Discover How to Volley Like The Pros and Win More Points at The Net

Free Four-Part Video Series “The Tennis Volley Solution” Offered By Former Top 100 ATP Pro And Stanford All-American Jeff Salzenstein

Denver, CO, May 21, 2013 – Roger Federer, Martina Navratilova and Pete Sampras make it look so easy when they come to the net and finish points with a winning volley. Jeff Salzenstein, the former top 100 ATP Tour singles and doubles player and noted high performance tennis instructor, has developed a fool-proof system to help players and coaches discover the secrets to the volley that these top pros use when they play.

The former two-time All-American from Stanford University has launched a free four-part video series showing how tennis players can fix their volleys and win more points at the net. This powerful video series on the volley is available to you for a very limited time for free by clicking here: http://jstennis.iljmp.com/1/ykbns

“A large majority of recreational tennis players play doubles rather than singles, making the volley an essential part of your tennis game,” said Salzenstein. “In my free four-part video series, I’ll teach you proper techniques that the best volleyers in the history of tennis use to win points at the net. You not only win more points in singles and doubles with your volley, but I will show you how hit the most difficult volleys that will help you keep the ball in play so you will not lose points.”

In the first free video, Salzenstein reveals how you can use the “shoulder tilt method” to easily handle low forehand volleys. In the second free video, Jeff will show you how to use the “Carioca” footwork pattern to effectively deal with balls that come right at you. Then, in the third free video, Salzenstein gives you a powerful lesson on how to make more high
forehand volleys, a shot every player needs to make more often to win more points at the net. Finally, in the fourth video lesson, Jeff will make a very special announcement to all those that register for this free volley series.”

A USTA-certified High Performance tennis coach and a certified nutritional therapy practitioner, Salzenstein is regarded as one of the best coaches in the world. Jeff has always been an intense student of the game, consulting with players and coaches all over the world on their tennis games and teaching methods. He played in the main draw of all four Grand Slam tournaments, extending world No. 2 Michael Chang to 6-4 in the fourth-set in a wildly entertaining second round night match at the US Open in 1997. His professional career extended from 1996 until 2007, earning a top 100 ranking for the first time at the age of 30. Jeff has competed against or practiced with the likes of Roger Federer, Michael Chang, Pete Sampras, Andy Roddick, Patrick Rafter, James Blake, Mardy Fish, David Nalbandian, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga among many others.

Salzenstein was known for his unwavering determination, perseverance and intelligence in maximizing his abilities and talents as a player and now brings his passion for tennis into the world of coaching. After enjoying a successful USTA national junior tennis career where he finished 1992 ranked No. 2 in the boys’ 18 singles rankings, he was a two-time All-American where he played No. 1 singles for Stanford University and helped his team to a pair of NCAA team titles in 1995 and 1996. Jeff also enjoyed tremendous success on the USTA Pro Circuit, winning numerous singles and doubles titles on the Challenger level. He sat out most of the 1998 and 1999 seasons with knee, back and ankle injuries, but became the first American to break into the top 100 of the ATP Tour rankings after the age of 30 in 2004. His best ATP Tour result came in reaching the semifinals of Delray Beach, Fla., in
2004, beating Greg Rusedski en route.

Since leaving the pro circuit, Salzenstein founded JRS Sports, LLC, an organization focused on helping tennis players all over the world improve their tennis through online tennis instruction in the areas of technique, footwork, nutrition, injury prevention, motivation, and athletic development. His www.JeffSalzensteinTennis.com website has become a vibrant online tennis instructional portal that is setting a new standard in online tennis instruction. Salzenstein has 18,000 free subscribers to his online video tutorial website. Jeff has over 200 instructional tennis lessons on YouTube with almost three million views.

