FED Publishing Releases New Book, “Fables for Wisdom Seekers Young and Old” by Barbara A. Meyers

Fables for Wisdom Seekers Young and Old, by Barbara A. Meyers, shares with us stories that help children deal with many of today’s issues.

Henniker, NH, USA — Barbara A. Meyers’s Fables for Wisdom Seekers Young and Old helps you guide children through many of today’s difficult issues.

Following in the legacy of teaching stories, Fables for Wisdom Seekers Young and Old invites caring adults and children ages 6-11 to explore together ideas about building self-esteem, the challenges of being a member of a family, school, and community, as well as being a citizen of the world.

Each fable is accompanied by a series of suggested talking points to support adults in deepening the story and moving it from the realm of fantasy to the everyday world of the child and reader. These conversations join the natural instincts of children – their curiosity, intuitive knowing, zest for learning, open-hearted caring, innate wisdom and joy in playing – with the wisdom adults have gained through experience. Together children and adults build a bridge to a future in which our ways of being reflect what is fair and just for all who share this planet.

“I really loved this book and can see so many possibilities of integrating it in my classroom.” ~Rogene Carter

She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families often drawing upon stories and their embedded lessons as teaching tools. In 2006, she was named New Hampshire’s Social Worker of the Year. Austrian Contemporary Artist Chris Delias Awarded Solo Art Exhibition

The exhibit will be curated by Mariavelia Savino, Contemporary Art Projects USA’s Chief Curator, and held at West Gallery, 3800 N. W. 115 Avenue in Doral, Florida. The opening reception will take place on May 18, 2017, at 11:00 am.

Miami, FL, USA — Miami Dade College West Campus Gallery – under the umbrella of The Museum of Contemporary Art + Design, and in collaboration with Contemporary Art Projects USA – will host the first Solo Exhibition of Austrian Contemporary Artist, Chris Delias titled: #CityofLife. The exhibit will be curated by Mariavelia Savino, Contemporary Art Projects USA’s Chief Curator, and held at West Gallery, 3800 N. W. 115 Avenue in Doral, Florida. The opening reception will take place on May 18, 2017, at 11:00 am.

Two issues have developed into our society’s highlights and an important part of the fashionable industry. The first one is the digital cell-phone as a picture taking camera with the ability of allowing its users to take selfies that are then posted in Social Media pages to be seen through the same cell-phone or another, as well as in a personal computer. The second issue is branding. It will refer to the clothing of the posers, and even to the brand of their car. In addition to brands such as Chanel, Vuitton, Nike, Ferrari or Lamborghini, just to name a few, today distinguished just by a simple logo or pattern that entitles the bearer to feel a somewhat superiority, there is now the digital practice of working with symbols to reduce wording and sentences. This has created the fashion of communicating by using “emojis” or “emoticons” that have shortened our language to like or unlike, smiles, tears or hearts, just to express with one only image what we feel or think on almost anything happening in our lives. This can be at the same time a positive or negative phenomena according to the point of view from which we judge it. Certainly, it is making to communicate universal for anybody, no matter where they are or what language they speak, going beyond location and the nature of the event portrayed.

However, according to artist Chris Delias: “3D printing is revolutionizing the way we design and build things. Several Social Media concepts have tried to digitalize our daily lives and the relationships between humans, all they do is make our lives more public and predictable. But: Social Media is just the symptom! The root cause of this sickness is superficiality. The result is what I call ‘Anti-Real-Relationship’ demonstrated in the artificial connections and relationships on various social media. For me it is terrible to see how real friends, real relations and feelings become less important and more voyeuristic. Of course, these social media have revolutionized the way we communicate and made it easier to stay connected regardless of where we are at any given moment. Everything that makes our lives easier and faster has a chance to be successful, but it leaves a gap between the digital and the real. My art intends to close this gap… My art should depict emotions, humans, faces in a way that you can’t find in our digitalized society. For me the spotlight is on the beauty of humanity, it’s my first priority – emotions caused by love, music, harmony… But, not only the sunny side of the world will be represented in my art – people don’t just love one another – they hate and fight – they lose, feel intense pain, experience crushing war and destruction, all of which are part of human interaction… My work should not show the reality 1:1 – the colors, proportions and poses I use are reflective of my emotions and feelings during the painting process. It is an interactive process between my soul, the model or person and the canvas – an interactive realism. My art is a projection of the reality to my soul.” Mariavelia Savino is the Curator of the exhibition.

Infinity SAV USA Nominated for the Katerva Award

Infinity SAV USA has been nominated by Katerva Award for sustainable innovations in Clean Energy.

Seattle, WA, USA — Infinity SAV USA (http://www.infinitysav.us) has been nominated for the Katerva Award for sustainable innovations in Clean Energy. Katerva Award (http://www.katerva.net) is often referred to as the Nobel Prize of Sustainability. Gary Tripp, President of Infinity SAV USA says their, “generator will stop Climate Change by eliminating CO2 from electricity and transportation and will cut the cost of power by 90%.” Katerva selects the companies with innovations that will change the market and the environment for the better and Infinity certainly does.

Infinity SAV USA technology claims it technology will replace fossil fuels for electricity and transportation. The company’s working generator prototype is powered by permanent magnets and produces 3 kW of excess energy. The generator has been demonstrated to hundreds of people including engineers and academics.

The Infinity generator technology will benefit everyone – the poor villager with no electricity, who has to walk miles for water and the clogged cites breathing polluted air. Infinity’s generator powered solely by permanent magnets will replace fossil fuels for electricity and transportation.

Infinity SAV USA Incorporated is developing an electric generator to power homes and small businesses for as little as $0.02 per kWh. The goal is to stop climate change, save the environment, and save money.

The company has uploaded several video demonstrations to YouTube and those videos have received 500,000 views, and many many requests to purchase generators. The company plans to use this technology as the starting point to develop a 20 kW generator that will completely power a house or small business.

The company’s founder and inventor, Andrii Slobodian, explains that the generator has permanent magnets in the stator and coils of copper wire in the rotor. When a magnet approaches a coil of copper wire, it induces a like polarity in the coil. North induces North and North repels North and that causes the rotor to spin and creates power.

Skeptics say it is impossible because it violates the Law of Conservation of Energy. Infinity responds by pointing to their working prototype. Magnets are caused by quantum mechanical spin of unpaired electrons. The company believes their generator conforms with Law of Conservation of Energy on the quantum level. Electron spin may be the source of the quantum effect causing this new source of energy. (Electrons don’t spin, it is just shorthand for “maintaining their magnetic dipole moment.”)

The company is using the crowdfunding site Fundable.com to raise money to complete the engineering in the US for a bigger version of the generator.

The many benefits of this new energy source include cheap, clean, renewable, 24/7 electricity with no CO2. These generators could be used to power a house, charge the battery of electric cars, or provide power in remote locations. Decreasing the cost of electricity and stopping pollution will benefit everyone, especially the poorest among us.
