A Call for Artists for Online Art Competition, “ALL Animals”

“Solo Art Series” Online Art Competition Announced by Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) announces their inaugural “Solo Art Series” – An Opportunity to Shine. This competition will result in a series of 4 separate monthly solo art exhibitions beginning on September 15, 2015 and continuing through January 14, 2016.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 27, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) announces their inaugural “Solo Art Series” – An Opportunity to Shine. This competition will result in a series of 4 separate monthly solo art exhibitions beginning on September 15, 2015 and continuing through January 14, 2016.

The gallery invites online submission of all 2D and 3D art (including photography) from artists around the world for possible selection for one the Gallery’s initial monthly solo art exhibitions. The gallery encourages artists regardless of where they reside to submit their best representational and non-representational art to this competition. There is No Theme for this “Solo Art Series” Art Competition.

The top 4 entry packages will be featured online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of September, October, November and December 2015. The deadline to apply to the “Solo Art Series” Art Competition is September 5th, 2015.

The LST Gallery website averages 41,300+ visitors a month with more than 68,100+ page views. Out of those visitors, 75% are new visitors to the website. Being juried into the Solo Art Exhibition Series should result in an increase in visitor traffic to the artist’s website.

“Open” (No Theme) Online Art Competition Announced

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Open” Online Art Competition for the month of August 2015.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 22, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Open” Online Art Competition for the month of August 2015. The gallery encourages entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational and non-representational art. There is no theme for this art competition.

A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of September 2015. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places. Also, 5 Honorable Mention places will be awarded. In addition, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, Special Merit and Special Recognition awards will also be given as well. The submission process and the deadline will end on August 27, 2015.

The Guest Judge for this competition is Jeffrey Shonkwiler. He is the Founder of Florida Artists Registry, a member supported arts organization, created in 2000. He is past director of Gallery at Avalon Island where he curated over 60 exhibits. Art Gallery Named Arturo Gonzalez Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arturo Gonzalez is the gallery’s newest featured artist. He will now be promoted in the gallery’s artist showcase for the next 30 days.

Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arturo Gonzalez is the gallery’s newest featured artist. He will now be promoted in the gallery’s artist showcase for the next 30 days.

Arturo Gonzalez was born in Chicago, IL and he still resides in the area today. It wasn’t until 2010 that Arturo discovered a passion for photography.

The positive feedback from his friends helped fuel his growing love of photography. Arturo then upgraded his camera gear to a Nikon DSLR and he started to visit places he had only dreamed of including Hawaii, London, Rome, Paris, and Barcelona.

For Arturo, traveling and photography made the perfect combination. He explains, “You are exposed to many things you don’t see at home and photography allows you to capture those memories. In essence, you become a storyteller and photography becomes the medium you tell the story in. The internet allows the story to reach millions if you desire.”

Cityscapes and landscapes are Arturo’s favorite themes to capture in photography. Chicago is one of the best cities for people to capture beautiful cityscape photos. The national parks in the USA are second to none for landscape photography. An area that Arturo would like to delve into in the future is astrophotography. Figurative 2015 Art Exhibition Results Announced by Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2015 art exhibition, the 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 2, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2015 art exhibition, the 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is figurative and this is considered to be figures, forms and faces. Artists were asked to submit their best nonobjective or representational art for this competition.

An international art competition was held in June 2015 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 21 different countries and also received entries from 37 different states. Overall, 643 entries were judged for this art competition. The Guest Judge for this competition was Mary Kee, Principal and Creative Director of TheArtGuide.com. Below are some of her thoughts on this competition and her rationale for selecting the art for each media category.

“When a painting or photograph grabs your attention and you feel the need for a closer look, what are you reacting to? The responses will vary, but an eye-catching experience was the incentive for my review of the Light Space & Time’s 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Competition….”

The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s August 2015 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send the gallery their best interpretation of the theme “Nature” by depicting the physical world and is considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man. Subjects that would encompass the “Nature” theme would include geographical subjects, landscapes, natural objects, wildlife and natural environments. Jupiter, FL, USA (June 16, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that Margaret Girle is the gallery’s new featured artist and she will now be promoted in the gallery’s Artist Showcase.

Margaret Girle is an artist, educator and writer, Margaret Girle. She grew up on the Darling Downs in country Queensland, where she developed a love of nature which is portrayed in her large colourful, energetic artworks.

Having experience in a wide range of fields from Radio Copywriting, fashion design, innovation of her own art and coaching programs, Margaret decided as a young solo parent of three to go back to her art.

Having travelled extensively while in the airlines in her 20s, Margaret saw her art as part of her spiritual journey; gaining much insight which is reflected in her exhibitions which were held in Brisbane and New York, during and after her exhibitions.

As an artist Margaret believes that it is her responsibility to step into that space of ‘pure reflection’ and bring through on canvas, images of color, movement and joie de vivre to inspire others. Jupiter, FL, USA (June 1, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its June 2015 art exhibition, the 6th Annual “Abstracts” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is abstracts and artists were asked to submit their best nonobjective or nonrepresentational art for this competition.

An international art competition was held in May 2015 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 23 different countries and also received entries from 35 different states. Overall, 760 entries were judged for this art competition.

Jupiter, FL, USA (May 17, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Deb Della Piana is the gallery’s new featured artist and for the next 30 days will be promoted in the gallery’s artist showcase. Deb is a Massachusetts based fine art photographer.

It wasn’t until sometime in 2012 that Deb started seriously thinking about pursuing photography. Since the fall of 2014, Deb has held two self-funded solo photography shows and has been participating in local artist markets. She will participate in several over the summer of 2015 in the New England region. She has also been busy entering photography competitions, and has done well in several Light, Space & Time competitions too. She also won a Bronze medal in the Better Photography 2012 Photographer of the Year competition in the Nature category, and Honorable Mention in the Rachel Carson Photo Competition.

Deb maintains a busy photography blog at http://www.stoplookshoot.com, as well as a growing gallery at http://www.stoplookshoot.net. She plans to continue participating in competitions and local artist markets, while she puts together a strategy to make a gainful living at what she loves. Ideas include a third web site where businesses can lease or purchase photography for offices, and launching an out-of-the-box high school senior photo business.