Salzenstein also has a successful membership site called “The Total Tennis Training Inner Circle” that has over 700 members from more than 30 countries. Salzenstein launched his first online tennis course, “The Tennis Forehand Solution,” in 2011 which has gained an impressive following around the world with more than 1,000 subscribers. In 2012 he launched another wildly successful course “Tennis Serves Secrets.” For more information on Salzenstein, go to his website at www.JeffSalzensteinTennis.com or follow him on Twitter at @JeffSalzenstein

Deanne Demarco’s Show Features Brushes with Death and Life-Changing Leadership

Host Deanne DeMarco interviews Kelly Standing, whose near-death experiences turned into a life-affirming adventure, and Dr. Patricia Arredondo, an inspiring multicultural counselor and women’s advocate. DeMarco’s show, “Today’s Inspiring Women,” airs noon Pacific on Thursday on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Network.

Hillside, IL, May 19, 2013 – One woman has turned a lifetime of near-death experiences into an amazingly positive outlook on life. Another has spent her life as a passionate multicultural counselor, social justice advocate and promoter of women’s leadership.

You’ll be able to hear the remarkable and inspiring stories of these two women, Kelly Standing and Dr. Patricia Arredondo, on the next episode of Deanne DeMarco’s high-energy and info-packed radio show, “Today’s Inspiring Women.”

Both women are guests next Thursday, May 23, during Deanne DeMarco’s weekly hour-long program on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Radio network.

The word “extraordinary” doesn’t begin to cover Kelly Standing’s life which she reveals in her memoir, “I’M STILL STANDING: How One Woman’s Brushes with Death Taught Her How To Live.”

The brushes with death? Hanged from a tree by a childhood bully. Hit by a car. Struck by lightning. Removal of a major organ (which contrary to medical precedent actually grew back). And on top of all that—four of her co-workers were brutally murdered. Learning how to live? Kelly has traveled the globe; ranked among the top nine public speakers in the world out of 25,000 contestants and 180,000 Toastmasters; served as student chaplain to criminal youth; worked as a hospital chaplain in a Level-One trauma center; and now runs her own company, STANDING Media, focusing on individuals and organizations who want to rally around change and adversity.

Deanne DeMarco, who has twenty successful years as a career coach and entrepreneur, said, “Kelly’s brushes with death have given her an uncommonly positive, even fearless attitude. She calls it a ‘Recipe for Resilience.’ She shares it in her book and I’m thrilled she will be sharing it with my audience.”

Dr. Patricia Arredondo is President of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), Chicago Campus. She joined the school in February after senior administrative roles with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Arizona State University. Formerly, she created and led a Boston-based organizational consulting company for 14 years.

Author of more than 100 articles, book chapters and training videos, Patricia has an extensive scholarship record with a focus on multicultural counseling and women’s leadership. Her contributions in her field have been acknowledged with numerous accolades including the “Living Legend” award from the American Counseling Association (ACA) and Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 45. She is the 2013 recipient of the prestigious Henry Tomes Award for Distinguished Lifetime Contributions to the Advancement of Ethnic Minority Interests.

DeMarco said, “I will be asking Patricia about her emphasis on the need for women, especially minority women, to get a great education. Her main message is to ‘prepare,’ ‘plan’ and be ready to move when opportunities presents themselves.”

Deanne DeMarco herself has used her innovative strategies—drawn from successful experiences as a scientist, college instructor, management trainer, Fortune 500 manager, author and entrepreneur—to help business executives and individuals break through personal and career roadblocks. Each week she interviews extraordinary and inspiring women who may not yet be household names but are business and entrepreneurial rising stars.

CSU-Global Offers Greater Insight Into Out-Of-Pocket Costs of Degree Completion, Access to Tuition Planners

Colorado State University-Global Campus takes a proactive approach in helping students who use Federal financial aid properly plan for degree completion.

Greenwood Village, CO, May 17, 2013 – Colorado State University-Global Campus (CSUGlobal.edu) today announced that it has implemented an innovative practice to help students better understand the out-of-pocket cost of their education and ensure that they have the funds they need to complete their degrees. New students who use Federal financial aid will now receive greater insight into their borrowing history and have access to Tuition Planners available to provide counseling, guidance and support.

