Ashley J, Dance Pop Sensation to Release Anticipated Debut EP Satisfied 3/23

On March 23, 2018, dance pop sensation Ashley Jis set to release her debut EP, Satisfied.

Los Angeles, CA, March 19, 2018 – On March 23, 2018, dance pop sensation Ashley Jis set to release her debut EP, Satisfied. On the EP, Ashley combinesher hit singles with unheard releases that she’s sure her fans will love. Ashley’s vocals swirl amidst innovative hooks and slick dance beats. Satisfied is fresh, modern, addictive, and meant to be devoured in one sitting – but it willstick in your head for the rest of the day.

Ashley’s talents for songwriting shine on Satisfied. She’s come a long way since the days of writing lyrics on her parents’ bathroom walls. In those days, the words would be painted over. Now, they linger in your mind. They’re thoughtful, resonant, and get stuck in your head just as much as the earworm hooks. From the triumphant “Unbreakable,” in which Ashley finds the courage to pursue her inner strength following heartbreak, to the soaring love song,“Satisfied” – the EP covers a vast array of human emotions. It’s mostly explosive, but when Ashley wants you to feel something quietly, just for a moment, she draws you in – then drops the beat.

Satisfied is almost constant energy, filled with dance anthems, and its premiere track in particular, “Trapped,” enjoyed four consecutive weeks at #1 on the European Independent Music Charts. Previous releases made it on the Billboard Top 10 Dance Charts, and given the sheer triumph that is Satisfied, a similar destiny awaits this new music from Ashley J, the Orlando native who started her own production company, then steadily conquered the world.

The five-track Satisfied starts with the already massively successful “Trapped,” and also includes “Unbreakable,” “Satisfied,” “Like You Used To,” and “When I Come Home To You.” Though the songs may differ in the level of party they bring (particularly the bookend tracks), throughout the entire EP, Ashley J’s powerhouse voice dazzles. She is a true talent, from the pen to the page, to her voice in the studio.

About Ashley J

Three-time Billboard charting artist Ashley J has a fascinatingly diverse background: artistically and musically. She packs a wallop of a voice that fuses an infectious blend of vocal dexterity, moods and range. Ashley tempers her vocal prowess with poignant lyrics and a kindred soul as an emerging songwriter/singer. And it’s all aptly and full exposed on her new pop EP, Satisfied, released through her own production company imprint, Bombshell Music, Inc. The EP features five tracks self-penned by the emergent Ashley J, incollaboration with many established producers, including Lucas & Adrian Rezza, Jamie Sellers, and Warwick Matthews.

On the title track “Satisfied,” Ashley worked with the multi-platinum, Grammy & Emmy-winning Narada Michael Walde, who called Ashley “a real American sweetheart with a big voice and lots of energy! She has soul and her beautiful smile lights up the room.”

Multiple singles off the EP have topped the European Independent Music Charts, particularly “Trapped,” which nabbed #1 for four weeks in a row. Her remixed singles of “One and One,” “Cali”and “Dare Ya” each made it to Billboard’s Top 10 Dance Charts in 2014 – 2016. The jubilant pop queen enjoys broad global appeal, with many drawn to her stellar, buoyant music. Step by step, Ashley continues her journey to become a revered figure in the world of pop music.

Fulham Demonstrates Newest Versions of FireHorse Emergency Ballasts; Now Compliant with CEC Title 20

Fulham Upgrades Emergency Ballasts to Newest Energy Conservation Standards Giving Distributors Compliant Fluorescent Options for New Installations and Retrofits.

Long Beach, CA, USA — At Strategies in Light this week, Fulham, a leading supplier of lighting sub-systems and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, will display the newest version of its FireHorse 11 (FH11) and FireHorse 7 (FH7) emergency fluorescent ballasts, which have been re-engineered to meet California Energy Commission (CEC) Title 20 specifications. The new FireHorse ballasts are not only more energy efficient to comply with Title 20, but they also operate with universal voltage so they can be installed in virtually any setting.

In compliance with CEC Title 20, once they are fully charged, the new FireHorse ballasts consume less than 1W of power in order to sustain emergency readiness. The FH11 ballast is designed to deliver a maximum light output of 750 lumens with a minimum illumination time of 90 minutes on battery power. The FH7 universal voltage emergency ballast delivers up to 500 lumens for a minimum of 90 minutes.

