IAPAM hCG Protocol Remediates Rising Healthcare Costs

Over 21,000 patients have successfully lost weight using the IAPAM’s Exclusive hCG Protocol, and a new study from Cornell University reports that rising healthcare costs can be positively impacted through offering patients safe and sustained weight loss programs.

Las Vegas, Nevada (April 18, 2012) — The IAPAM offers the most comprehensive hCG Training for physicians looking to add hCG for weight loss to their practices. Over 21,000 patients have successfully lost weight using the IAPAM’s Exclusive hCG Protocol, and a new study from Cornell University reports that rising healthcare costs can be positively impacted through offering patients safe and sustained weight loss programs.

A recent study from Cornell University found that, “obesity now accounts for almost 21 % of U.S. health care costs – more than twice the previous estimates.” The study also reports that “an obese person incurs medical costs that are $2,741 higher than if they were not obese. Nationwide, that translates into $190.2 billion per year, or 20.6 % of national health expenditures. Previous estimates had pegged the cost of obesity at $85.7 billion, or 9.1 % of national health expenditures.” Moreover, a similar study in March 2012 from the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, reported that, “obesity [now] adds more to health care costs than smoking does.”

In an effort to support physicians as they offer safe and effective weight management programs to their patients, the IAPAM (http://www.iapam.com) has developed a tool to bring trained hCG physicians and patients together: the IAPAM’s hCG Diet Clinic Directory (http://www.iapam.com/aesthetic-resources/hcg-diet-clinics). The IAPAM’s hCG Clinic Listing offers the most comprehensive hCG Diet Clinic listing of physicians, all of whom have been expertly trained in hCG for weight loss, by the IAPAM.

Patients seeking physicians, who have completed the IAPAM’s hCG Training, can browse the directory to find an hCG expert physician in their area. All physicians listed on the IAPAM hCG Diet Clinic Directory page have:

1. advanced training in utilizing hCG for weight loss,
2. only offer pharmaceutical grade hCG, and
3. all their hCG patients use the IAPAM’s comprehensive hCG Protocol Patient Guidebook.

Jeff Russell, Executive Director of the IAPAM, and a member of the expert faculty of instructors at the IAPAM’s hCG Physician Weight Loss Training, comments that, “since being showcased on the Dr. Oz Show in February 2011 and March 2012, patient demand for medically supervised hCG weight loss has exploded. We are seeing a correlating increase in physician-demand for the IAPAM’s hCG training, to capture this growing market.” To date, “well over 21,000 patients have successfully lost weight on hCG using the IAPAM’s Exclusive hCG Protocol (http://www.hcgtraining.com), based on Dr. Simeons manuscript, Pounds and Inches, and the IAPAM’s hCG training is taught by a faculty who operate hCG weight loss clinics, allowing physicians and their staff to learn from the faculty’s vast experience,” shares Russell.

IAPAM’s hCG Training is Complete and Comprehensive

Physicians who have attended the IAPAM’s full day hCG training are the best trained hCG physicians in North America. In fact, the IAPAM’s hCG Training is the only medical weight loss training approved for a special medical malpractice rate for those who have attended and have been certified by the IAPAM.

For physicians interested in adding hCG for Weight Loss, please note that all of the IAPAM’s hCG Medical Weight Management seminars in 2010-2012 have sold out. To register for the next session in 2012, please visit: http://www.hcgtraining.com or contact the IAPAM at 1-800-219-5108 ext 708.

Mitt Romney Change On Illegal Immigration Issue Could Spell Doom for America

Several national media outlets are trying to suggest that a Mitt Romney flip flop on the issue of illegal immigration is imminent now that Romney is the presumptive winner of the GOP primary.

Raleigh, NC, USA (April 18, 2012) — Several national media outlets are trying to suggest that a Mitt Romney flip flop on the issue of illegal immigration is imminent now that Romney is the presumptive winner of the GOP primary. ALIPAC is issuing a national advisory that such a radical shift could spell doom for the Romney campaign and the country.

Mitt Romney (857-288-3500) is currently experiencing a surge in support as GOP voters begin coalescing behind his campaign after one of the most dramatic GOP Presidential primaries in modern history.

Mitt Romney won the primary by addressing the top issue of illegal immigration from an enforcement only approach. Romney asked Kris Kobach, a national leader in the fight against illegal immigration to be on his campaign “team.” Romney promised primary voters that millions of illegal aliens would be forced out of America, that he would veto the Dream Act Amnesty, and that Arizona’s controversial immigration law would be his “model for the nation”.

