New Technology Supercharges Workouts By Over 50%

  • Burns 50% + Calories, With Over 70% Muscle Activation;
  • Weighs Under 3 Lbs.;
  • Has the Functionality of Over 15 Products In One;
  • Can Be Used With Any Exercise Routine;
  • And Is 100% Mobile, It Can Go Wherever You Go!

Baton Rouge, LA, October 27, 2015 — /REAL TIME PRESS RELEASE/ — Adrian Cornish and Nathan Roy have innovated a new technology built into wearable shorts that allow users to more than double the results of any exercise workouts, while providing a full body workout system for fitness enthusiasts as well as serious athletes.

Roy said, “Studies by the LSU School of Kinesiology have shown that users experience an average of 70% more muscular activity for muscle strength; 50% + more calories burned to shed unwanted pounds; increase in lactate threshold for increased endurance; and increased cardiovascular activity for heart health; all achieved with low level (5lbs – 25 lbs.) resistance.”

Michael James MacLellan, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Louisiana State University School of Kinesiology said, “Our preliminary research suggests that using this suit increases muscular activity at the shoulders, hips, knees and ankles during walking and running tasks. The added resistance may lead to more effective weight loss due to the increased muscle activity generated by the wearer.”

For busy people with limited time, they can cut their workouts in half, for example, getting the results of an hour in just 30 minutes. They can even wear them during normal activities.

The Apex BRS provides the functionality and comparable resistance of over 15 exercise products in one, including weighted vests, wrist weights, weighted clothing, parachutes, the Vertimax (platform based product), Mass Suit, etc. While other products target limited areas of the body, the Apex BRS provides a full body workout.

The Apex BRS are compression shorts made of a specially formulated nylon fabric that’s laminated with neoprene and reinforced with nylon webbing, giving it a tough yet pliable nature to support high levels of resistance without degrading, while being very comfortable to wear.

The compression shorts have built in attachment points at the legs and hips that act as strong anchors for several levels of resistance latex bands that attach to different areas of the body to target various muscle groups. Horizontal latex bands of interchangeable resistance strengths wrap around the thighs with resistance levels that can be adjusted from five to over 200 lbs on the legs. Optional bands wrap around the arms with resistance from five to 100 lbs.

The BRS doesn’t use any weights, instead creating resistance through the user’s natural motions. At under three pounds, the BRS has minimal hardware and is extremely comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. The combination of its light weight, the fact it’s wearable, with resistance levels surpassing the most sophisticated equipment on the market, along with the ability to use it anywhere, for any length of time, raises the bar for resistance training. It’s a tool not just for athletes, but for people of all ages and fitness levels. With the improvements users gain in speed, agility, explosion, and endurance. It’s easy to see why users feel like they’re the bionic man or woman after training with the BRS.

Tommy Moffitt, LSU head strength and conditioning coach passionately endorses the BRS, and has given his blessing in a testimonial that is on Apex’s website.

Adrian and Nathan have launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to raise $20,000 in support for their company. Backers can pledge from $18 to $5,000 for incentives that include special early bird discounts on the BRS for under $100.

To find out more about the Apex BRS, follow their updates and support their campaign, visit the Kickstarter page through November 19.

Dakota Dental Announces Participation in National Dental Hygiene Month

Dakota Dental is bringing awareness to the Daily 4, an ADHA initiative during October’s National Hygiene Month.

Apple Valley, MN, USA (October 27, 2015) — Dakota Dental is taking part in the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) National Dental Hygiene Month during the month of October. This is the sixth year that the ADHA has teamed up with the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company to increase public awareness for maintaining good oral health. For this year’s National Dental Hygiene Month, the focus is on the “Daily 4“: brushing, flossing, mouthwash, and sugar-free gum. Dakota Dental is proud to take part and support the Daily 4 and help patients get involved through their dental services.

The Daily 4 is an easy, concise way for dentists and dental hygienists to talk with patients about the importance of dental health and taking care of their teeth. It acts as a simple checklist to work towards not only healthy teeth, but also improved overall health.

