Jupiter, Florida – June 2, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its June 2012 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Figurative” and artists were asked for their interpretation of this theme by depicting the human form or human features. “Figurative” was considered to be figures, forms and faces either in the representational or abstract genre.

An art competition was held in May 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 19 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 33 different states. Overall, there were 731 entries from 216 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Recognition artists. The gallery commends all of the winning artists for their artistic skill and their creativity, as this online art exhibition is indicative of their creativity.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 3rd Annual “Abstracts” Juried Art Competition for the month of June 2012.

Jupiter, Florida – May 21, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 3rd Annual “Abstracts” Juried Art Competition for the month of June 2012. 2D artists from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for inclusion into the Gallery’s July 2012 online group exhibition. The gallery encourages entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best non-representational abstract art.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from all 2D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of July 2012. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places. Also, 5 Honorable Mention places will be awarded. In addition, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, Special Recognition rewards will also be given as well. The submission process and the deadline will end on June 28, 2012.

An art competition was held in April 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 15 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 35 different states. Overall, there were 829 entries from 229 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us your best interpretation of the theme “Figurative” by depicting the human form or human features. “Figurative” is considered to be figures, forms and faces. We will accept art on this subject that is either representational or abstract, but please, do not submit any erotic art.

Jupiter, Florida – April 1, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its April 2012 juried art exhibition is now posted, online and ready to view on their website. The theme for this art exhibition is “CityScapes” and artists where asked to interpret and depict cities, towns, urban scenes and any related metropolitan subjects for the March art competition theme.

The gallery encouraged and accepted entries from all artists regardless of their experience and there were no geographic restrictions. The gallery received and judged 581 entries from 17 different countries and from 29 different states. The gallery also selected 120 artists for Special Recognition. Jupiter, Florida – March 01, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its March 2012 juried art exhibition is now posted, online and ready to view on their website. The theme for this art exhibition is “Landscapes” and artists where asked to interpret and depict the natural world, outdoor scenery, geographical environments’ and any related landscape subjects. Due to the volume of entries, the gallery decided to create 2 media categories and make awards for each, along with an Overall Category which was selected from the 2 media categories.
