friends, real relations and feelings become less important and more voyeuristic. Of course, these social media have revolutionized the way we communicate and made it easier to stay connected regardless of where we are at any given moment. Everything that makes our lives easier and faster has a chance to be successful, but it leaves a gap between the digital and the real. My art intends to close this gap… My art should depict emotions, humans, faces in a way that you can’t find in our digitalized society. For me the spotlight is on the beauty of humanity, it’s my first priority – emotions caused by love, music, harmony… But, not only the sunny side of the world will be represented in my art – people don’t just love one another – they hate and fight – they lose, feel intense pain, experience crushing war and destruction, all of which are part of human interaction… My work should not show the reality 1:1 – the colors, proportions and poses I use are reflective of my emotions and feelings during the painting process. It is an interactive process between my soul, the model or person and the canvas – an interactive realism. My art is a projection of the reality to my soul.” Mariavelia Savino is the Curator of the exhibition.

Infinity SAV USA Nominated for the Katerva Award

Infinity SAV USA has been nominated by Katerva Award for sustainable innovations in Clean Energy.

Seattle, WA, USA — Infinity SAV USA (http://www.infinitysav.us) has been nominated for the Katerva Award for sustainable innovations in Clean Energy. Katerva Award (http://www.katerva.net) is often referred to as the Nobel Prize of Sustainability. Gary Tripp, President of Infinity SAV USA says their, “generator will stop Climate Change by eliminating CO2 from electricity and transportation and will cut the cost of power by 90%.” Katerva selects the companies with innovations that will change the market and the environment for the better and Infinity certainly does.

Infinity SAV USA technology claims it technology will replace fossil fuels for electricity and transportation. The company’s working generator prototype is powered by permanent magnets and produces 3 kW of excess energy. The generator has been demonstrated to hundreds of people including engineers and academics.

The Infinity generator technology will benefit everyone – the poor villager with no electricity, who has to walk miles for water and the clogged cites breathing polluted air. Infinity’s generator powered solely by permanent magnets will replace fossil fuels for electricity and transportation.

Infinity SAV USA Incorporated is developing an electric generator to power homes and small businesses for as little as $0.02 per kWh. The goal is to stop climate change, save the environment, and save money.

The company has uploaded several video demonstrations to YouTube and those videos have received 500,000 views, and many many requests to purchase generators. The company plans to use this technology as the starting point to develop a 20 kW generator that will completely power a house or small business.

The company’s founder and inventor, Andrii Slobodian, explains that the generator has permanent magnets in the stator and coils of copper wire in the rotor. When a magnet approaches a coil of copper wire, it induces a like polarity in the coil. North induces North and North repels North and that causes the rotor to spin and creates power.

Skeptics say it is impossible because it violates the Law of Conservation of Energy. Infinity responds by pointing to their working prototype. Magnets are caused by quantum mechanical spin of unpaired electrons. The company believes their generator conforms with Law of Conservation of Energy on the quantum level. Electron spin may be the source of the quantum effect causing this new source of energy. (Electrons don’t spin, it is just shorthand for “maintaining their magnetic dipole moment.”)

The company is using the crowdfunding site Fundable.com to raise money to complete the engineering in the US for a bigger version of the generator.

The many benefits of this new energy source include cheap, clean, renewable, 24/7 electricity with no CO2. These generators could be used to power a house, charge the battery of electric cars, or provide power in remote locations. Decreasing the cost of electricity and stopping pollution will benefit everyone, especially the poorest among us.

Avoid Google Docs Phishing with Cyber Security Awareness Training for Boards, CEOs and Employees

Edgar Perez, author of Knightmare on Wall Street and The Speed Traders, provides essential cyber security awareness training to reduce the risk that employees and partners can fall victim to sophisticated phishing or social engineering methods and unknowingly serve as entry points into the firm’s information and data systems.

New York City, NY, USA — An unusually sophisticated identity phishing campaign that targeted Gmail users and sought to gain control of their entire email histories was revealed by Google last week.

The worm, which arrived in users’ inboxes posing as an email from trusted contacts, asked users to check out an attached “Google Docs,” or GDocs, file. Clicking on the link took them to a real Google security page, where users were asked to give permission for the fake app, posing as GDocs, to manage users’ email account. To make matters worse, the worm also sent itself out to all of the affected users’ contacts reproducing itself hundreds of times any time a single user fell for it.