Student loan debt in the United States recently surpassed $1 trillion and as an institution with a mission to help adults complete bachelor’s degrees and earn master’s degrees, CSU-Global has seen many of its recently admitted students bring significant loan debt accrued while attending other institutions. To help inform students of their loan obligations beyond Federal loan best practices and requirements, CSU-Global has notified current students of their borrowing associated with Federal loan limits.

Additionally, all new students who have been accepted for enrollment into CSU-Global and who use Federal financial aid, are being provided a statement which reflects their borrowing to-date and the additional funds that they will need to complete their degrees at CSU-Global. Before taking their first course with CSU-Global, new students who are close to their Federal loan limit receive special counseling that integrates their degree plan needs, less expensive credit alternatives than CSU-Global standard course credit, and information on their loan limit status.

“CSU-Global is focused on adult degree completion as a pathway to workplace success. In the area of bachelor’s degrees, we embrace nontraditional transfer students who might not otherwise be able to optimize their previous course work and complete their degrees as they are able to at CSU-Global,” stated Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, President of CSU-Global Campus. “Bachelor’s degree transfer students, and some master’s degree students, bring to us their various credits and their Federal loan history which has accumulated over the years to be at or close to their loan limits. We want to help both our current students and those now seeking enrollment at the university to more proactively manage what remains of their Federal loan funds.”

As part of its role as a public non-profit institution, CSU-Global believes that it is has the responsibility to provide transparency in all of its processes and to provide direct and clear communication to its students. The university conducted a review of all of its students to understand their varying paths to successful degree completion and has reached out to those that appear to have insufficient funds for basic tuition and book costs for remaining credit hours.

“CSU-Global is committed to student success in achieving degree completion. Our Tuition Planners will assist students in understanding their financial loan status and provide information on other financial resources or alternative ways to complete their degrees in a financially responsible way,” concluded Ms. Pamela Toney, Senior Director of Financial Services.

Geothermic Fuel Cell™ Prototype Moves IEP One Step Closer to Commercialization

Independent Energy Partners, Inc. (IEP) with partner Delphi Corporation successfully tested an initial single stack geothermic fuel cell™ (GFC) prototype, keeping IEP on track for field testing and initial oil production at a test site by mid 2015.

Denver, CO, May 17, 2013 — Independent Energy Partners, Inc. successfully tested an initial single stack geothermic fuel cell™ (GFC) prototype, keeping them on track for field testing and initial oil production at a test site by mid 2015. The fuel cells will be used to heat underground oil shale formations in situ or in place. Testing confirms the fuel cells will be able to generate the high temperatures needed to extract both liquid and gas hydrocarbons from the oil shale while simultaneously generating clean electricity.

“This is a huge milestone for us as it confirms the concept and sets us nicely on the path toward full-scale prototype and field testing without any unexpected delays,” said Al Forbes, IEP’s President and CEO. “The Delphi team’s deep experience in solid oxide fuel cells certainly helped us meet this milestone confidently.”

IEP has put more than ten years into patenting, designing and developing the geothermic fuel cell technology using the US Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to help refine the concept and Delphi Corporation’s solid oxide fuel cell expertise to develop, build and test the GFC prototype.

Delphi Corporation was chosen to build the GFCs because of their expertise in solid oxide fuel cell technology and manufacturing capabilities. The partnership is already paying off with this successful first-round prototype passing both internal testing at Delphi and additional outside testing at the Colorado School of Mines Colorado Fuel Cell Center in preparation for the large-scale stack testing later this year.

“It’s exciting—especially in new clean technologies—to have such a successful first prototype,” said Dan Hennessy, chief engineer, Advanced Engineering, Delphi Powertrain Systems. “Our team is already working on assembling the next prototype and anticipating similar success when we test it later this year.”