The Daily 4 consists of:
– Brushing twice a day
– Flossing daily
– Rinsing with mouthwash
– Chewing sugar-free gum

Breaking down healthy oral habits into these categories can make preventive dental care seem less daunting and easier for everyone to do, and also make it easy to remember. Brushing twice a day – once in the morning and once at night – is one of the most important things you can do to take care of your teeth. Flossing daily and rinsing with mouthwash will help fight against gum diseases like gingivitis. And chewing sugar-free gum for 20 minutes after eating or drinking stimulates saliva production by 10 times the normal rate – which actually is very beneficial. The saliva neutralizes acids and can help repair early tooth decay.

Dakota Dental is taking part in National Dental Hygiene Month and encourages patients to get involved. In addition to the Daily 4, Dakota Dental recommends making an appointment and talking with their family dentists about taking care of your teeth and getting regular cleanings. Meet with the experienced dentists in Apple Valley at Dakota Dental and help spread the word about the Daily 4.

Builders Come Up with Unique Solutions to Keep Buyers Debt Free; Offer EMI Facilities to Enable them to Avoid Taking Home Loans

Out-Of-The-Box Ideas Attract Buyers of Affordable Property.

Mumbai, India, October 25th, 2015 — While obtaining home loans has become easier, the loan amount –along with the EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) thereon – is quite high due to high apartment prices making home buying a challenging task for most people. Add to this, the already depressed business conditions where job security is uncertain. In such a scenario builders are offering various payment options for under-construction and ready possession flats.

A builder in Delhi (name withheld on request) has announced a ‘no pre-EMI’ clause till possession of the property. Customers are asked to pay 10 per cent as the booking amount, followed by 80 per cent of the amount within 45 days from bank funding. The remaining 10 per cent can be paid on possession. In effect, all the EMIs on the housing loan taken by the buyer are paid for by the builder and the buyer starts paying EMIs only after possession.

Earlier this year, for its upcoming commercial project, another leading builder from Chennai had provided an option whereby consumers paid 40 per cent in three months and take possession, while the balance was to be paid in 15 months. This move pushed sales of commercial premises substantially. Yet another case of a builder coming up with an innovative solution for offloading excessive inventory is that of Royal Palms India which is selling apartments in a 240 acre complex at Goregaon East.

“Palms Residences” are being offered to buyers on a READY POSSESSION basis in such a manner that the buyers don’t have to take a home loan for the property. Buyers can immediately move in by paying a small percentage of the total cost and the balance can be paid over a period of time just the way it is in housing loan installments. So instead of paying EMIs on Home loans the buyer pays the EMI to the builder…. without the interest burden.

Palms Residences project comprises of over 400 flats of 1BHK, 2BHK and 3BHK sizes. These are Ready possession, fully furnished, with occupation certificate, clear title, up market A Grade construction and to book these one just has to pay 30% down payment and the balance in 36 interest free monthly installments. The company – which is a pioneer in affordable housing – has kept prices at almost 40% below the average market price in Goregaon East. Located within 10 minutes of drive from Powai, Western Express highway and Marol ‘PALMS RESIDENCES’ thus offers apartment with modern conveniences of easy loans especially to the families working on the EMI formula.

Says Dilawar Nensey, Jt Managing Director, Royal Palms Estates P Ltd, “Since the realty market is down we thought of working out a way for people to be able to buy their permanent dream home as also offload our inventory. We are a zero debt company and would prefer to pass on price benefits to our customers rather than pay heavy interest burden on term loans. Royal Palms philosophy remains focus on product quality at competitive prices.”

The company has priced apartments at PALMS RESIDENCES very reasonably at Rs 75 Lacs for a 1 BHK, Rs 1.13 Cr for a 2 BHK and at Rs 1.50 Cr for a 3 BHK. To give an example, on purchase of a 2BHk flat, the buyer would pay Rs 33.90 lacs upfront and take immediate possession of the property and pay the balance amount by way of monthly installments of Rs 2.19 lacs. The approx savings in interest outgo –when compared to buying the same property through a home loan – comes to a whopping Rs 1.04 crore.