While the worm caused havoc for millions of users because of its unusually sophisticated construction, firms that trusted cybersecurity expert and trainer Edgar Perez would have been spared the expensive and embarrassing experience of having their information compromised. Mr. Perez’s programs target boards, CEOs and employees and turns them into the company’s first line of defense. Mods4cars SmartTOP Add-on Soft Top Control is Now Available for Ferrari 458 Spider

As of now, the SmartTOP soft top control system from the manufacturer Mods4cars is also available for the Ferrari 458 Spider. The retrofit cabriolet module allows you to operate the convertible top while driving with one-touch. In addition, the roof can be opened and closed from afar via the car key.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), May 5th, 2017 — The retrofit SmartTOP roof module for the Ferrari 458 Spider is now available. The latest development from the company Mods4cars facilitates the convertible day with nifty additional functions. “In addition to the Ferrari 360, F430 Spider and California, we now offer a comfortable solution for the Ferrari 458 Spider,” explains PR spokesman Sven Tornow.

The SmartTOP soft top control is retrofitted to the vehicle. After installation it is possible, among other things, to open and close the convertible top while driving at a speed of up to 40 km/h. For this, only the tapping of the interior button is required. The convertible top movement is performed automatically. This is a timesaver!

In addition, the roof can be opened and closed from afar via the car key. Pressing a key combination on the remote control activates the convertible top movement. “Our customers can already open their convertible tops as they move toward the vehicle and start their journey top down,” says PR spokesman Sven Tornow. A change to the car key is not necessary for this function.

Other than the two main functions, further features are offered: The windows position can be set for after the convertibles top movement. It is adjustable whether the windows should automatically be raised or lowered after opening the top. In addition, the windows can be opened and closed via the remote control.

Starting or stopping the engine does not interrupt the convertibles top movement. All functions can be configured according to personal wishes. Thanks to a USB port attached to the SmartTOP module, the module can be connected to the home PC. Programming can however also be done directly in the vehicle.

A plug-and-play installation kit is included in the package to ensure easy installation. Connection between the SmartTOP module and vehicle electronics is made by simply plugging together. As no cables are cut through, an untraceable removal is possible at any time.

Since 2002 Mods4cars has been manufacturing their smart cabriolet modules. The following vehicle brands are supported so far: Alfa, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Volvo and Volkswagen. SmartTOP soft top controls are also available for the Ferrari models 360 Spider, F430 Spider and California.

The comfort control for the Ferrari 458 Spider is available for 299,00 Euro + tax.

About Mods4cars:
Mods4cars was founded in 2002 from the idea to add a highly demanded feature to the otherwise almost perfect Porsche Boxster: Comfort One-Touch roof operation while driving at slow speeds. The resulting product offered not only that, but also allowed quick and easy installation by just swapping out a relay box, thus leaving no traces and no permanent changes on the vehicle. The first SmartTOP roof controller was born.

The success of their first products in Germany and Europe prompted them in late 2004 to move operations to the USA, to be able to serve the American market as well as all other English speaking countries such as Australia, UK and South Africa from one central location. Their business has grown to a full-fledged international corporation with an office in Las Vegas and a full line of innovative products as well as distributors and installation partners all over the globe.

Being highly specialized in the development and distribution of aftermarket roof- and comfort controllers since 2002 allows them to offer an unsurpassed level of competence and product quality. Their main goal is optimization of each individual product to a maximum in compatibility, usability and intuitive operation. They put greatest effort into development and quality checks of all their products to achieve this goal and meet all expectations of their customers.

The extraordinary success of their products is also based on the great communication with their customers, which usually already starts for each new product during the development and prototyping phase.

Lufft Launches Vs20k Sensor To Measure Visibility Up To 20 Km

Baden-Wurttemberg (realtimepressrelease) May 5, 2017 – Measurement technology manufacturer Lufft announced the official launch of the VS20k. This is the first Lufft visibility sensor on the market that can measure at distances of up to 20 kilometers, thus making it particularly suitable for meteorological applications or airport monitoring. It’s an addition to the Lufft VS2k visibility sensor with a range of two km.

The right technology to measure reduced visibility

Air saturated with water particles, fine dust, or sand can lead to reduced visibility – a risk factor that all too frequently leads to road and air traffic accidents. Between 2011 and 2015, there were 3,277 accidents on German highways, with 107 of the 3,686 people injured killed.

Lufft’s VS2k and VS20k sensors ensure greater safety on the roads and warn of emergent poor visibility conditions. Both sensors detect visibility at ranges of up to two or 20 kilometers respectively by using measuring reflectance in accordance with the 45° forward scattering principle and deliver updated results every minute. A maximum reading means that the visibility is clear.