“While Fulham continues to be a leader in LED components, we recognize that our customers will continue to need fluorescent lighting for some time,” said Russ Sharer, Vice President of Global Marketing for Fulham. “With new energy conservation requirements for Title 20 products, we know both the FH11 and FH7 will be popular with our distributors. Contractors across the U.S. are looking for more energy-efficient lighting solutions; in fact, many earn a percentage of the energy they save. Supporting Title 20 compliance with lower wattage fluorescents will help everyone, even contractors who don’t install lighting in California.”

Like many of Fulham’s LED products, the new emergency fluorescent ballasts offer universal voltage with input currents ranging from 120 to 277V A. That means less inventory and lower costs for distributors and installers, since the units are compatible with more lamps. The units have an operating temperature between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius (32 and 131 degrees Fahrenheit) and are compliant with UL924, damp-rated, and field or factory installable.

SunGreen Systems Completes Construction of 183 kW Solar PV System and Sustainable LED Lighting for Mortech Manufacturing

Combination of LED Lights and Solar Power Results in Green Lighting System with Substantial Energy Savings.

Azusa, CA, USA (February 6, 2016) — SunGreen Systems (http://www.sungreensystems.com), experts in the design and construction of commercial solar systems and sustainable, smart energy solutions, will participate in today’s official ribbon-cutting of the new PV system for Mortech Manufacturing, makers of quality anatomy equipment and instruments for post-mortem facilities. The ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held at Mortech’s facility here is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and marks the culmination of a successful SunGreen Systems design and build project, where SunGreen was able to help Mortech Manufacturing realize substantial savings through a combination of sustainable solar power and LED lighting.

SunGreen Systems designed and installed a premium 183.4 kW solar array for Mortech Manufacturing. The solar system, one of the largest array in Azusa, will offset nearly 100 percent of Mortech’s total building electrical load. As part of the installation, SunGreen working in conjunction with LED Power Saver of Santa Clarita, Calif., also installed LED lighting to replace 900 conventional lamps, resulting in a savings of 50 percent of the lighting energy cost at an estimated annual savings of $19,000 in energy and maintenance costs. In fact, because of the substantial savings from the LED lighting system, SunGreen Systems was able to specify a smaller PV system to meet Mortech’s energy needs at considerable savings.

“This ribbon-cutting marks the completion of a showcase project for SunGreen Systems,” said Rick Hsu, CEO of SunGreen Systems. “The combination of solar power and low-energy LED lighting not only saves energy, it delivers better quality, broader spectrum lighting without glare or discoloration. LED lighting boosts the mood of the Mortech staff at the same time it saves on operational overhead.”

By adopting renewable solar energy and LED lighting, Mortech will eliminate 1,257,000 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions annually, 4,192 pounds of sulfur dioxide. 2.096 pounds of nitrogen dioxide, and 3,753 grams of mercury from florescent lamps. The positive environmental impact is the equivalent of planting 145 acres of trees or removing 96 automobiles from the roads.

SolaTrim Expands Market Reach for PV Protective Barriers with Calgary-based Value-added Distributor of Specialty Alternative Energy Products.

Sacramento, CA, USA (January 16, 2016) — SolaTrim™ LLC (http://www.solatrim.com), innovators in protective barriers to beautify and safeguard residential solar systems, today announced that the company has signed a distribution agreement with Hybrid Power Supply (http://www.hybridpowersupply.com) of Calgary, Alberta. With this new distribution agreement, SolaTrim not only expands its market presence into Canada but also opens up new sales opportunities in niche alternative energy applications.

Unlike many residential solar system distributors, Hybrid Power Supply targets specific channels and markets, including off-the-grid power systems, marine solar systems, and RV solar systems. FPL Helps Customers Save On Their Energy Bills with Seven Summer Tips

Easy savings are just a click away with Florida Power & Light’s free Online Home Energy Survey.

JUNO BEACH, Fla. (August 5, 2014) — Summer is synonymous with higher temperatures, and that may also mean higher than normal energy bills. As the days get longer and hotter, your air conditioner needs to run longer to keep you cool and can account for half or more of your bill.

