In a new study it has been revealed that almost half of British pet owners believe their four legged animals share their human emotions and can sense when they are upset or unwell.

The ‘Pets are Human Too’ study of 3,000 British dog and cat owners highlighted the common features we all share with our pets and showed that 32 per cent of feline and dog owners say their pet is a much better listener than their own human partner.
Of those surveyed, 15 per cent admitted they love their pet so much that they have their dog or cat’s image as their own Facebook profile picture, and 25 per cent have a picture of their pet as their office PC screensaver.
Forget traditional names like Spot and Scrappy, 33 per cent of the UK would rather give their animal a human name such as Dave, Alan or Sharon.
Just as you would buy a loved-one, family relative or friend a present this Christmas time, purchase your family pet some Dog toys or Cat Toys to play with over the holiday season.
