Mods4cars Video-in-motion Unlocker SmartTV for Volkswagen and Bentley in a New Design

The manufacturer Mods4cars has reworked the design of its retrofit SmartTV module. The Video-in-motion unlocker for Volkswagen, Bentley and Skoda is now also being shipped in the newly designed housing. It enables the passenger to use and operate the TV and DVD system during a drive. As the SmartTV Box is firmly installed in the vehicle, the function permanently remains.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), October 10th, 2017 — As of now the company Mods4cars delivers its Video-in-motion unlocker SmartTV for Volkswagen, Bentley and Skoda in a new housing. With the retrofit module it is possible to activate TV and DVD playback while driving. This allows the passenger to use the entertainment system and play DVDs during long journeys.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), September 4th, 2017 — The company Mods4cars now offers a smart convertible top solution for the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class (A217) cabriolet. The retrofit SmartTOP module allows, among other things, the operation of the convertible top via the console button via One-Touch. For the opening and closing of the roof it is thereby no longer necessary to hold down the button continuously. A brief tap is sufficient and the convertible top movement is carried out automatically.

Furthermore, the SmartTOP module makes it possible to operate the roof via the original vehicle key from a distance. Pressing a key combination on the remote control automatically opens or closes the soft top. “The SmartTOP customer can already open the convertible top as they approach their vehicle and start their journey top down,” explains PR spokesman Sven Tornow. A change to the car key is not required.

In addition, the latest development from Mods4cars has numerous additional features: The windows can be opened and closed by remote. It is adjustable whether windows should be raised after opening the top. With the window button in the center console all windows can be closed with One-Touch.

For vehicles with a keyless entry package, the top can be opened and closed by touching the door latch. On special request, the function “tear-wipe” was also added. After the use of the spray nozzles, wipers will wipe once or twice more after a short break.

All functions of the SmartTOP roof module can be programmed according to personal wishes. A USB port attached to the SmartTOP module makes it possible to connect to the home PC/MAC. In this way software updates can be implemented, which Mods4cars provides free of charge.

The SmartTOP soft top control is supplied with a plug-and-play cable kit, which ensures an easy installation. The connection between the vehicle electronics and the SmartTOP is made by simply plugging together. For 100% accuracy, plugs are used in original equipment manufacturer quality. Since no cables are cut through, the cabriolet module can be completely dismantled as required.

Since 2001, Mods4cars has been producing roof control add-on systems for all common cabriolet models. First in the Series “Licensed to Steele” is a Wild Bank Heist Adventure from Beginning to End

Author Noland Mattocks wanted to create an entertaining story that held reader’s attention without getting too serious or bogged down by so many details that you lose site of the story.

What would I do with the money? Author Noland Mattocks had similar thoughts and put his plans for bank robbery into the hands of Cameron Steele, stock broker, beach lover and fictional character. “It was while talking to the branch manager, who had just experienced a bank robbery, that I came up with, what I thought was a fool-proof plan for robbing a bank,” said author Noland Mattocks. “I told my idea to her and she thought it was brilliant. I wasn’t really going to rob the bank but knew the idea was just too good pass on and thus Cameron Steele was born.”

Mattocks has spent several years working in the financial world and over the years has come to learn about the inner workings of the banking business. His characters and their situations are believable without giving away state secrets. “Licensed to Steele” is the first in a series of fiction, adventure stories that feature Cameron Steele and his love Chloe. The question remains, will he go straight, as he promises his love, or will the temptations of white collar crime continue to intrigue him? Only the reader will know for sure.

“I thought I knew the story before I began writing,” said Mattocks. “I had an outline and began working through fleshing out the characters and story but about 60% of the way into the book the whole story got away from me. Cameron, Chloe and Agent Rickard had their own ideas of what would happen and I found myself along for the ride. Frankly, if readers have half the fun reading this book as I did writing it, I’ll be thrilled.