Applications, technical details, and advantages of the new visibility sensor

Since meteorological services and airports require reliable sensors with a particularly large measuring range, Lufft has created the VS20k visibility sensor with a measurement range of up to 20 km. It complements theVS2k sensor which measures up to two km. The two sensors are based on the same measuring technique and only differ in terms of certain hardware components and the firmware.

Both the VS2k and the VS20k are low-maintenance. This is due to the anodized and seawater-resistant housing offering IP66-class protection. An intelligent self-monitoring function detects and reports dirt on the lens. The electronics’ automatic zero-point calibration also helps to reduce maintenance intervals. Lufft offers a suitable calibration kit for further on-site calibration measures.

The Lufft UMB visibility sensors can connect with the measurement network via RS485 half-duplex 2-wire and SDI-12 interface.

Vibration for active spider defense

In previous visibility sensor models, spider nests repeatedly affected the accuracy of measurements, resulting in extensive maintenance requirements. This is now a thing of the past thanks to a vibrating motor, a special coating on the unit housing, as well as interference detection.

At a glance: VS2k and VS20k visibility sensors

– 10 to 2,000 or 10 to 20,000 meters measuring range

– Forward scattering method

– Zero-point calibration of the electronics

– Active spider defense

– Self-monitoring of the lenses

– Anodized, seawater-resistant housing with special coating

– Calibration kit (optional)

Souleye’s “Hip Hop Medicine” Single Feat. Dustin Tavella is Available Now!

Just in time for summer, conscious hip hop artist SOULEYE drops a new single from his forthcoming studio album WILDMAN.

Los Angeles, CA, May 04, 2017 — Just in time for summer, conscious hip hop artist SOULEYE drops a new single from his forthcoming studio album WILDMAN. “HIP HOP MEDICINE” is the kind of infectious, upbeat dance hit that makes summer fun. For this track, producers JESSE MOLLOY and DAVE VEITH, better known as the duo Crush Effect, recruited a familiar voice.

Pop singer DUSTIN TAVELLA provides a soulful yet upbeat lyric quality to the song, which he describes as a song with a “throwback feel,” recalling summer dance hits like those beachhouse hits from MTV’s glory days. Dustin credits Jesse and Dave with his participation.

“Jesse Molloy had approached me about getting on the track with SOULEYE,” Dustin reveals. “I love everything that Jesse and Crush Effect produce so it didn’t surprise me when I head the record and how infectious it is.”

“Hip Hop Medicine” is featured as a bonus track on WILDMAN, which drops on streaming and online June 27. With its fun beats, clever hook and sing-along lyrics, “Hip Hop Medicine” is a single with the makings of the breakout hit of 2017.

Even with the popular focus and catchy hook, Souleye’s conscious style still shines through, while his effortless lyrics showcase his deep roots as a master freestyler. Much of the new album was written during a three-day period, in a makeshift studio off the Vancouver coast. The almost freestyled lyrics, backing tracks and vocals represent the height of genre-bending artistry of a Souleye song, something Dustin loved to be a part of.

“As an artist, it’s always fun to collaborate and be a part of something with someone who is also so passionate about creating,” Dustin says. “It’s obvious that Souleye loves his craft, and that just makes me appreciate these kinds of projects ever more.”

Part of Fulham’s growing line of clever LED lighting products, the LED Shoebox Retrofit Kit has a programmable driver that can be configured for 165W to 53W for greater versatility and low power consumption, with seven programmable wattage settings for multiple lumen outputs (preset by request). Smooth dimming can be programmed from 100 percent to 10 percent or 0 percent. The unit also is compatible with daylight harvesting controls, occupancy sensors, and building automation systems.

“We designed the new LED Shoebox Retrofit Kit for versatility as well as performance. Our clever lighting initiative gives OEMs and installers programmable flexibility to configure and control our LED lighting to suit multiple applications,” said Russ Sharer, Vice President of Global Marketing for Fulham. “Our new LED Shoebox Retrofit Kits can be used with different voltages and programmed for different power consumption, wattage settings, and lumen outputs. With clever programmability, customers can store fewer parts and be assured of compatibility and easy installation.”

The LED Shoebox Retrofit Kit can be installed either into a screw-in luminaire with an E39 or E26 base, or using a direct mount bracket. A protective lens enclosure is included and rated as a high voltage barrier that meets the 5VA flame rating. The surface-mount LEDs on the DC module also feature NTC thermal feedback, and the thermal heatsink fin design for best lumen and life performance.

Fulham will be displaying the LED Shoebox Retrofit Kit and other products at Lightfair in Booth 3101. Fulham’s line of LED lighting units is available from Fulham locations worldwide. For more information, visit http://www.fulham.com.
