Stuck for That Perfect Adult Stocking Stuffer? Need a Mommy’s Time Out After A Long Day At Home?

East Hanover, NJ, 2020-Dec-07 — /REAL TIME PRESS RELEASE/ — Mommy’s Time Out Wine is the perfect stocking stuffer, and can be enjoyed by just about anyone on your adult stocking stuffer list. Mommy’s Time Out features four varieties including Mommy’s Time Out Pinot Grigio, Mommy’s Time Out Moscato, Mommy’s Time Out Delicious Red, and Mommy’s Time Out Delicious Pink. All are made from grapes grown in Italy and have wonderful fruity undertones. All the wines are fresh, fruity and well balanced, and are delicious for sipping with snacks or to complement a meal.

Being at Home during the Holidays has changed. Hasn’t it? It used to be the place where we all relaxed after a hard day at work. Not now. We may be home monitoring the virtual learning of our children. We might be working longer hours, because work is now remote, and we still have to monitor the virtual learning of our children. We might have to make them lunch because our kitchen is now the school cafeteria. The producers of Mommy’s Time Out Wine understand and have offered the following thoughts to make the holidays the most enjoyable time of the year.

Keep the Holiday’s Simple; Celebrate at Home with Mommy’s Time Out wine. Being a parent is difficult enough. Make Some Memories that will Last a Lifetime. New Year’s Day is a great day to make some family memories. Try taking a family photo with someone holding up a sign with the year. It’s also a great day to measure everyone against the door jam, so they can look back at their growth in years to come. Remind each other and your children of all the good things that happened, and teach your family how to appreciate what they have. One way to do this is to ask each family member to write down three things they were thankful for in 2020 and share them over dinner during the Holidays or on New Year’s Eve.

“No matter what stage you’re at when it comes to being a Mommy, it’s one of the toughest and most rewarding jobs there is. That’s why we believe Mommy deserves something special for herself now and then, with Mommy’s Time Out Wine.” says Mike Cincotta President of Selective Wine Estates, Inc.

Adults over the age of 21 should enjoy Mommy’s Time Out responsibly.

Wines for a Worthy Cause Give the Gift of Jarman Wines and Give Back this Holiday Season

By purchasing Jarman Wines you will not only enjoy certified organic ultra premium wines, but you will be supporting a worthy cause, finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

Salinas, CA, September 22, 2016 – Toast the holidays with a wine that gives back. By purchasing Jarman Wines you will not only enjoy certified organic ultra premium wines, but you will be supporting a worthy cause, finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

Jarman Wines make the perfect hostess gifts and party offerings. Even better, each purchase will help to benefit the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF). In addition, the winery has opened a tasting lounge in Carmel Valley that offers three levels of wine tasting and three specially themed picnic packages. Gift certificates for the picnic packages make the perfect holiday gift.

To honor her late mother’s memory, Holman Ranch CEO and eldest daughter Hunter Lowder took the best hand-selected estate grapes and created two premium varietals—Jarman Chardonnay and Jarman Pinot Noir—with $1 from each bottle sold going to the ADDF.

Jarman Lowder, Hunter’s mother, grew up in Chattanooga, Tenn., and lived up to being voted “best all around” in high school. She earned a nursing degree, worked as an R.N. and raised three daughters with her husband, Thomas. An active volunteer, animal lover, athlete and enthusiastic traveler, Jarman wanted to spend her golden years making wine with her husband at Holman Ranch, an idyllic piece of property in Carmel Valley, Ca. they purchased to realize that dream. Tragically, Lowder died in March 2011 at age 60 following a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

Holman Ranch and Jarman Wines have partnered with the ADDF to support research toward treatment and a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and to celebrate the life of Jarman Lowder.

“We wanted to honor her, give back and increase awareness,” said her daughter Hunter. “Everything we do here and the reason all this exists is because of her.”

“We appreciate the generous support of Holman Ranch and the Lowder family,” says Dr. Howard Fillit, founding Executive Director and Chief Science Officer for the ADDF. “And we are proud that 100 percent of every dollar donated through this partnership will go directly to fund drug research for Alzheimer’s disease.”

Dr. Fillit knew Jarman Lowder personally and was excited by the opportunity to honor her legacy in such a meaningful way.