“In hotter months, your A/C can run up to twice as long as it does in cooler months to keep your home at the same temperature. So when it’s running longer, your bill will be higher,” said FPL Energy Expert, Tiffany Spence.

To help customers make summer savings a breeze, FPL offers “Seven Summer Saving Tips”:

1. Set your thermostat at 78 degrees when you’re home, and 82 while you’re away. Make sure the fan switch is on “auto”
2. Use fans to keep cool but remember to turn them off when leaving the room
3. Close blinds and shades to keep heat out
4. Seal windows and doors with weather stripping to avoid air escapes and save even more
5. Grill outside instead of using the oven or stove to help keep your kitchen cool
6. Clean or replace your air filter regularly so your air conditioner runs efficiently
7. Just click to take FPL’s free Online Home Energy Survey at FPL.com/easytosave

The Online Home Energy Survey makes it easier than ever to fast-forward to savings. It provides customers with a personalized energy-savings plan, tips and recommendations to save up to $250 a year in energy costs. In addition, the survey is integrated with each home’s Energy Dashboard so customers can see just how much they are spending on cooling, heating and appliances. The survey’s report is updated automatically every month with customers’ hourly, daily and monthly energy usage, monthly bill amount and temperature fluctuations, so tracking where their energy dollars are being spent is a breeze.

“FPL customers have the lowest bill in the state and we’re always looking for ways to help them make it even lower,” added Spence. “Whether it’s adjusting our thermostats, remembering to turn off a fan when leaving the room or enjoying a nice evening grilling with family and friends, we’re all just a click away from changing the current way we use energy to make our bills even lower.”

10 Ways to Have an Energy Fit Holiday

The holidays can be an expensive time of year with plenty of gift giving, house guests and festive décor, making an impact on the wallet. While FPL customers already have the lowest energy bills in the state, the company is helping its customers make their bills even lower with 10 Ways to Have an Energy Fit Holiday.

Juno Beach, FL (November 28, 2012) — The holidays can be an expensive time of year with plenty of gift giving, house guests and festive décor, making an impact on the wallet. While FPL customers already have the lowest energy bills in the state, the company is helping its customers make their bills even lower with 10 Ways to Have an Energy Fit Holiday.

“Getting ready for the holidays can require a lot of energy, but most people probably aren’t thinking about the energy costs when it comes to entertaining, gift buying and decorating,” said Tim Fitzpatrick, vice president of Marketing & Communication for FPL. “The holidays are all about traditions, so by adding these energy-efficient changes FPL customers can be energy fit for years to come.”

1. Deck the halls with LEDs. When it comes to holiday lighting, LED lights are the bright choice to get you more for your money. The amount of power it takes to operate just one 7-watt incandescent holiday bulb could power two 24-foot LED strings – enough to light a six foot tree. Additionally, LED light strings last about 10 times longer.

2. Set time on your side. Set timers for your holiday displays to turn off before bedtime so there is no need to burn the lights all night long.

3. Switch your non-holiday lights. Before overnight guests arrive, switch out guest room and common area lighting to compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Each CFL bulb you install will save you about $50 in energy costs over the life of the bulb.

4. Turn it off. Remind guests to turn off lights and fans when they leave the room. Stopping one ceiling fan from running all the time and turning at least one light off when you leave the room can save you more than $7 a month on your electric bill.

5. Stop peeking! Ovens lose a lot of heat when opened and require significant energy to heat back up to the appropriate temperature. Instead, when you have to sneak-a-peek, turn the oven light on and look through the interior window.

6. Choose glass or ceramic pans for the oven. These pans heat faster than metal ones and allow you to set the temperature 25 degrees lower than a recipe suggests for the same cooking time.

7. Don’t forget your crock-pot. Use smaller appliances such as crock-pots, microwaves and toaster ovens when possible. These can be much more energy-efficient for side dishes or small meals.

8. Select energy-efficient electronics. When it comes to buying gifts for your loved ones, opt for a laptop computer over a desktop computer. Laptop computers require 50 to 80 percent less power than a desktop computer.

9. Let the star be your guide. Look for the ENERGY STAR logo when purchasing larger electronics or appliances. Newer ENERGY STAR models meet stricter requirements and can save up to 40 percent on energy over standard models.

10. Give the gift of light. Use solar-powered pathway or security lights for your home or as a gift to the person who loves being outside in the evening.