Geothermic Fuel Cells will expedite nature’s underground heating process to turn kerogen into a producible, usable oil product. Current technologies require either surface mining and crushing the shale or using large amounts of coal-fired electricity to power heating rods inserted in a formation. IEP’s technology becomes self-fueling after brief start-up period. The natural byproduct of the fuel cell is heat, which heats the kerogen in the formation to a vapor that can be transported and collected above ground. Most of the electricity produced by the fuel cells is available as a clean, base load energy source for local utilities.

With US oil shale reserves estimated at more than 1.5 trillion barrels of oil that are not currently viable to recover, IEP’s technology stands to open huge energy reserves in the United States and abroad. The GFCs have many additional applications, including a growing interest in their use in landfill pyrolysis to both reduce landfill mass and create clean, base load energy for municipalities.

Field-testing is scheduled for early to mid 2015.

About Independent Energy Partners:
Independent Energy Partners (IEP) is a clean technology and resource company based in Denver, Colorado focused on the economic and environmentally responsible recovery of unconventional hydrocarbon resources utilizing its patented, breakthrough in-situ Geothermic Fuel Cell™(GFC™) system. IEP was founded in 1991 and has been involved in the development of more than 15 energy projects employing a wide range of technologies. The company holds exclusive rights to broad, patented GFC processes and technology in the U.S. and Canada as well as its own oil shale resources containing more than 2.0 billion barrels of oil. Patenting and technological development has been underway since 2004 and has been vetted by the US Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. IEP holds strategic partnerships with Total Petroleum, Uintah Resources, Inc., Delphi Corporation and Colorado School of Mines. Learn more about the compan y and its technology at www.iepm.com.

New Single “Tempted” to be Released on iTunes May 28th

Singer/songwriter Margo Rey today announced her newest single and latest cover of Squeeze’s 80’s track, “Tempted.”

Los Angeles, CA, May 14, 2013 – Singer/songwriter Margo Rey today announced her newest single and latest cover of Squeeze’s 80’s track, “Tempted.” After several male renditions of the British rock band’s piece, Margo decided to turn the tables with an updated pop/R&B female version of the classic tune.

“Tempted” brings out a smooth vibe while still displaying Margo’s very own melodic flair. The single will be available for radio adds starting on May 13th and available for a US digital release on iTunes May 28th.

“When I was approached about doing a cover for my next single, I knew immediately that “Tempted” was the song I wanted to sing and re-arrange as an homage to this very talented band, Squeeze which actually had 3 different singers in the song Glenn TilbrookChris Difford, & Paul Carrack,” states Margo on her thoughts of the making of “Tempted. “I had a fantastic time producing it with my dear friend and collaborator, Barrett Yeretsian.  I am so thankful to Squeeze for writing and recording an unforgettable song that has been my “Habit” to sing for years.”

Following her latest release, “Habit” and in the midst of battling breast cancer, Margo hasn’t stopped pursuing her music. She received much recognition after performing at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel for a special one night event benefitting The Noreen Fraser Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on raising funds for women’s cancer research. Her husband and stand up comedian, Ron White, stood by her side as he hosted the event.

In her latest album “Habit,” Margo put together a variety of organic sounds with every bit of emotion put into each song. The Indie Music Digest says, “Her musical/vocal style is cut from the cloth of Celine Dion, Bonnie Raitt and Shania Twain.” – but I will add she can go toe to toe with any of them vocally.

Working in the music business since she was only eleven years old, Margo continues to provide an array of rich vocals with smooth tunes and funky beats as showcased in her latest single.

To Celebrate its 9th Anniversary, Luxury Travel Ltd . Reveals the Successful Story of Vietnam’s First Luxury Travel and Tour Operator

“Besides having a passion for travelling, reading, walking and golf, I love to seek luxury,” admits Pham Ha, the CEO of Luxury Travel Ltd.

Hanoi, Vietnam, May 14, 2013 – “Besides having a passion for travelling, reading, walking and golf, I love to seek luxury,” admits Pham Ha, the CEO of Luxury Travel Ltd (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com).