For most Mumbaikars buying a home is a once-in-a-lifetime task but due to lack of budget or the high prices of properties coupled with heavy EMIs it becomes a nightmare at times. The offer of Palms Residences is rare solution and opportunity, which would benefit both the parties and present a Win-Win situation for all of them. Above all, the buyer is safe from falling into a debt trap of paying the principal home loan and interest for years and years. Holiday Picture Book about Santa is Full of Magic and Wins the 2015 KSRA Award

The warmth and wonder of the Christmas season are newly revealed in the imaginative full-color children’s Christmas picture book called On this Christmas Eve Night written by Award-winning Author Alicia Lloyd and illustrated by Amy Rottinger.

Philadelphia, PA (USA), October 24th, 2015 — The warmth and wonder of the Christmas season are newly revealed in the imaginative full-color children’s Christmas picture book called On this Christmas Eve Night written by Award-winning Author Alicia Lloyd and illustrated by Amy Rottinger.

Christmas is a fun, magical time for kids of all ages. It is a holiday to share family traditions and bring loved ones close. “I just love Christmas,” shares Lloyd. “I adore this fun, magical time of the year. It is a holiday for all ages, families, and traditions.”

In On this Christmas Eve Night, Santa is busy checking his list to make sure he did not miss a single present for the good boys and girls all around the world. However, children are asked the question, “What does Santa’s checklist look like before he speeds over the rooftops on Christmas Eve night?” As readers sit down to find the answer to this question, they learn valuable lessons, traditions from Lloyd’s childhood and much more. Children also will find fun activities in the back of the book to add to their holiday traditions, too.

“The magic of Christmas is what makes the holiday atmosphere,” says Lloyd, who still believes in Santa Clause.

A lot of what Santa does in the story comes from Alicia’s childhood and traditions her family shared with her as a young girl. The activities in the back of the book are easy for children and are still traditions in her home today. “I wanted to make sure my audience got excited for Christmas while reading this book,” shares Lloyd.

Educators will find that this picture book has repetitive learning. Alicia did want to make Christmas fun but in a way that still teaches literacy with holiday sprite.

“This is a fun-filled and warm-hearted Christmas story,” says Halo Publisher Lisa M. Umina. “Beautifully illustrated, children of all ages will embrace the story and have fun learning about Santa’s busiest night of the year. On this Christmas Eve Night is a great addition to any treasured children’s book collection.”

Alicia’s first book, When the Monsters are Quiet, is the winner of the 2015 Keystone to Reading Elementary Book Award. The purpose of the award is to stimulate interest in reading for students from Preschool to Grade 6 and expose them to quality literature. Each year the committee prepares three lists, one for preschool students, one for primary students in grades K-3, and one for intermediate students in grades 4-6. Teachers read the nominated books to their students from the appropriate lists. Last March, the students voted for their favorite book, and the winners are honored at the Book and Author Luncheon at the annual KSRA Conference in October 2015.

You can purchase On this Christmas Even Night and When the Monsters are Quiet through Halo Publishing’s website (http://halopublishing.com), Amazon, B&N and any local bookstore.

New Book Release – Reinventing The World, We Can Do Better, by Ben Korgen

Reinventing The World, We Can Do Better, by Ben Korgen, highlights the stagnant repetition of ineffective leadership and how we can break free.

Hope Valley, RI, USA — Ben Korgen’s Reinventing The World, We Can Do Better defines history recycling leadership spawning repeating cycles of prosperity, poverty, tranquility and violence.

This book suggests we can escape this by preparing political leaders for recruiting idea people, harvesting ideas, filtering out the best ones and subjecting them to worldwide referendums.

Humans will need fresh ideas. People tend to elect leaders whose image is a stable, solid citizen who can govern the ship of state with a steady hand on the helm. However, idea people usually do not make good leaders. Their most valuable thoughts pop into their heads at random in ways that prospective voters perceive as erratic and undesirable in leadership positions.

Science, engineering and technology have long histories of racing forward with little or no recycled effort. They have accomplished this driven by leaders who realize that maintaining the forward momentum depends on accepting the inputs of idea people.

This book addresses needs for a worldwide effort by offering a sample path for testing, adopting or discarding for something better. This path includes methods of world-scale recruitment of idea people, harvesting ideas, filtering them to winnow out the most promising ones and debating their value before worldwide referendums for approval and implementation.

