ToxCO CO Poisoning Monitor on Real Rescues

ToxCO CO monitor features on Real Rescues, the dramatic documentary of the day-to-day work of the emergency services.

Dramatic events from the day-to-day work of the emergency services are documented on BBCs Real Rescues. Recently, presenters Nick Knowles and Louise Minchin looked at the horrors of coming home to find your house on fire.

As part of this episode Mark Ainsworth-Smith, consultant Emergency Care Practitioner for South Central Ambulance service, presented the ToxCO breath Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitor. He explains that the ToxCO is a very, very effective way of monitoring at scene so we can see exactly how urgently people need to be seen and treated, or if indeed they need to be treated at all. This not only helps to diagnose the patient immediately and non-invasively but also saves the NHS money in treating patients who do not require medical attention.

Established for over 30 years, Bedfont produce quality products catering to customers’ needs and are proud to be at the forefront of breath and medical gas monitoring technology.