Nothing is scarier than wasting electricity on energy phantoms

“While FPL customers have the lowest electric bill in Florida, we’re committed to helping them and their families manage the energy they use every day,” said Craig Muccio, FPL Energy Expert.

Juno Beach, FL (October 31, 2012) — FPL offers kids Top 10 Tips to Fight Energy Phantoms lurking in homes this Halloween.

Florida Power & Light Company doesn’t want its customers to get spooked by energy phantoms creeping around this Halloween. In fact, the company has many ways to help shed light on these unwanted energy consumers.

Phantom energy, or phantom load, is electricity consumed by an electrical device when it is in the “off” mode. Many electronic items are in “standby” mode when turned off, helping them turn on faster or respond to a remote control. Power adapters, such as cell phone chargers, are also powered whenever they are plugged in. This is why they feel slightly warm even when there’s no device connected. Also, anything with a lit digital display uses a tiny bit of power, even when not in use.

“While FPL customers have the lowest electric bill in Florida, we’re committed to helping them and their families manage the energy they use every day,” said Craig Muccio, FPL Energy Expert. “Halloween is a perfect time to teach kids how they can rid their homes of these scary energy-phantoms.”

Top 10 Tips to Fight Energy Phantoms

1. Unplug your charger when you’re not charging your cell phone
2. Turn off electronics, like the radio, TV, computer and video games, as well as lights and ceiling fans when you leave a room
3. Keep windows and outside doors closed when the air conditioning is on
4. Open curtains so you can use the sunlight during the day
5. Use a small lamp when you read or study at night
6. Use the microwave to warm up food instead of the stove
7. Decide what you want from the refrigerator before opening the door
8. Turn off the dishwasher before the drying cycle to let the dishes air dry
9. Take short showers so you’re not using as much energy to heat water
10. Ask your parents to replace regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent lights

There are other tips that can help you reduce the amount of electricity you may not realize you’re wasting, find out what they are at, http://www.FPL.com/energyfit.

Energy-Efficient Donations help Fort Myers Homeless Organization save on its Electric Bill

Businesses and organizations looking to better manage their energy use and save on their monthly bills can take FPL’s free Business Energy Evaluation.

Juno Beach, FL (October 3, 2012) — Today, Florida Power & Light Company and local contractors led an effort to benefit a nonprofit organization that helps those in need every day. Fort Myers-based Community Cooperative Ministries Incorporated (CCMI) received a free energy makeover from FPL, which will help the organization save at least $3,000 a year in electricity costs.

Incorporated in 1984, the CCMI is dedicated to ending hunger in Lee County by providing nutritious meals, groceries, quality early childhood education, social services, case management and referral to the homeless, homebound, seniors, working poor, children and the frail in our community. The agency provides more than 14,000 meals each month through their Everyday Café & Marketplace and Home Delivered Meals programs. CCMI also educates 40 children in its Community Montessori, offers homeless and comprehensive case management services through its United Way Resource House, oversees an emergency mobile food pantry and supplies weekend backpacks full of food to more than 2,500 children each school year.

“We are so appreciative and thankful to FPL and its partners for their generosity and hard work in making our organization more energy-efficient,” said Tracey Galloway, CEO of Community Cooperative Ministries Incorporated. “It feels good to know that there are companies out there that take an active role helping those in need in our community. The money we save on our electric bill will help us to provide more comprehensive services to the homeless in our community.”

FPL and local contractors added film to all windows to save energy by reducing solar heat gain in summer and retaining heat in winter. Other upgrades included the installation of energy-efficient lighting and the addition of new freezer curtain strips in the organization’s large walk-in freezer to keep chilled air inside and energy bills even lower.

“We are very grateful for the CCMI’s important role in the community,” said FPL Community Relations Specialist, Tim Moore. “We’re happy that we are able to give back to such an integral organization in our neighborhood. This makeover has allowed us to give the CCMI a long-term return on the investments we make here today at no charge to them. FPL customers have the lowest electric bills in the state, and these upgrades will help them continue to save and further help others who need assistance.”

Most of the energy efficiency upgrades that were completed today can be adopted by any business customer looking to make smarter energy choices. Businesses and organizations looking to better manage their energy use and save on their monthly bills can take FPL’s free Business Energy Evaluation.
