Future Electronics and President Robert Miller Host Strategic Supply Chain Solutions Conference

Pointe Claire, Quebec (realtimepressrelease) May 20, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components founded in 1968 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada by Robert Miller, hosted a Strategic Supply Chain Solutions conference at the company’s worldwide corporate headquarters in Montreal from April 11-15, 2016.

The conference focused on discussing the biggest issues facing customers today and in future, and determining the right solutions to help them. The Future Electronics team, under the leadership of the company’s President, Robert Miller, understands that many customers’ challenges stem from market condition changes. In addition, costs are rising in many regions; China was once considered low cost, but with a strong economy come higher wages. Labor costs are rising, fuel costs have changed, and companies are rethinking their supply chain needs

Another main area of concern for many companies is visibility into their supply chain. For companies who outsource, they want to have assurance that their manufacturing partner has the right supply chain set up, that it’s repeatable. Interruptions are driving the need for greater visibility. Things like earthquakes or fires cannot be anticipated, which makes supply chain security that much more critical.

Tom Galligani, Vice President of FIRST and Supply Chain Solutions for Future Electronics, explains, “Future Electronics’ expert supply chain team is in a great position to mitigate interruptions, by understanding crucial factors such as the location of the semiconductor fabs, and taking into account various considerations including single production or multi production, lead-times, manufacturing capacity, part classification, common vs. non-standard.”

Galligani continued, “Future Electronics places a lot of emphasis on understanding the customer’s manufacturing rhythm, buying patterns, factory locations, and transportation lead times. With proven experience and knowledge on both the supply side and demand side, we are able to consistently achieve an incredible 99.5% on-time delivery rate to our customers – the highest in the industry.”

Toronto (ON), Canada — Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory Server 1.2.14, a feature update to its solution to automate printing, exporting and post-processing from Adobe InDesign. Developed originally for a major magazine publisher in the United States to free up their operator computers from outputting InDesign files, the software automates InDesign workflow by processing files from watched hot folders.

The new version now fully supports the editorial InCopy workflow that lets writers, editors, and designers work simultaneously on the same InDesign document, without overwriting each other’s work. The update addresses an issue which prevented from processing InDesign documents with modified links in imported InCopy files.

“Output Factory Server is an extremely useful utility for a busy production facility or advertising agency”, writes David Creamer in Layers magazine, “It can save lots of time – which equates to money.”

Under the Output Factory Server workflow, production artists, prepress operators and designers simply copy InDesign jobs to hot folders that reside on a network. Users can create hot folders for different output targets such as hi-res PDF, large format printing, Flash files and so on. The software offers the following key features:

Print and export InDesign files automatically from hot folders
-Supports print, PDF, PostScript, TIFF, EPUB and other formats
Automatic email notifications
Export InDesign files as single pages
-Layer versioning
-Variable output file names
-Preflight files before output
-Serve unlimited users on a network

Pricing and Availability:
Output Factory Server can be purchased from Zevrix web site for US$699.95, as well as from authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. BatchOutput Server users can upgrade for $350. Output Factory Server runs on Mac OS X 10.7-10.11 and works with Adobe InDesign CS5-CC 2015.

Country Radio,” along with the rest of the tracks off of Blood Like Wine, were recorded in the famous Castle Recording Studios in Nashville, TN with well-known country producer Jeff Huskins (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Shania Twain). With her stirring, soulful vocals, Angie discusses a sparking infatuation with a prospective lover. Bruyere’s rasp and rawness is what shines through this upbeat, edgy Americana single.

In her youth, Angie Bruyere began songwriting when she started creating music out of her poetry. Known as a dynamic performer, Angie has played in some of Southern California’s premier venues such as Pappy and Harriet’s, Whisky a Go Go, The Troubadour, The Roxy and The Mint. In addition, Bruyere has toured across the United States, through Italy and the rest of Europe. Angie looks forward to continue her touring in support of her Blood Like Wine EP.

The six-song release, Blood Like Wine, will be followed by an additional EP, which includes the second half of Angie’s Nashville recordings and will be released later this year.

In Nashville, Bruyere was fortunate to work with renowned musicians such as; Troy Lancaster (Loretta Lynn, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift), Aubrie Haynie (Blake Shelton, Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard), Scott Sanders (Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson), John Willis (Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, Kenny Rogers), Kevin “Swine” Grant (Willie Nelson, Linda Rondstat, Toby Keith), Fred Eltringham (Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow), Evan Hutchings, Dave Doran and mastered by legendary and Grammy Winning, Bob Ludwig (Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix).

In 2014, Angie released West of the Night, which was followed by a Fender sponsorship that featured Angie as Fender’s artist of the month. Along with, two fender sessions of her “Goodbyes” and “Mason Jar” singles.

“Bruyere’s sultry voice stood out, as she possesses a distinctive purr that is both sweet and dangerous at the same time.”-Fender
