This upbeat dance song has it all – powerful vocals, a catchy hook, and danceable beats. The new single will be available on iTunes July 10th and the brand new video will premiere on Irina’s own YouTube page on July 23rd.
Irina’s current musical journey ensued after the night she discovered the house and electro music scene while attending a few events in Miami. Inspired by her personal discovery of music and her roots in rock with a passion for Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Madonna and Michael Jackson, Irina was determined to incorporate the passion and energy to her own music. Thanks to her tightly honed chops and razor-sharp pop instincts, her music emerges as a dance-music powerhouse that lifts the listener to a more blissed-out dimension. The lead single “Something About You” pairs throbbing beats with brain-bending synth that’s both hypnotic and irresistibly dizzying. And with her taut, sensually charged vocals, she reveals both a dreamy pop sensibility and a dance-icon-worthy command of vocal texture and rhythm, “I want everyone to turn it up as loud as possible when they’re driving fast down the freeway and just feel that amazing positive energy,” says Irina. “It’s all I’ve ever dreamed of my whole life. For her debut video, Irina teamed up with the famous choreographer Mickey Minden (Pussycat Dolls) and enlisted renowned director Dustin Robertson whose credits include Madonna, Mariah, J-Lo and Lady Gaga, just to name a few. Originally hailing from Moscow -this now Miami resident has prepared all her life to share her true passion by studying dance and music from a very young age. However, despite her formidable talents and boundless support from her “very cultured, very intellectual” family, she ended up studying global economics and psychology. Following her years of education she pursued a career as a therapist, which enabled her to partly fulfill her lifelong desire to “bring happiness to people,” Irina ultimately took to the “dance-music mecca” of Miami to follow through with her long-simmering pop ambitions.
