Schweizer Award für Berliner Start-up: DELICARDO Foodcard ist Preisträger des aha!award 2010

DELICARDO Foodcard ist stolzer Preisträger des aha!award 2010 des Schweizerischen Zentrums für Allergie, Haut und Asthma.

Berlin, Germany, December 06, 2010 — Am 18. November in Bern wurde Simone Graebner für die Entwicklung der DELICARDO Foodcard – ein Produkt, das Menschen mit Nahrungsmittelallergien und -Intoleranzen hilft, ihre Lebensqualität zu erhalten – mit dem aha!award 2010 des Schweizerischen Zentrums für Allergie, Haut und Asthma ausgezeichnet.

“…dass wir den Preis gleich im ersten Anlauf nach Berlin holen konnten, macht mich überglücklich! Ich bin sicher, nach Deutschland-Österreich-Schweiz wird uns jetzt auch noch der Sprung über den großen Teich gelingen.”, sagte Simone Graebner, Geschäftsführerin und Gründerin von ENOMIS GmbH. “Unser Ziel ist es, das Leben von Menschen mit Nahrungsmittelallergien und -Intoleranzen beim auswärts Essen und auf Reisen leichter und angenehmer zu machen”.

Die Jungunternehmerin Simone Graebner machte aus der Not eine Tugend: Aus eigener Allergiebetroffenheit entwickelte sie für alle Allergie- und Intoleranz-Betroffenen eine international einsetzbare Gastrokarte als Bitte an den Koch zum Schutz vor Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten. Bereits jetzt zeigen Schweizer HealthCare-Firmen Interesse an dem einzigartigen Berliner Produkt.

Der aha!award ist eine Initiative des aha! Schweizerischen Zentrums für Allergie, Haut und Asthma, steht unter dem Patronat des Bundesamtes für Gesundheit der Schweiz (BAG) und wird von Persönlichkeiten aus Wissenschaft, Medizin und Industrie mitgetragen sowie von innovativen Schweizer Firmen unterstützt. Mit dem aha!award werden herausragende Leistungen und innovative Projekte mit hohem Stellenwert und direktem Nutzen für Allergiebetroffene ausgezeichnet.

Die Empfänger des aha!award 2010 werden von einer Vergabekommission aus namenhaften Ärzten, Stiftsräten, Mitgliedern von aha! und Vertretern des Schweizer Gesundheitsministeriums gewählt. Der Hauptpreis ging an Christian Bohren für sein jahrelanges Engagement in der Bekämpfung des invasiven und hochallergenen Unkrauts Ambrosia. Neben den DELICARDO Foodcards wurde ein Kinderbuch-Konzept zum Thema Neurodermitis von Minca Huber ausgezeichnet.

DELICARDO Foodcard Receives aha!award for Improving the Lives of Food Allergy and Intolerance Sufferers

DELICARDO Foodcard is a proud recipient of the aha!award 2010 from the Swiss Allergy, Skin and Asthma Centre.

Berlin, Germany, November 19, 2010 — Following up on the success of being awarded the ECARF Quality Seal for products that help give back quality of life despite allergies by the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation and the positive response to the DELICARDO Foodcard Customer Survey*, DELICARDO Foodcard has received the aha!award 2010 from the Swiss Allergy, Skin and Asthma Centre.

With the aha!award a jury of doctors, members of aha! and representatives of the Swiss Ministry of Health recognize outstanding achievements and practical, innovative projects of high value for allergy affected. Simone Graebner, the CEO and founder of ENOMIS GmbH, developer of DELICARDO Foodcards, was in Bern to receive the prize. “I am very proud to receive this award and look forward to helping more allergy sufferers out there” said Simone Graebner in Bern. “Our aim is to improve the quality of life of those with adverse food reactions by making eating out and travelling easier and enjoyable again and receiving this award shows us that we are on the right track”.

The other recipients of the 2010 aha!award were Minca Huber, writer of a witty, insightful book for children about a young girl who suffers from neurodermatitis titled Carmelitta Badhösi and a special mention was given to Christian Bohren for his outstanding contributions to the fight against the invasive, highly allergenic ambrosia plant.
