Female Minster and Author Helps Quench Spiritual Thirst through Inspirational Truths

Writing has always been a passion of minster and businesswoman Dianna Caraballo. Wanting to inspire and help motivate those around her is something she learned at a young age.

Brooklyn Heights, OH (USA), April 11th, 2015 — Writing has always been a passion of minster and businesswoman Dianna Caraballo. Wanting to inspire and help motivate those around her is something she learned at a young age. Being one of eight siblings and growing up in a large family, it was important to support one another in good or bad times. However, Caraballo knew God wanted more for her.

“Becoming a minster was a very rewarding day in my life,” says Dianna. “God has a purpose for us all and we all need each other collectively, even if our purposes are different.”

Caraballo’s call to serve God did not stop after He called her to minster. She soon went on to pen two books (both published by Halo Publishing, Int.), Women Were Designed for Greatness Too! and A Little Drink of Water: A Devotional of Spiritual Awakening.

In her book Women Were Designed for Greatness Too!, Caraballo’s message is one of encouragement and hope for women everywhere. “A lot of what I share has to do with how women are brought up in church and taught there is a difference between men and women. In truth, we are to love one another as HE loves the church and us,” says Dianna. “I share a lot of the internal workings of different churches, but most importantly, my goal is to share that God can call anyone, man or woman, to do His work.”

In her recently released book, A Little Drink of Water: A Devotional of Spiritual Awakening, Caraballo shares the power of encouragement through seeing the good. “The inspiration for this book had a lot to do with social media and all the negative comments and postings being shared. Wanting to encourage and bring positive re-enforcement to my social media friends, I started posting an inspirational quote or thought of the day. This brought a big following and led me to compile these posts, and additional thoughts, into a book. My goal is to share God’s love, inspiration and help build self-esteem in our daily lives.”

As an author and mister, Dianna Caraballo hopes to help put an end to all the bad traditions, or what the population thinks are Christian traditions, and help those around her start living the way God wants us to live. She also hopes to share the message that we are to be co-leaders of the world and in God’s work.

High School Students Release Children’s Book to Raise Funds for Bridge to Burundi Project

Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire and Halo Publishing International Partner with Students.

Hudson, Quebec (Canada), April 11th, 2015 — Westwood High School students have teamed up with Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire and Halo Publishing International to release their first children’s book, “Bakuru and the School on the Hill.” The book is a collaborative effort of writing and illustrations between about 30 students, alumni and teachers, along with a forward by Dallaire. The hope is that this book will raise awareness and funds for the Bridge to Burundi, a six-year project where students have been helping a small African village break the cycle of poverty.

The book takes the reader through the eyes of a young girl named Baruru who shows the history and culture of the Burundi school and how education changes the poverty cycle.

“We wanted to tie in global issues and human rights so the book would have a message,” says Nancy Koluzs, who headed up the book project through the school’s Literacy Project program. She’s also a major contributor to the Bridge to Burundi Project.

The idea to write a children’s book started after Halo author Valerie Redmond contacted Koluzs to get involved with the school’s literacy program. Halo Publisher Lisa M. Umina found out about the book project and wanted to help.

“I love giving back,” says Halo Publisher Lisa M. Umina. “Helping students by publishing a book to raise awareness and funds for global issues just made sense to me.”

Westwood teachers say the book will do more than just raise funds and awareness about the Bridge to Burundi Project.

“We believe this book will inspire kids to become active global citizens,” says Peter Nield, another teacher involved with the Bridge to Burundi. “No matter how small your efforts are, we teach students at Westwood that they can have a global impact.”

Bridge to Burundi Project:
The Bridge to Burundi Project started in October 2009 by students at Westwood High School as part of their annual Student Life camp. Westwood teacher and native Burundian Jean-Claude Manirakiza gave a presentation to the students on the state of education in his home country. Roused by the story of his life, the students decided to build an elementary school in Rwoga, Burundi. Eight months later, the first classroom opened to 60 first graders. Since then, another ten classrooms have been built, offering free education and supplies to more than 400 students. In addition, the students have raised more than $100,000 to build a medical centre, convenience store, and drinkable water to the village.

