Portland, OR, February 05, 2012 – Spoken word poet, Max Sympathy and audio impresario, B.A.T. will be joining 40 other artists at the Launch Pad Gallery’s Hindsight is 20/20: Love in Retrospect show on Friday, February 10, 2012.

The Launch Pad Gallery, located in Portland, OR, has been hosting monthly live events since December 2005. Hindsight is 20/20: Love in Retrospect is a free, all-ages show open to the public from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This event will be the gallery’s 7th annual love show where artists deliver their personal commentary on this powerful emotion. The gallery is combining their showcasing of talented artists with a social benefit. They are partnering with the Oregon Food Bank to collect canned food to help feed locals in need.

Performing at the event will be poet, writer, filmmaker, performer Max Sympathy, aka Geoff Piper D’Alosio, on the microphone spewing his own brand of seemingly randomized poetry highlighting the plight of the hapless with uncommon style and wit. Joining Sympathy will be sound genie, B.A.T. (Best Audio Technology), aka Kevin Palmer, using his trademark analog electronic black boxes to create a fresh, improvised musical and audio score fleshing out the delivery and message of Sympathy’s poetic social commentary.

Max Sympathy and B.A.T. will be delivering their thought-provoking, hypnotic original material focusing on the evening’s theme and celebrate the artists’ latest collaboration, “Pleasures of Tomorrow”.
