The Vincent Hayes Project Nominated For Four 2011 Jammie Awards

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN: Popular Community Radio Station WYCE-FM’s programmers have culled through dozens of releases from Michigan musicans to cast ballots for 2010’s best albums and songs in 15 categories, and has announced that The Vincent hayes Project has been nominated for four “Jammie” awards in main categories.

The popular Michigan-based blues band has been nominated for four awards in the 12th annual competition, including nods for Best Album, Best Blues Album, Best Group and Song of the Year for “Hit Me High, Hit Me Low” from their “Reclamation” CD.

In addition, their album producer, Glenn Brown of East Lansing, has been nominated for an award as Producer of the Year.

“Even though we’re currently up for international honors for our debut album -nominated for “Best New Artist” for 2010 by the Blues Foundation -we’re honored to have received so much amazing support in our home state as well,” said Vincent Hayes, the band’s leader.