“Any reversal on these positions would destroy his credibility, alienate Conservative American voters who outnumber Latino voters, and exert the same pressures on Mitt Romney that destroyed John McCain and Rick Perry’s campaigns,” said William Gheen who is a prior GOP campaign consultant and current President of ALIPAC. “Not only would a Romney shift on immigration hurt him among Americans concerned about illegal immigration but it would signal that he cannot be trusted on any issue or topic whatsoever.”

If Mitt Romney (857-288-3500) betrays his promises to voters and his constitutional obligation to enforce America’s existing border and immigration laws, then American voters will have been tricked. Once again, Americans will be trapped between voting for a Republican or voting for a Democrat candidate who support Amnesty for illegal aliens.

Any form of Amnesty or change in our current laws to accommodate illegal aliens will eventually lead to the displacement of tens of millions of American voters. America will be defenseless against future waves of illegal immigration and the nation that once stood on this continent will be destroyed.

ALIPAC is calling on national supporters to contact the Mitt Romney campaign to ask him to remember his promise to oppose Amnesty and enforce existing immigration laws. Callers will also ask Romney to avoid Amnesty supporting Senator Marco Rubio as his running mate.

“Marco Rubio supports Amnesty for illegal aliens and this would greatly harm Romney’s campaign and this nation if he is a running mate,” said William Gheen. “Mitt Romney needs a strong female conservative running mate to attract female voters. He needs candidates like Jan Brewer and Michele Bachmann who oppose Amnesty for illegal aliens. Marco Rubio’s Amnesty for illegal aliens plan is ‘conservative suicide acceptance plans’ that should be rejected.”

A Mitt Romney flip flop on immigration issues could demoralize the largest block of American voters known as “Conservative Voters” and result in Democrats taking back control of the US House.

“If Romney flip flops on immigration issues the resulting demoralization of Conservative voters could leave America with a liberal Republican or Democrat in the White House as well as Democrats being in control of both chambers of Congress!” said William Gheen. “That could be enough to finally kill America.”

The illegal immigration invasion of America is being supported by elite politicians, corporations, and financial interests that appear to have more influence on lawmakers than American citizens. Certified scientific polling data shows that a super majority of Americans consistently oppose any form of Amnesty including the Dream Act Amnesty by a factor of at least 3 to 1 (Rasmussen Reports, Oct. 2007).

ALIPAC is calling on Americans to bombard Romney’s offices (857-288-3500) with requests that he represent the majority of American citizens on immigration issues instead of the illegal immigration supporting special interests.

Mom’s Prefer Experience Gifts Over Knick Knacks

‘Experience’ gifts like a hot air balloon ride are popular because the balloon provides a platform for a 360 degree view with once in a lifetime visual creating a vivid and lasting memory. If people really want to make special occasions ‘special’ they need to do something special like collecting experiences rather than knick-knacks to put on a shelf.

Plymouth, MI (April 18, 2012) — This Mother’s Day, many moms across Michigan will be taking a trip of a lifetime in a hot air balloon.

“Experience’ gifts like a hot air balloon ride are popular because the balloon provides a platform for a 360 degree view with once in a lifetime visual creating a vivid and lasting memory. If people really want to make special occasions ‘special’ they need to do something special like collecting experiences rather than knick-knacks to put on a shelf,” says Scott Lorenz, President and Chief Pilot of Westwind Balloon Company of Plymouth, Michigan. (http://www.westwindcos.com/balloon) (http://www.youtube.com/embed/pmMvCYJqbHA)

“It’s not just for mom either. Since two people go along with the pilot it’s a perfect experience gift that both mom and dad or other friends and family can enjoy together because each flight is for two people.”

Lorenz says nobody forgets their first balloon flight because it’s an experience that cannot compare to anything else. The sensation of flying over trees, lakes and streams, spotting deer and other wildlife is unique and inspiring. When a gift touches someone both emotionally and on a multi-sensory level they never forget it.

The balloon flight costs $695 for two people. Gift certificates for flights in the area over Kensington Park in Milford, Michigan can be purchased by calling 734-667-2098 or by visiting http://www.westwindcos.com/balloon/ or via email at: scottlorenz[at]westwindcos[dot]com. Checks, AMEX, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card are accepted. Flights are scheduled May through October.

NanoMarkets Announces Release of New Report on Metal Oxide Thin Film Transistors (TFTs)

NanoMarkets announces the release of its new report on emerging opportunities for metal oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs).

