Future Electronics and President Robert Miller Recognize Malvena Hensley for 40 Years of Service

Pointe Claire, Quebec (realtimepressrelease) November 21, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components with corporate headquarters in Montreal, Quebec, recently celebrated Malvena Hensley’s 40th anniversary of employment with the company.

The Founder and President of Future Electronics, Robert Miller, was pleased to recognize Malvena’s long and impressive tenure with the organization. Ms. Hensley began working for Future Electronics in September of 1976, starting out with an Administration/Data Entry position in the Montreal Distribution Center’s receiving department.

Throughout the years, Ms. Hensley has successfully handled a variety of roles and responsibilities, including receiving inspection, receiving administration, data entry, quality control, shipping, export orders, inventory control and numerous special projects.

Frank Ruffolo, a supervisor when Ms. Hensley worked in the Montreal Distribution Center, said, “Malvena was always very humble; she would never refuse to help out in any department, or when we needed to work weekends or late into the night on weekdays. Malvena was always there regardless of what needed to get done.”

Malvena explained, “From the very start, I felt like part of a happy family.” Since moving to her current role of Switchboard Operator in 2006, she said, “This position is a delight because I love people and this gives me a chance to interact with different kinds of people from all over the world.”

Ms. Hensley is an active member of the Westmount Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she is the Head Usher for visitors, and leads the visitation program which caters to shut-ins and those who are sick. She added, “I am also involved with our youth program, I especially love the little ones. I assist the mothers in caring for the children during service time.” In her free time, she is a great cook, and enjoys bowling and walking.

On the occasion of her 40 year anniversary with the company, Malvena said, “Working for Future Electronics is a dream come true. Mr. Miller is such a good person, and his sons are following in his footsteps. Future is my family.”

Company President Robert Miller often refers to employees as being “the company’s greatest asset.” The company places a high value on the dedication of its employees, and milestone anniversaries are recognized with personalized cards, plaques, free meal vouchers, and other gifts based on their length of tenure.