He’s not alone. As Vietnam’s economy strengthens, the tourism industry is inevitably expanding its own horizons. Once considered as more of a backpacker destination, now with growing high-end options, Vietnam is attracting a different kind of tourist.

Options might still be considered limited and infrastructure below international standards. But that’s where Ha’s company steps in. On a mission to promote the luxurious side of Vietnam, Ha hopes to coax more high-end travelers and businesspeople to the country.

But that doesn’t mean just booking five-star hotels and fancy dinners for a whirlwind tour along Vietnam’s coastline. He admits he’s haunted by one former clients’ indifferent dismissal of Vietnam as “beautiful but boring,” so his company goes the whole nine yards to ensure customers have the holiday of a lifetime.

The philosophy of Luxury Travel (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) is to find top quality services, unique experiences and sophistication and create perfect packages for the most discerning of travellers. Ha knows that to have a dream vacation the traveller must experience pleasure, comfort and total satisfaction.

Whether the client wants to hide in the tropical jungle, kick back on the beach, discover Vietnam’s culinary delights, trek to a hill tribe village or relax in style in a luxury vacation villa, Luxury Travel Vietnam will come up with the goods – minimizing on travel time and maximizing experiences.

“Simply envision any vacation experience you want, name it, and we will deliver it in style – that’s Luxury Travel,” he stresses.

As a child, Ha had always dreamed of travelling around the world. After graduating from Hanoi Teachers’ Training College and National Economics University, Ha worked as a teacher but soon wanderlust set in and he quit teaching to take a job as a tour guide, tour operator, PR, sales and marketing man.

After 12 years in the industry, Pham Ha found his own business in 2004 providing luxury tours in Vietnam. Besides providing sightseeing tours, Luxury Travel also arranges accommodation, airport transfers, regional flights, train tickets, visas, superior guides and other logistics in advance. The company guides speak Vietnamese, Chinese, English, French and German and are selected for their open-mindedness, motivation and enthusiasm.

“It may be my fate. Firstly, I do this because I want to satisfy my passion to discover,” says Ha. “But it’s also my pleasure to introduce the beauty of Vietnam to foreigners.” To turn a private passion into a tourist business, Pham Ha had to be patient.

“In the beginning, I had 12 years of work experience but not so much money!” says Ha with a smile.

Despite his meager savings of $1,000, Ha was determined to pursue his dream. Now four years later, his company employs 60 luxury travel advisors and top guides, owns a fleet of Mercedes and has offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang and management offices in South East Asia.

Each of the guides must be an expert traveler and know how to make the client’s travel experience truly special, truly hassle-free, and truly enriching.

“I love my country and its destinations, and I do my best to make sure that my customers feel the same way,” says Ha.

Ha aims to introduce a contemporary Vietnam – a country that is young, dynamic and exotic. Beyond the cyclos, pho and ao dai, Vietnam is gaining a reputation for its breathtaking beaches, luxurious resorts and golf courses.

“It’s not difficult to find luxury hotels. Now is the time for upscale travelers and MICE to come to Vietnam,” says Ha.

At Ha’s office, there is a visitors’ book which is filled with entries by satisfied customers.

“We recently returned from our wonderful 15 day journey to Vietnam and Cambodia arranged by Luxury Travel Vietnam,” writes Pamela Solvang. “We can’t thank you enough for providing such an excellent travel experience for us from start to finish. The three of us on this trip have all traveled extensively, all around the world. We have used the best luxury travel companies in the US and elsewhere and can attest that Luxury Travel provides excellent services!”

Attention to detail sums up Ha’s approach very well. He knows high-end travelers don’t settle for below standard services, even if Vietnam is still a developing country, tours must run smoothly.

As Vietnam continues to assert its presence on the world stage, the number of visitors is surging and Ha is confidently waiting, ready to accommodate those who are looking to bask in the lap of luxury.