SmartTOP Add-On Convertible Top Controller for Peugeot 307 CC and 308 CC Redesigned

The aftermarket SmartTOP Convertible Top Controllers made by Mods4cars for Peugeot 307 CC and 308 CC received a facelift redesign. They now ship in a new, custom designed module enclosure, specifically made by Mods4cars for the purpose. It is smaller and slimmer and thereby easier to install in tight locations in the car. Las Vegas, NV (USA), March 25th, 2015 — The SmartTOP Convertible Top Controllers offered by aftermarket automotive electronics specialist Mods4cars provide simple and easy roof controls for convertibles. On Peugeot 307 CC and 308 CC the product allows opening and closing of the top while the car is moving, up to 40 km/h (~28mph). Thanks to the one-touch operation, the top switch only needs to be tapped once. It is no longer necessary to pull over and hold the switch down for the entire time.

Additionally the top can be controlled from the original key fob remote by issuing a key combination. This makes it possible to open the top before getting in the car. Vice versa it is also possible to close the top from a distance at the first sign of impending rainfall. No changes are necessary to the original key fobs or receiver system.

The “all windows” switch in the car can be made to close all windows with one-touch convenience. And a windows comfort feature allows the driver to still operate all windows for up to 60 seconds after turning the ignition off. An extended mode can be activated which allows the top to continue running while the engine is being started or stopped. The entire module can be deactivated temporarily while retaining all user configurable settings.

All features of the module can be configured according to individual needs. Configuration of the module is extremely simple. Mods4cars was able to control the center display in the dash to show a clear text setup menu which shows all functions and settings of the top module in an easy to understand way.

Elder Pharmaceuticals Clears Pending Statutory Payments Related to TDS, PF, ESIC, MWLF etc After Witnessing Turnaround in Cash Flow Position

Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited which was going through an erratic cash flow situation has made major pending statutory payments of TDS, provident fund, ESIC, Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (MLWF) etc to the tune of approx Rs 26 crore.

Mumbai, India, March 25th, 2015 — Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited (BSE: 532322 | NSE: ELDERPHARMEQ) which was going through an erratic cash flow situation has made major pending statutory payments of TDS, provident fund, ESIC, Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (MLWF) etc to the tune of approx Rs 26 crore. The company has informed the BSE & NSE to this effect.

Elder Pharmaceuticals plans to clear the backlog of other payments very soon. Elder is also in talks to raise fresh funds through a combination of debt or debt cum equity in order to improve its cash flow and performance. The company’s cash flow cycle was affected for a larger part of FY 2014-15 resulting in payments getting delayed to its various creditors and government bodies. In view of the growth in sales of its pharma & OTC products recently, the company is anticipating regular cash infusion which will contribute to its working capital, regular expenses and debt retirement needs.

Elder Pharmaceuticals is a major player in the Anti-infectives, Multi Vitamins, Cardiology and Skin care segments and is also present in the Over The Counter segment (OTC) through its products like AM/PM, Solo, Respite, Rhyme covering sectors like Oral Mouthwash, Skin Care, Nasal Decongestion, Muscle relaxants and Color Cosmetics. Elder has a prominent position in the pharma space in India and abroad with its products commanding good demand from hospitals, doctors etc. A few products like Eldervit (a nutraceutical), anti-infectives like Cefixime based Formic and Elfi, & Skin O2 (dermatology) have significant market share and are growing at over 14% annually. The company has 6 state-of-the-art production facilities across India backed by a team of over 2 dozen scientists.

Going forward, the company is embarking on a major price revamp supported by an aggressive national expansion campaign in order to garner a larger share in the domestic market. Elder’s International operations are registering steady growth and more than 40% of Elder’s revenue is likely to come from its global business. As a part of Elder’s deal with Torrent Pharmaceuticals in 2013 – which involved sale of over 30 brands and transfer of Elder’s domestic employees to Torrent – Elder shall utilize its six plants for contract manufacture of the formulations business sold to Torrent for 3 years which will fetch Elder a continous revenue stream of Rs 70 – 75 crore every year.

Elder group is targeting a turnover of about Rs 1000 cr from its domestic and international operations by FY 2017.
