US Chamber of Commerce Facebook Ad Backfires

With the US Chamber of Commerce (202-659-6000) recently announcing a seven digit advertising purchase featuring Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) trying to sell the illegal immigrant amnesty legislation found in Senate Bill 744 to conservatives, some of the ads are running on Facebook and receiving the opposite response the Chamber of Commerce and Marco Rubio hoped to elicit.

At the time of this release, the Facebook ad tied to the US Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page and launched on June 24 had received over 1,100 comments of which more than 95% are negative in nature! A review of the comments makes it clear that the ad has backfired and that the vast majority of people commenting oppose the bill Marco Rubio and the Chamber of Commerce are attempting to pass!

“It is clear from the fervent angry responses on Facebook that the US Chamber of Commerce ad has backfired and that Americans exposed to the ad are going to hold this support for amnesty for illegal aliens against the group in the future,” said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. “We need to find out where all this money the Chamber is spending is coming from and work as a nation to put an end to these groups trying to sell the American public a bill that will cost Americans our jobs, wages, taxpayer resources, lives, and national sovereignty!”

The ad reads, “Call your member of Congress today to support conservative immigration reform. 202-224-3121,” and features a video of the commercial with Marco Rubio claiming that amnesty legislation is needed to prevent “Defacto Amnesty.”

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC would like to know if Facebook is giving the US Chamber of Commerce special ad rates or free advertising since both Facebook and Google are supporting the amnesty too?

The significant, intense, and graphically one sided backlash against the US Chamber of Commerce ad featuring Marco Rubio on Facebook shows that the Chamber and Rubio are attempting to use their deep pockets and influence with large corporations to pass a bill (S. 744) that is opposed by most Americans and most conservatives due to the harm it will cause them and the nation!

The US Chamber of Commerce expensive ad has backfired just like Senate Bill S. 744 will backfire on the American public if it is ever signed into law.

American Public Screams ‘Stop’ To US Senate’s Immigration Amnesty Push

ALIPAC is calling on all American citizens to call Washington, DC, to demand that the US Senate delay any votes on the illegal immigration Amnesty bill S. 744 until the full impact of both the Corker-Hoeven amendment to the 1200 page bill and the recently revealed NSA and DHS surveillance of elected officials can be studied to determine how legislation could be manipulated by those with access to the NSA data.

Senator Harry Reid and the Obama administration are pushing senators to vote on a drastic rewrite of the illegal immigrant Amnesty bill S. 744 today and then final Cloture on the bill this week, despite the fact most senators will not have a chance to read the new changes or assess their impact on the legislation. The Corker-Hoeven amendment appears to be some hollow assurance of future border security in exchange for Amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants immediately.

“There will never be any border security or American borders for that matter if this bill is ever signed into law,” said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. “Lawmakers pushing this legislation that will prove highly destructive to American jobs, communities, and sovereignty are clearly not representing the interests of average American citizens. PAC Calls for Primary Challengers for GOP Senators Supporting Obama’s Amnesty Bill

America’s only political action committee dedicated to stopping and reversing illegal immigration and any form of Amnesty for illegal immigrants is calling for GOP primary challengers for any Republicans in Washington who vote “Yes on Cloture” for the Obama backed Amnesty bill S. 744 that is currently scheduled for a vote on Tuesday, June 11, at 2:15 pm ET.

“Republicans voting in support of Obama’s illegal alien Amnesty bill will pay a heavy price in the next elections!” said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. “We want the senators to filibuster S. 744 and vote ‘No on Cloture’ because this bill will destroy America’s ability to ever secure our borders or enforce our immigration laws in the future! Senate Bill S. 744 is close to having the 60 yes votes on Cloture needed to avoid a filibuster due to the announced support from GOP Senators Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Kelly Ayotte, John McCain, Jeff Flake, Orrin Hatch, and Lindsey Graham, who are siding with Barack Obama and Harry Reid and most Democrats in support of the Amnesty bill.

ALIPAC believes that most Americans oppose the Amnesty for illegal immigrants contained in S. 744, that a super majority of Republicans oppose the measure, and that much greater numbers will rue the passage of the bill when the negative consequences for American workers, taxpayers, and voters quickly manifest after passage.

“Many more Americans are going to be killed by illegal aliens than the current thousands we are losing each year due to the current under-enforcement of our existing immigration and border laws,” said William Gheen. “The number of Americans who lose their jobs, communities, taxpayer and healthcare resources, and voting impact will rapidly increase. A similar bill was passed that gave illegal immigrants Amnesty in 1986. At the time, Americans were promised future border enforcement that never materialized. The 1986 Amnesty was supposed to be for 1 million illegals, but quickly expanded to Amnesty for 3 million illegal immigrants. This disaster led to the 12-20 million illegal immigrants residing in America in 2013. Using the mathematics of the 1986 Amnesty bill, passage of Senate Bill 744 “Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act” will lead to more than 30 million new illegal immigrants in America by the year 2028.

ALIPAC contends that Washington, DC, is operating under a one party system that is masquerading as a two party system, and that this problem is depriving Americans of a choice on important issues such as illegal immigration, bailouts, war, civil liberties, privacy rights, and all other issues of contention.

National Leader Volunteers For Ilario Pantano Campaign for Congress in Wilmington NC

Ilario Pantano faces NC State Senator David Rouzer in the GOP primary to be settled on May 8. ALIPAC has endorsed Ilario Pantano for his strong stance in favor of immigration law enforcement instead of Amnesty.

In contrast, David Rouzer has lobbied Congress in the past in an effort to pass Amnesty legislation for illegal aliens that is opposed by a large majority of American and GOP voters.

Ilario Pantano has made fighting illegal immigration a top issue in his campaign. He has vowed he will oppose any form of Amnesty for illegal immigrants that would allow them to stay in the United States.

Ilario Pantano has attended recent immigration hearings conducted by the NC General Assembly. His opponent David Rouzer has not attended these meetings even though he serves as a state legislator.

(For National Release) Raleigh, NC, USA (March 23, 2012) — “ALIPAC endorsed candidates represent the members of the US Congress and challengers who are aligned with the large majority of Americans who want more done to stop and reverse illegal immigration in our nation,” said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. “We are going to work hard to make sure that voters in these districts know that our endorsed candidates stand with them against illegal immigration and any sneaky form of Amnesty that would further erode America’s sovereignty and stability.”

ALIPAC is starting 2012 operations with more incumbent endorsements than ever before due to the high degree of success immigration law enforcement advocates earned in the 2010 elections.
