New Studio in Ballard Neighborhood Provides Classes for All Skill Levels, Offers Free Week of Classes to New Students

Seattle, WA, September 04, 2012 – Seattleites looking to try yoga for the first time during National Yoga Month can head to the city’s newest studio. CorePower Yoga, a yoga brand with a commitment to making yoga accessible to all, today opened its first Seattle yoga studio in the Ballard neighborhood. To welcome new students, the studio is offering individuals one week of unlimited free yoga classes.

“Seattle is a city with a vibrant culture of active people, and we are thrilled to become a part of this community,” said Sarah Goble, manager of the new studio and regional manager and director of teacher training for CorePower Yoga’s Northwest Region. “We look forward to welcoming new yoga students of all ability levels – from people who have experienced the benefits of yoga for years to those who are just trying it out for the first time.”

The newly opened Ballard yoga studio offers residents access to CorePower Yoga’s unique brand of invigorating yoga and lifestyle classes that accommodate students of all skill and fitness levels. Course offerings include a variety of yoga styles, including CorePower Yoga’s dynamic Power Yoga in beginner to advanced formats, Yoga Sculpt and Hot Power Fusion. New students can view class schedules at www.corepoweryoga.com.

Classes are set to energizing music and promote both physical and mental benefits. Students are in good hands with CorePower Yoga’s certified instructors, who follow consistent class formats and provide hands-on assists to help individuals safely advance and improve their yoga practice.

The Ballard yoga studio also offers cross-training opportunities through lifestyle programs, such as cleanses and boot camps, as well as CorePower Ryder indoor cycling classes. CorePower Yoga also offers Yoga Teacher Training Programs for students who want to expand their practice and potentially instruct classes in the future.

“National Yoga Month is the perfect time to give yoga a try if you’re a first-timer, or to reinvigorate your practice if you’re an experienced yogi,” said Goble. “Regardless of your skill level, we hope to create an environment where members of the Ballard community can interact and flourish.”

The Ballard yoga studio features a modern design, with two large yoga rooms and a CorePower Ryder room. Amenities include a lounge area, spacious changing rooms with showers and private lockers and a full retail boutique.

In its commitment to sustainable practices, CorePower Yoga maintains recycling and waste management programs, uses recyclable products and selects sustainable fixtures and materials for its studios. All CorePower Yoga studios utilize the latest technology to efficiently heat and maintain the controlled climates of the yoga rooms.

Residents can look forward to a second Seattle yoga studio in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, which is set to open before the end of 2012.
