“Open” (No Theme) Online Art Competition Announced

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Open” Online Art Competition for the month of August 2015.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 22, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Open” Online Art Competition for the month of August 2015. The gallery encourages entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational and non-representational art. There is no theme for this art competition.

A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of September 2015. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places. Also, 5 Honorable Mention places will be awarded. In addition, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, Special Merit and Special Recognition awards will also be given as well. The submission process and the deadline will end on August 27, 2015.

The Guest Judge for this competition is Jeffrey Shonkwiler. He is the Founder of Florida Artists Registry, a member supported arts organization, created in 2000. He is past director of Gallery at Avalon Island where he curated over 60 exhibits. He currently chairs the selection committee for 1st Thursdays at Orlando Museum of Art, and serves as a judge for each 1st Thursdays exhibit. (http://www.ArtistsRegistry.com)

Winners of the “Open” Art Exhibition will receive extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing, 70+ press release announcements, 75+ event announcement posts, extensive social media marketing and distribution, in order to make the art world aware of the art exhibition and in particular, the artist’s accomplishments. There will also be links back to the artist’s website included as part of this award package.

Art Gallery Named Arturo Gonzalez Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arturo Gonzalez is the gallery’s newest featured artist. He will now be promoted in the gallery’s artist showcase for the next 30 days.

Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Arturo Gonzalez is the gallery’s newest featured artist. He will now be promoted in the gallery’s artist showcase for the next 30 days.

Arturo Gonzalez was born in Chicago, IL and he still resides in the area today. It wasn’t until 2010 that Arturo discovered a passion for photography.

The positive feedback from his friends helped fuel his growing love of photography. Arturo then upgraded his camera gear to a Nikon DSLR and he started to visit places he had only dreamed of including Hawaii, London, Rome, Paris, and Barcelona.

For Arturo, traveling and photography made the perfect combination. He explains, “You are exposed to many things you don’t see at home and photography allows you to capture those memories. In essence, you become a storyteller and photography becomes the medium you tell the story in. The internet allows the story to reach millions if you desire.”

Cityscapes and landscapes are Arturo’s favorite themes to capture in photography. Chicago is one of the best cities for people to capture beautiful cityscape photos. The national parks in the USA are second to none for landscape photography. An area that Arturo would like to delve into in the future is astrophotography. Figurative 2015 Art Exhibition Results Announced by Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2015 art exhibition, the 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 2, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2015 art exhibition, the 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is figurative and this is considered to be figures, forms and faces. Artists were asked to submit their best nonobjective or representational art for this competition.

An international art competition was held in June 2015 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 21 different countries and also received entries from 37 different states. Overall, 643 entries were judged for this art competition. The Guest Judge for this competition was Mary Kee, Principal and Creative Director of TheArtGuide.com. Below are some of her thoughts on this competition and her rationale for selecting the art for each media category.

“When a painting or photograph grabs your attention and you feel the need for a closer look, what are you reacting to? The responses will vary, but an eye-catching experience was the incentive for my review of the Light Space & Time’s 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Competition….”

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Nature” Juried Art Competition for the month of July 2015.

Jupiter, FL, USA (June 23, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 5th Annual “Nature” Juried Art Competition for the month of July 2015. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s August 2015 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send the gallery their best interpretation of the theme “Nature” by depicting the physical world and is considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man. Subjects that would encompass the “Nature” theme would include geographical subjects, landscapes, natural objects, wildlife and natural environments. Jupiter, FL, USA (May 17, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Deb Della Piana is the gallery’s new featured artist and for the next 30 days will be promoted in the gallery’s artist showcase. Deb is a Massachusetts based fine art photographer.

It wasn’t until sometime in 2012 that Deb started seriously thinking about pursuing photography. Since the fall of 2014, Deb has held two self-funded solo photography shows and has been participating in local artist markets. She will participate in several over the summer of 2015 in the New England region. She has also been busy entering photography competitions, and has done well in several Light, Space & Time competitions too. She also won a Bronze medal in the Better Photography 2012 Photographer of the Year competition in the Nature category, and Honorable Mention in the Rachel Carson Photo Competition.

Deb maintains a busy photography blog at http://www.stoplookshoot.com, as well as a growing gallery at http://www.stoplookshoot.net. She plans to continue participating in competitions and local artist markets, while she puts together a strategy to make a gainful living at what she loves. Ideas include a third web site where businesses can lease or purchase photography for offices, and launching an out-of-the-box high school senior photo business. An international art competition was held in April 2015 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 19 different countries and also received entries from 37 different states. Overall, 598 entries were judged for this art competition.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that they have entered into a joint effort with ArtsyShark to create and maintain a “For Sale” online art gallery for their best artists in order to help them sell their art.

Jupiter, FL, USA (April 24, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that they have entered into a joint effort with ArtsyShark to create and maintain a “For Sale” online art gallery for their best artists in order to help them sell their art. The gallery is named the “Signature Artists Gallery” and it can be seen and accessed on ArtsyShark’s and LightSpaceTime’s Pinterest pages.

Signature Artists Gallery is a joint effort by ArtsyShark and Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. Both gallery’s will showcase their best artists, by invitation only, to pin their for sale art on this special Pinterest Board. All sales are direct with any of the participating artists and without any commissions.

The Pinterest Pages of both websites, ArtsyShark (http://www.ArtsyShark.com) and Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (http://www.lightspacetime.com) have a combined 250,000 visits per month and a combined 13,000 impressions per day, thus insuring a large audience reach for any artists who avail themselves of this Pinterest Board.
