INTERIORS 2011 PROVES A SUCCESSFUL SHOWCASE FOR IN:STYLE DIRECT’S NEW FURNITURE COLLECTIONS

Interiors 2011 has proved to be an incredibly successful showcase for furniture and soft furnishing specialist In:Style Direct, with top retail buyers keen to see the company’s exciting new collections. The new Manhattan by Guru range of mango wood furniture was a real favourite, as were new designs of sofas and easy chairs and some great new lighting ideas – the company is now busy fulfilling orders for the new ranges that will be in stores soon.

“Our collections have been very well received by visitors. reports In:Style Direct Managing Director Anita Mehra. It was fantastic to see independent retailers, department store buyers, interior designers and property developers all making a bee line to our stand and greeting our new designs with such enthusiasm. And of course were delighted that so many retailers are stocking our ranges for the first time.”

One of In:Style Directs most popular collections this year was the Manhattan by Guru range of mango wood furniture, a new range (launched at the show), which includes dining tables and chairs, coffee tables, TV units, sideboards and shelving units. Mango wood has an exotic, dark finish and beautiful grain – pieces are carved from a single piece of wood, giving a unique, high quality finish while the furniture’s simple, curved lines complement both contemporary and more traditional interiors.

Lighting was another important area, with key pieces from In:Style Directs newly extended range on display for the first time. Modern, geometric designs such as the Shangrilla black floor lamp (also available in red, white or silver) were hot favourites, making a real impact with buyers.

Also hitting stores soon will be the Savoy two-seater sofa, from In:Style Directs Contemporary range. Comfortable and stylish, it’s simple design looks fantastic in a modern interior and its available in a range of on-trend colours beige, tweed, grey, burgundy or khaki.

Alongside this was another new item, the Alicante, an attractive, easy chair in silver or dark ash.

Coffee tables were also a real hit, with the distinctive Turnham coffee table, featuring an unusual double disc design, in either Wenge (a very dark, tropical wood) or hi-gloss white also well liked.

“This is our second year exhibiting at the show and were thrilled that once again, our products are proving to be so popular with retailers, particularly those that are new to the In:Style Direct range.” continues Anita.

“We’re now busy fulfilling the many orders that we received during the show. Were able to deliver over 90% of the orders direct from stock, so retailers are receiving their orders very quickly which, of course, has been welcomed by all those planning their retail displays for the coming season. Interiors 2011 has been a highly successful show for us, and with our new designs getting such a seal of approval, this promises to be a great year for In:Style Direct.”