Author Ben Korgen has had a highly varied career. He served in the US Navy, earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth, earned a master’s degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, then coached high school football, earned a PhD in Oceanography at Oregon State University and had a long and rewarding career in Oceanography at the US Naval Oceanographic Office, the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and Tulane University in New Orleans.

Genre – History-Recycling Leadership, Idea People, Idea Creation, Idea Sorting, Linking Ideas to Leadership

Rosendin Electric Ranks Third on EC&M List of Top 50 Electrical Contractors for 2015

New Construction Projects, Increased Demand for Data Services, and More Efficient Field Operations Contribute to Improved Revenues for Rosendin Electric.

San Jose, CA, USA (October 23, 2015) — Rosendin Electric, one of the nation’s largest private electrical contractors and an employee-owned company, was ranked third by revenue on the 2015 list of Top 50 Electrical Contractors compiled by Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) Magazine. Rosendin Electric was the only privately held electrical contractor to rank in the top four in revenue.

Rosendin Electric was among 10 contractors on the EC&M list to post annual gains of 15 percent or more in 2014. Much of the growth is attributed to economic recovery, since overall revenue from electrical and telecommunications projects climbed from $15.7 billion in 2013 to $21.8 billion in 2014. Regional markets where Rosendin Electric has a strong presence, such as San Francisco and Silicon Valley, have seen resurgence in new construction in 2014 and 2015 due to pent up demand. Rosendin Electric also had a variety of projects in the industries that demonstrated the strongest growth – healthcare, data center, power, education, and manufacturing.

In addition to increasing their volume of construction projects, Rosendin Electric continues to be a pioneer amongst peers in the development of technology to improve operational efficiency. Rosendin Electric was one of the first electrical contractors to equip project managers, superintendents, and field supervision with tablets to allow them to review project specs and diagrams, clock workers in and out, manage the supply chain, and much more. The use of sophisticated materials tracking software, for example, supports just-in-time delivery of essential materials to the job site to eliminate construction downtime. In addition, Rosendin Electric provides its employees with comprehensive documentation and hands-on training, as well as webinars and video clips to improve efficiency and safety in the field, all of which contributes to improved efficiency and reduced costs.

“There are so many ways that technology has helped us to become more productive,” Sam Lamonica, CIO of Rosendin Electric, told EC&M. “We now have tools to help us with everything from estimating to modeling to prefabrication. The benefits are just so wide-ranging.”

About Rosendin Electric
Rosendin Electric, Inc., headquartered in San Jose, California, is an employee-owned electrical engineering, power, and communications provider and is one of the largest privately held electrical contractors in the United States. New Book Release – Unwonted Reflections, by Barry Cheskin

Unwonted Reflections, by Barry Cheskin, is an “out of the ordinary” set of haiku and other unwonted poems weaned on hardship and reflection.

Boston, MA, USA — Barry Cheskin’ Unwonted Reflections is a book of quotes and poems are dedicated to those who have suffered through life’s hardships. It’s a collection of reflections and poems that have been in the works for close to a decade.

“As a life-long musician, with forty-four years’ experience, I always loved songwriting, but couldn’t find a wide audience. This book has been written with one goal: To reach people that could use a little bit of inspiration in their tough daily lives. It’s not meant to ignore the good life, but rather focuses on hope, especially for those struggling with their lives. It’s a book of empathy. Its purpose is to leave something for the world in order to make it just a slightly better place. I say that with courage because it comes across as rather arrogant, but I only say that because the bottom line is that I care about people. I’ve simply desired to share my thoughts with folks, hoping it can at least create one smile or tear.”

Barry Cheskin is a musician of forty-four years who also loves to write. He learned piano at the age of 3 and learned guitar at age 11. He grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts with a happy childhood, but as an adult has struggled with hardships, including two divorces and the death of both his parents at too young an age. He graduated from the Boston University College of Communications with a Bachelor of Science in 1990. He has always had pets, and currently has a Chihuahua he treats as his own daughter. Barry has spent fifteen years working in the insurance industry, but has spent years writing on the side as a hobby. Barry was born in 1968, a rather wild year for the earth to experience. He hopes to inspire many people with his book of quotes and poems.

Genre – Poem, Haiku, Life, Inspiring, Empathetic, Heart-Warming, Poetic, Rhythmic, Resourceful, Reflection