About Jarman Wines:
Jarman’s terroir (a French word that speaks to a wine’s place of origin, its subtle nuances of traceable character, flavor, lineage and integrity) refers to a special place in Carmel Valley — and also to a special woman, family matriarch Jarman Fearing Lowder, who inspired a family to bottle the essence of a mother’s spirit.

A Jarman wine reflects quality, with only the best local grapes used during an artisanal, small-batch winemaking process.

– Newest offerings from the Jarman estate include; 2014 Estate Chardonnay, 2014 Estate Pinot Noir, and 2013 Estate Pinot Noir.

Jarman wine uses only 100-percent estate-grown, certified organic and certified sustainable grapes. Aged in French oak barrels, Jarman’s vintages are held in limited supply, and are not available anywhere outside their tasting room in Carmel Valley Village (open noon to 5 p.m., Thurs.-Sun.; or by appointment), next to the historical Will’s Fargo Restaurant & Bar, the restaurant the family purchased in 2014.

The tastings will feature full-fledged experiences, including tours and wine education, and each culinary parings that complements the wine. The new Jarman Tasting Lounge & Patio provides visitors with four unique experiences: Vin de Table, Cru Tasting, Premier Cru Experience and the Grand Cru Experience.

ViniPortugal takes UK wine drinkers on buying trip

UK wine drinkers invited on buying trip to Portugal.

A group of UK wine drinkers have teamed up with trade body ViniPortugal to source a new wine for online retailer www.nakedwines.com

Naked Wines, launched in December 2008 by Virgin Money and Virgin Wines founder Rowan Gormley, invites their most active customers to pick their wines rather than employing a wine buyer.

Rather than us tell customers what they should be drinking, they tell us, explained Rowan Gormley.

They accompany us to trade fairs and wherever possible, come on buying trips with us too. We also send them samples of all the wines were thinking of stocking before they go on sale.

Our customers leapt at the chance to head out to Portugal with ViniPortugal, and after tasting hundreds of bottles, they’ve picked out a superb new wine for the site.

Tnia Branco Oliveira from ViniPortugal added:
It’s great to get producers and customers together to share their passion for wine. The process of exporting a wine to the UK can typically take months, but by introducing both ends of the chain, and empowering the consumer to choose, the process is a lot quicker. Were delighted to see a new Portuguese wine for sale on Naked Wines, and we hope their customer buying team will be back to select more!

The wine they selected was the Negreiros Douro 2007, produced from grapes which were originally sold to Cockburns Port. Winemaker Mario Negreiros, who inherited his vineyard from his grandfather in 2002, has produced a short video to celebrate the new partnership:

Naked Wines named Startups Business of the Year 2010

Innovative online wine merchant wins Startups Business of the Year award.

Online wine retailer Naked Wines , which has recently announced a £10million investment fund to unearth new winemaking talent, has been named the Startups Business of the Year 2010.

The Norwich-based company, which invests in independent winemakers in return for exclusive wines at preferential prices, also won the Online Business of the Year category.

Set-up six years ago to recognise the best of UK entrepreneurial talent, the awards were judged by a panel of 10 UK business leaders including the Toni & Guy Chairman Toni Mascolo.

The judges comments: “Naked Wines has enjoyed phenomenal growth both in sales and registered customers, and gained tremendous brand recognition in just two short years through its clever use of social media marketing, word-of-mouth and celebrity endorsements. We recognised the enormity of this achievement in such a competitive marketplace and commended founder Rowan Gormley and his team not only for the commercial success of the company, but for the business’ mission to fund other independent businesses. At a time when the government is waxing lyrical on the importance of an enterprise-led recovery, Naked Wines is certainly doing its bit, both for its army of loyal customers, and the wider business community.”

Rowan Gormley, Founder of Naked Wines and former CEO of Virgin Money and Virgin Wines: “To win two Startups awards, especially the big one, is an absolute honour. And it’s thanks to two sets of people; thousands of UK wine drinkers, our customers, who took the plunge and trusted us with their money. And our first few winemakers, who trusted us with their wines and adopted a new way of doing business. Since launch, we’ve helped 22 winemakers set up shop, create 85 new wines and sell over 1million bottles between them – and our goal for 2011 is to double this.”

Previous winners include Alliance & Leister, beathhatquote.com , Wonga and Glasses Direct.
