A Brief about His Holiness Dhyanyogi Omdasji Maharaj:

Dhyanyogi Omdasji is the third in line of the Illustrious Gurus of Kundalini Maha Yoga.

His Guru is Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji who brought the Kundalini Shaktipat and Yoga to the masses in India and West. And his Param Guru is Dhyanyogi Parameshwardasji who is reputed to be an immortal.

Dhyanyogi Omdasji was born into the Path of Yoga. His paternal and maternal relatives were great siddhas and yogis.

He is well known in the sadhu and saint community in India for he has lived with them during his childhood and is connected with them now too.

Before reaching the age of twenty, he was instrumental in conducting the Kumbh Mela in Allahabad and was the head of several Mutts. He gave up everything after he became the Gadipati of Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji. Quoting the words of Dhyanyogi Omdasji about his Guru: “the love and grace of Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji and the Honor of Gadipati that he has bestowed on me are the highest achievements I can attain”

Omdasji spent several years in spiritual practices and tapas to prepare himself to meet his Sadguru. His prayers were answered the day he met his Sadguru Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji.

Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji was among the greatest Kundalini Yogis born in India. The saint community in India equated his status to that of Shri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa. He was an adept who could transfer his own energy and awaken the Kundalini Shakti of another person by touch, mantra or even intent from distance. This awakening of the Kundalini Shakti is called Shaktipat.

Kundalini Shakti is the primordial energy or power which gives life to the human fetus at the seventh month in the mother’s womb and then goes to sleep at the base of the spinal column of the fetus. As long as the Kundalini Shakti is not awakened, man lives a materialistic life ensnared by his desires and ambitions. Only when the Kundalini Shakti is awakened and actively starts moving upwards towards the crown of the head, a human being is truly set on his return journey to Divinity.

Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji was old and needed a worthy successor. Even before meeting Omdasji, he knew that Omdasji was the rightful successor to Seat of the Guru. Later on he revealed to Omdasji how had in the past, mentally guided him to visit certain power spots and do spiritual practices and prepare himself for the day when they would both meet. Thus a truly worthy disciple received the Shaktipat from a great Master and Yogi.

Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji had appointed several teachers and bestowed on them rights to give Shaktipat and mantras to the beginners in the path and teach meditation. These teachers had limited capacities, abilities and powers. Only Omdasji was able to receive and hold all the powers and grace that his Guru transferred to him.

So on 14th July 1992, during the Guru Purnima celebrations, Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji anointed Omdasji as his Gadipati and successor in the Hansol Ashram in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He declared that he had selected his spiritually most powerful, devoted and worthy disciple as his successor. The title of ‘DHYANYOGI’ was bestowed on Omdasji. This coronation ceremony was witnessed and attended by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, heads of different religions, dignitaries, prominent citizens, members of the sadhu community and people from all walks of life.

In the midst of such a gathering of people and media, Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji spoke of the qualities of his successor and endorsed the spiritual heights obtained by Omdasji by publicly declaring: I bow down in reverence to this great ocean of knowledge of all Yogic Sciences and Scriptures, who is full of compassion and a fervent devotee of Shri Rama.

Among other features, the SmartTOP module allows one-touch operation of the convertible top while driving at slow speeds as well as controlling the top from the original factory key fob remote.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), May 26th, 2014 — Aftermarket automotive electronics specialist Mods4cars revamped the design of the SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller modules. Just in time for the upcoming convertible season 2014 the SmartTOP module for Volkswagen EOS received the facelift product enclosure. The enclosure was exclusively and custom designed by Mods4cars for this product.

“The new design is not just an improvement in esthetics. It also makes installation much easier for our customers” says PR-Manager Sven Tornow. The new enclosure houses two LEDs that show current status, correct connections or trouble codes during installation. “Additionally the new SmartTOP enclosure is 30% smaller in volume and slimmer. Therefore it can be installed a lot easier in tight spaces.” Sven Tornow continues.

“We are happy to announce that we were able to make installation of our SmartTOP aftermarket kit for the VW EOS easier yet again.” Sven Tornow concludes. A while back the outfit introduced a plug-and-play wiring adapter. This adapter was also custom designed and allows installing the module by simply connecting a few plugs with the car electronics. It uses perfect fit connectors with secure latches to ensure a tight fit while preventing any kind of wrong connection.

The SmartTOP Convertible Top Control module for Volkswagen EOS allows owners to open and close the top while driving at slow speeds (user programmable up to 44 km/h / 28mph) using convenient one-touch operation. It is no longer necessary to pull over and hold down the top switch. SmartTOP customers get both hands back on the steering wheel a lot faster.

Additionally it is possible to control the top from a distance by just using the supplied factory remote fobs. Walking toward their EOS, customers can already start opening the top and drive off with the top down. Sudden rainfall is no longer a reason to run to the car, instead the top can be conveniently closed from a distance.

Along with these two main features there is a host of bonus features present in the module, all of which are user programmable. It is possible to separately control the windows from the remote, activate a quick chirp signal when locking or unlocking the car and the hazard blinkers can be activated during remote operation.

The direction of the top switch can be reversed and it is possible to override the trailer lockout and use the top with attached trailer. A park assist feature lowers the passenger mirror when in reverse and starting or stopping the engine will not stop an ongoing top operation when in extended mode. The entire module can also be temporarily disabled while retaining all user settings.

All features can be configured and the product can be updated via USB connection and PC/Mac computer software available free of charge online. Updates for the product firmware are also free of charge for the life of the product.

The SmartTOP kit for Volkswagen EOS is available for 249 Euro + tax.

Texprocil Study Finds Robust Figures For Cotton Yarn Export From India, Outlook Bright

Mumbai, India, May 24, 2014 — A study conducted by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, (Texprocil) has revealed that India’s Cotton Yarns exports are meeting their targets barring the seasonal fluctuations generally witnessed every April and inspite of high raw cotton prices. Statistics revealed by TEXPROCIL show that India exported 1,082 mn kgs of cotton yarn valued at US$ 3.75 billion in the first 10 months (April – January) of fiscal year 2013-14. It is estimated that cotton yarn export for the full fiscal year 2013-14 would be around 1,350 mn kgs valued at US$ 4.70 billion. The high quality of Indian yarn is ensuring firm orders for Indian Mills from the international markets.

Exports of cotton yarn dropped during last three years in the month of April and it happened in 2014 too. One of the reasons, in addition to the high year end exports which cause a drop in April, is the temporary high cotton prices during this period. Last year as well as this year during the month of March and April Indian cotton prices have gone above the international prices for cotton upto 40s count. Current Indian prices are higher than international prices and good quantity imports of 1 1/8 inch cotton are taking place.

There is an increasing anxiety in the industry due to recent developments in Chinese cotton policy since China is the major importer of cotton and cotton yarn from India. Presently, the price difference between Indian & Chinese Cotton is quite high with the Indian yarn selling at much lower rates. In fact, prices of Indian cotton yarns after payment of duty and taxes in China are still very much lower than the Chinese domestic yarn prices.

Says Mr Manikam Ramaswami, Chairman, Texprocil, “Given the better quality produced by Indian mills there will always be good exports of Indian yarns taking place, even if the difference between Chinese cotton prices and international cotton prices narrows down substantially. Indian mills need not fear a drop in Yarn exports happening beyond the seasonal fluctuations. However profitability of exports will depend upon our price parity with International cotton prices.”