Glen Allen, Virginia – April 17, 2012 — Industry analyst firm NanoMarkets announces the release of its new report on emerging opportunities for metal oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs). In the new report, which is titled, “Metal Oxide Thin-Film Transistor Markets,” NanoMarkets estimates that the total market for display backplanes based on oxide TFTs will reach $2.1 billion by 2017. Additional details about the report are available at: http://nanomarkets.net/market_reports/report/metal_oxide_thin_film_transistor_markets

About the Report:

This report shows how oxide TFTs will become an important enabling technology for the display industry providing an improved path to lower power consumption, higher refresh rates and other capabilities that are increasingly valued by display makers. NanoMarkets projects that oxide TFT backplanes will offer these capabilities at a reasonable cost and with scalable manufacturing processes. Oxide TFT backplanes are seen by NanoMarkets as an improvement over the common amorphous silicon based backplanes which are reaching their performance limits and also over the newer LTPS approach which is expensive and limited in scalability.

This report includes detailed eight-year forecasts of oxide TFT backplanes in both value and volume terms, with breakouts by type of display (LCD and AMOLED) and display application (smartphones, televisions, tablets and PCs). It also contains analysis of the leading firms active in the oxide TFT space and their product/market strategies, including AUO, CBRITE, Hewlett Packard, Jusung Engineering, JX Nippon Mining & Metals, LG, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Toppan Printing, Toshiba and Ulvac Materials.

From the Report:

In the coming battle between LCD and AMOLED technologies for dominance of the high-performance display market, NanoMarkets notes that firms supplying oxide TFT-based backplanes will assume the role of “arms dealers” supplying both camps.

LCD makers will ultimately turn to oxide TFTs because oxide TFTs can offer better performance than LTPS at a much lower cost which will help LCD address the onslaught of AMOLEDs. And although LCD firms are notoriously reluctant to adopt new materials, NanoMarkets says that even quite small penetration by oxide TFTs in this sector will generate large revenues. In the report NanoMarkets expects revenues from oxide TFTs sold into the LCD sector to reach $ 1.9 billion by 2017.

Meanwhile, NanoMarkets projects that oxide TFTs will become a major enabling technology for AMOLED displays, especially large AMOLED TVs. While the commercialization of such displays has been frustrated by the lack of an effective backplane technology, oxide TFTs bring small transistor size to the table thus allowing more space for emission from the OLED; low cost; and good uniformity. Given the impressive features of oxide TFTs, oxide TFTs will penetrate the AMOLED market quite quickly.

About NanoMarkets:

NanoMarkets tracks and analyzes emerging market opportunities in energy, electronics and other markets created by developments in advanced materials. The firm is a recognized leader in industry analysis and forecasts of this kind and has been covering the OLED device and materials sectors for more than six years.

Pam Brekas is the Featured Artist for Light Space & Time Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that Pam Brekas is this month’s featured artist.

Jupiter, Florida – April 17, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that Pam Brekas is this month’s featured artist. Pam is a northern Nevada based abstract painter and digital photographer who has participated in many of the gallery’s exhibitions, since the August 2010 “Abstractions” exhibition.

Besides being an award winning artist, Pam is also an art instructor in her home studio in Gardnerville, Nevada and St. Mary’s Art Center in Virginia City, NV, as well as an arts & crafts instructor on cruise ships.

Since 2001 Pam has received over 170 awards for her abstract painting and digital photography in juried local, state, regional, national and international shows, including an experimental art award in 2002 from the Livermore Art Association. Her work has hung in solo shows in art centers and museums on the west coast and in group shows throughout the county.

Pam states about her art, “Art is an adventure for me. It’s a creative playground to explore as I figure out what I’m going to do when I grow up-or maybe I will just play my way through life and forget growing up.”

She goes on further and says, “Painting, drawing, collage, photography and writing have always been a part of my life and I see no reason to stop any of them. The arts give the soul a voice and everyone has a voice-some just don’t realize it yet or fear the unknown. Since my art is unconventional, using linoleum brayers and kitchen spatulas as my tools, people look at it as play. I will therefore paint and play and not worry about the consequences.”

Finally, Pam states that, “God paints with me and through me, giving rise to images and combinations of colors and shapes that I alone with a brush would not be able to make. It is a moment of clarity and truth-my truth-that allows for the experience. Each moment in time is a NOW, and if I remain in the NOW, then I have no past or future to concern me. Paint in the NOW. Don’t judge, don’t criticize, don’t fret, just blissfully paint, and enjoy the NOW. Your truth will emerge as you create.” Pam Brekas’ wonderful art and portfolio can be viewed at http://www.pambrekas.com
