SmartTOP Add-On Convertible Top Controller for Peugeot 207CC Receives Enclosure Upgrade

The aftermarket SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller made by Mods4cars for the Peugeot 207CC convertible now ships with a new, custom designed product enclosure. This exclusive enclosure is smaller and easier to install in the car. Adding the SmartTOP convenience is now easier than ever.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), October 29th, 2013 — Owners of a Peugeot 207CC convertible can make using their top more fun with the SmartTOP Convertible Top Controller made by Mods4cars. The add-on kit allows use of the top while driving at slow speeds of up to 50 km/h (~28 mph) and with one-touch convenience.

The top can also be raised or lowered with the factory key fob remote by using an intuitive key press sequence. It is no longer necessary to stop and pull over or run to the car in case of sudden rainfall; or the top can be opened while approaching the car.

Aftermarket electronics specialist Mods4cars completely revamped the design of the SmartTOP module enclosure. Effective immediately all modules for the Peugeot 207CC come equipped with the new, slim plastic enclosure. The smaller, more elegant shape allows for much easier installation in tighter spaces.

Two nicely integrated LEDs show the current status of the product. Also included in the kit is a plug-in-between wiring harness which makes connecting the module itself to the vehicle electronics a quick and painless affair.

“Our new plastic shell was custom designed just for our SmartTOP modules.“ says PR-Manager Sven Tornow. “It neatly encloses all parts like the main connector, LEDs and the USB port. The two LEDs make installing even easier by showing detailed status or trouble information with two colors.“ Sven Tornow continues.

Also the programming of the user configurable settings is an easy and straightforward affair: All functions and settings are shown in the in-dash LCD in plain text. Apart from the main functionality the product offers a host of bonus features such as separate window and top control from the remote, one-touch window close operation for the console switch and an extended mode which allows turning the ignition on or off while the top is still moving. The entire module can also be temporarily disabled while retaining all user settings.

Mods4cars continually works on improving existing products. The standard USB port now present on all products helps owners to easily configure or update the module firmware. Updates are provided free of charge online. End users can easily keep their module up to date and profit from new features down the road.

Sweet Swan Story Helps Children Learn Courtesy

Houston, TX (USA), October 17, 2013 — Author Aleisha Larrell says her new book Black Girl in a White World is a story of her life growing up near Flint, Michigan. Since she was one of very few black children attending the Swartz Creek Community School District, Larrell said she always wondered “where do I fit?”

She wasn’t necessarily treated differently than the other children, but she said people often made ignorant comments. Black Girl in a White World is a funny, easy-to-read book that many people can relate to, Larrell said. The pages are filled with real stories about a young woman’s life experiences as a black girl in suburban America.

Born Aleisha Larrell Oden on April 15, 1987, the author graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 2005. Her mother, Shirley Gentry-Oden, is retired. While never really seeing herself as having a writing career, Larrell said that after college, she became dedicated to writing stories about her life and started blogging them. “I tell honest stories about life that people can relate to,” said the new author who now is open to writing additional books.

Presently, she is living in Chicago. She hopes that one day her book might lead her to an opportunity to meet talk show host Chelsea Handler, a comedian known for honest frankness.
